Baymont by Wyndham Columbus/Rickenbacker

Room was filthy not what was in the pic at all. Bathroom door wouldn’t shut, sink wouldn’t drain, wallpaper peeling off the walls, carpets disgusting, lamp shades were cracked and broken, mold on window molding, heating/ac unit broken, painters tape on the drawers. Bodily fluids on the headboard of the bed, bugs in the light fixtures, bathtub didn’t work. They refused to refund our money even after we didn’t stay. Very rude manager

Breakfast was amazing and the pool was so warm

We stayed in Room 103. A $50 security deposit was required, apparently because the room includes a Jacuzzi tub. At this point has not been refunded. No explanation has been given for why we have not had the security deposit refunded.

Main walkways were covered in plaster foot prints and the evelvator could use some maintenance. The roomitself was clean and the pool was clean. AC worked fine.

The pictures shown in the listing image was very deceiving, did not look anything the the nice room shown. The room I received was a non smoking room and smelled very badly like smoke, even my clothes upon unpacking after returning home smelled like stale smoke. The wallpaper was falling off the walls in several areas, the air conditioner components were falling apart, there were holes in the walls, every dresser and bedside drawer in the room was being held shut by blue painters tape on the sides as they woukd just slide open. The bathroom door wouldn't even shut or close properly. The carpet was disgustingly unclean and you could feel diviots/holes underneath it as you were walking on it. The elevator was terrifyingly unsafe and would continue to move and make noise after the doors opened to enter/exit. I have photos and videos I would glady show to compare to the listing presented. I'm embarrassed to say that I had to sleep in that room, had I had the time to cancel and book a new one that evening I definitely would have!
