Only hotel option in Columbus, very quiet, clean rooms, comfortable. Jacuzzi tub in suite worked perfectly and was clean. Decent breakfast with hot items, waffle maker, cereal, yogurt, breads, juice and coffee. Pool and hot tub. Not very populated on our stay, 4 other rooms occupied on our arrival. Black out shades worked well.

Was a very clean place and the grandkids loved the pool

The drain in the bathtub did not drain properly. Other than that our stay was pleasant. I enjoyed the hot tub and indoor pool. Complimentary breakfast was good

Room was "okay " worth $120 a night? No! No towels in the pool , had to use our room towels. Breakfast was "EH". Nice stay, just a little pricey!!!

It’s nice, clean, and an upgrade facility. Pool was a bit crowded with a ton of kids but it was already late so it was ok.

The rooms light switches and bathroom fan was confusing. Multiple bugs in our room.

I don’t ever share reviews of places , but I’ll make an exception this time . We got put in a room right next to the laundry area , usually not an issue - but it was musty and smelled so bad . We were told they were booked solid , so couldn’t switch rooms . Tv didn’t work, we had to have the desk girl come and unplug everything and finally got it to work. (Not her fault). Bed was fine , everything was okay in the room besides the smell was atrocious , and the musty feeling of being in a laundry room that’s damp , was hard to sleep . Breakfast was basically out at 830, and they serve until 930. I asked if we could get cups, since all the silverware and utensils were out - they did refill about 20 minutes later , so it didn’t help much - we were done eating. Very limited food choices . I don’t usually complain, and have stayed in worse places . If you don’t plan to eat breakfast , the room is okay . Make sure you don’t get the room next to the laundry room . Otherwise fair hotel, but we will never stay again.

Nice, clean motel

The toilet had urine all over the back of it under the seat and behind it. It was still wet. So gross! We went to a wedding after we checked in and called them to take care of it. That didn’t happen, they just left it dirty. Very sad!

This propery was clean, and updated. It was noticeabley and old building with cheap updates. The room was always noticably damp. The towels and carpet felt damp dispite the air-condition bein on cold and the weather being cool.

Very clean!

This is our 2nd stay at this hotel in order to be close to family. The bed is comfortable, the pillows are good, the lay out of the room is good, and the place is clean. We bring our very well-behaved dog and they put us in a room on the far end of the building so we can take her out to the yard across the parking lot. Oh and the coffee in the morning is excellent.

Room was clean, beds were comfy, but hotels with mini-fridges in them really need to defrost them on a regular basis. None of the waters and ice pack i put in the fridge in the evening were any colder next morning. Bathroom sink and mirror had minimal lighting, could be better, probably more of a problem for the ladies than us guys. Otherwise a good value, and very short drive to Amtrak station.

It was alright. Walls are paper thin so you can here everything. Doors slamming all night. Party going on past midnight, called desk and they were receptive to talking with the loud guests which was appreciated. Seems like they did some work fixing the place up but guests staying there seem a little shady. Probably will choose another hotel next time.

Hotel is clean and comfortable . A lot of things need attention. Broken ice machine , aircon in room not working , telephone in room not working , wifi not working . Staff refused to let us change rooms when our aircon was not working as that is their policy. They did have rooms available with king beds. But they preferred to let their customers have a horrible nights sleep in the heat . Not very impressed with the hotel

Quiet comfortable

We literally only need the room to sleep in but all night we listened to dripping water from the A/C unit above us hitting the window outside. It was so loud we slept with the tv on and volume a little up. Also, not very sound proof. The room above us must of had small children because you could hear them jumping and running around. So for the purpose we needed the room for it was horrible and didn’t get any sleep.

Walls are very thin you could hear people yelling and we were right above the pool so you could hear it from the pool area. The good news was we didn't get to the hotel until 11 at night when the pool was closing down anyways so only had to deal with it for a little bit

Front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. Bed was very comfortable also.

The room, 213, needs better lighting.

Somehow my reservation was canceled at 1:19 am while I was sleeping in the room. I went to the pool in the morning and when I came back my key didn't work. The person at the desk said that room did not have anyone in it. Makes no sense

It was very clean and the staff were very professional and immediately responsive.

I had an issue with the check in process that Kal Kunal resolved easily. I appreciate the friendliness and commitment to customer service.

This was a newer very clean hotel. My stay there was very short, though so I can’t comment on the breakfast or other amenities. What I can say, however, is that this hotel’s relationship with Expedia is poor. I paid for the room in advance on the Expedia website. It is what is most convenient for providing receipts to my employer. When I got to the hotel, the clerk told me I had to use a DIFFERENT credit card from the one I had used to book the room, or the hotel couldn’t process it, and I couldn’t stay. The clerk tried a couple of different things, but couldn’t get their system to accept my card. I have no other card. She was very kind, and was doing what was in her control. I asked if she could call someone, she said I could call the AmericInn office. I asked for the number. She did not have it. She said I could call Expedia, and have them cancel the room and reimburse me for the stay, and then I could rebook directly with the hotel. She said it had worked with a guest the day before. I asked what she would charge me for the new rate? She didn’t answer, but said, she may have figured a way to make my card work. And…wallah. My card went through. I can’t tell if it was a scam by AmericInn to exclude Expedia, or just a problem they need to fix. It was ridiculous, however, it took 45 minutes, and I won’t be staying at another AmericInn.

Was pleasantly surprised to see how big room was. Very nice and helpful clerk letting me check in before the 3pm check in time.

It was once a Super 8, but for the most part it's in good repair. There are a few chain restaurants nearby and a small general store. The town is nice enough. At check in, there was an error in billing which the motel was slow to correct. In the end, Expedia refunded the amount they had charged to compensate for the mistaken bill at the motel. I've stayed here once before, and despite the billing error, I'd be willing to try them again. The place was clean and the bed comfortable.

Great time and great night sleep and friendly staff

Front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. Bed was very comfortable also.

Unfriendly front desk staff. Upon arrival I was struggling to get the front door open with my stroller and the front desk person was standing next to the door smoking and commented on my struggle rather then set her cigarette down to assist then grumbled when she saw we had to check in. The room smelled very musty. The AC unit was so loud that it woke me and my 1 year old every time it kicked on. The AC filter was so dirty. I ended up cleaning them both. I have a picture below of one of them once I cleaned it. Very noisy hotel and the door rattled every time someone walked by. Several no smoking signs but the hallways smelled like pot.

Charged me $25 for early check in but denied early check in. We checked in after normal check in time. Desk even told us 1st shift denied it.

Conveniently located and fast check-in and very casual setting

Stayed one night easy access off the interstate and close to Beaver Dam

At 8:30 am. the warm food pan I assumed had rggs possibly a meat was empty. Breakfast goes til 9:30. Other than that it was fine.

Terrible breakfasts

Friendly and breakfast was outstanding. There was waffles biscuits and gravy plus sausages. I will book this hotel on 9/28 and 29th for a weekend getaway. Oh yes the pool was clean and did not smell.

Ths hotel clerk was very friendly and quick to check-in. I stayed fkr breakfast and everything was fresh, hot and they lept everything restocked. He was right there overseeing what needed to be refilled, even the utensils

breakfast was quit poor. definitely substandard.

Hotel staff was accommodating and friendly. Breakfast buffet was well stocked and delicious. Would stay here again!

Room was spacious. Comfortable beds. Complimentary breakfast had a nice variety.
