Homewood Suites Lexington-Hamburg

Loved it! The only problem was the pool was too cold.

I stayed 7 nights and only had housekeeping one time and I had to request that. I tried to request housekeeping again around 1:00 PM another day and was told it was after the request time however no housekeeping was done 3 days later. Corner unit by the exit stairs and highway is very noisy. The exit door is squeaky and slammed very loud. The rooms are not sound proof I could hear neighbors music and movements. Two gas grills outside did not work. The guest laundry had two dryers both were out of service for a few days. Very dissatisfied.

This is a great stay. Honestly one of the best I’ve been to. I will be back! My only critique is that you gave to rent out the pool towels and they’re the worst towels. Sooo small and thin. But beyond that it’s amazing!

Hotel was very quiet and clean. The outdoor pool and grills were a nice perk. The beds were very squishy and uncomfortable and replacement towels were at times hard to come by depending on the time of day

This is a beautiful hotel!! The garden and pool area were fantastic!! My husband and I could sit and drink coffee in the garden and watch the grandkids while they played in the pool or played basketball on the mini court (the hotel even provides basketballs)!! There are 2 gas grills and a gas firepit in the garden area as well.

We really loved this hotel! We arrived and didn't really know the area, but learned it was a great spot! Lots of restaurants right there. We are pretty picky about our hotels and were very pleased with our choice! When we first walked in, we immediately noticed the smell. It was fantastic! They must pump something wonderful through the walls because the entire first floor lobby and dining area just smells great! The place was so clean and the lady at the desk was very sweet. Our suite was nice and roomy with a big bed, dinette with a big fridge, range, sink, cabinets with dishes, and a microwave. Nice for those longer stays. The sitting area had a couch, not super comfortable, which we were a little disappointed about, but still a nice area. There was a little table for eating with 2 chairs. The huge t.v. was pretty cool, it was hanging on the wall, but can be rotated towards the bed or the couch or the table. The bed was very comfortable, but the blankets were kinda weird. It seemed like a bed skirt was used as a blanket? Not sure, but we just kicked it off and used the sheet with a blanket that was in the closet. There was a nice large shower and toilet in one room with a lockable door, then the sink and counter in the other bathroom area without a door. A door there would have been nice. But overall it was a great stay and we would return! Nice pool, lovely outdoor sitting area with a fire pit. Free breakfast and coffee. Just a great stay!

I really enjoyed my stay! I was bummed out that they won’t allow a person to be in the pool unless another person is present, I mostly travel alone so I was sad about that. The staff was very friendly. They had a great breakfast and the room was totally clean! I loved the kitchen and it helped me save money making my own food! Great place! I would definitely recommend it!

Very spacious and comfortable room. Pool was down but we were allowed access to the pool at the hotel next door if desired which was nice.

We really enjoyed staying here. Our room was spacious, well equipped and comfortable, and well thought out (i.e. actually places to put stuff/hang towels etc.) unlike in a lot of other hotels. The air conditioning and the fridge were very quite (again unlike a lot of other hotels) and the windows were triple glazed so there was no road noise despite being near to a busy road. The outdoor pool was great and there are lots of good eating options nearby (and a Harley Davidson dealership if you want to buy a motorbike!). There was the smell of cigarettes in the first room we checked into but the staff quickly moved us to an alternate room. Breakfast was more varied that in other hotels but would have benefited from some more options e.g. waffles or pancakes.

Bathroom linens were frayed, and the lotion pump was broken. Everything else was excellent.

Morning staff was kind. Afternoon and night staff was extremely rude. Hallways smelled like smoke. My room smelled like smoke and old food. There was hair on my bathroom floor and pretzels on the floor near the kitchen when I arrived. I requested a new room and was told no.

Hotel was clean and beds were comfy. The major thing that I did not like was the strong smell of the hotel. It was way too strong of a floral smell. The scent needs to be changed and reduced.

Loved the room. Large size with two rooms. Bedroom had a door separating it from the living room and kitchen area. Very nice.

Great hotel so spacious full kitchen a plus also the separate bedroom!

The building is very nice and the staff was terrific. However, we're never had such unreliable television service. It went out several times due to rain.

This was our first time staying at a Homewood Suites and we loved the experience. This hotel is in excellent shape. The room was spacious and wonderfully furnished. It has a kitchenette so if you were staying longer it would be perfect. The bathroom was large, had a great shower and a nightlight. The bed was very comfortable.

The pros: Hotel is very clean and nicely decorated. The shower has excellent water pressure and the shower head is high enough even for the tallest guests. Cons: The room was HOT upon arrival and it took about 7 hours for it to cool down. The mattress was fairly uncomfortable and left my back hurting the next day. The TV remote makes it impossible to switch over to using your own Roku, despite there being hookups on the TV. I called the front desk to see if there was a way to switch over to my Roku and was told they aren’t “wired” that way. I find intentionally disabling this feature fairly obnoxious in 2024. The breakfast was okay but understaffed, I had to ask three times for forks to be brought out. I wouldn’t say this stay was worth the $300+ for one night we paid.

The room was fantastic, clean, and comfortable, newly renovated, all conveniences. The hotel is under renovation, so there were areas we had to travel through that are being renovated. The area is easily accessible to many restaurants, shopping and to I75.

Great service and room. Only complaint was we asked for extra towels and wash cloths and they never brought them.

Booked in March. Received a message from hotel that there was a problem with my credit card. Contacted them twice about my reservation and twice was told everything was good to go. Called 3 days before check in and everything was fine. Arrived at check in and reservation had been canceled due to sudden problem with my card. THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH MY CARD! Used it to eventually check in after long discussion with desk. Very stressful for something I had been told was NOT a problem. As to cleanliness we had to do everything ourselves. Collect towels and toilet paper from front desk daily. They kept saying they were too busy cleaning rooms for future guests that they didn't have time to do the promised every other day housekeeping. So westayed for 5 nights and they did housekeeping on the last night. I know covid changed a lot of policies in the travel industry, but they should still deliver services that are promised. Will NEVER stay at Homewood Suites again! I am also going to be wary of other Hilton properties.

It's near shopping but out of the congestion of traffic

We like staying here, it’s a perfect location, pet friendly and great restaurants near. Also a Costco near for fill ups!

We were in town for a 2 day music festival. This hotel was perfect. It was just a short drive to the parking for the festival. It was located in a nice area with some great local restaurants. The suite had a full sized fridge and plenty of room. It was perfect for our festival weekend.

Just off I75. Recently renovated rooms, Very clean, great parking. Lots of great dining options nearby. Would stay here again.

The 5 most important things I look for while selecting a hotel while traveling especially since Covid are: Close proximity from the highway I’m traveling on. Safe area & neighborhood. Closely located options for non-fast food dining. A LARGE number of reviews that disclose hotel condition, cleanliness, staffed appropriately with competent people. Lastly - Price. I will spend a bit more for any hotel if my top 4 listed items are consistently noted in the reviews. This hotel hit all my marks. Was very impressed with the location, dining options, brand newish building with lovely decor, and the staff was great. The biggest compliment - will I stay in this hotel again because there are hundreds of hotels to select and this one gets a resounding YES!!! Kudos to your manager and staff for keeping this hotel one of the best I’ve stayed in for quite some time.

We always use this hotel when going or coming back from Florida. Everything is close.

Only thing in main floor end the building light in parking lot were difficult to block out of bedroom particularly for bed closest to window. Shower could use a bit of base refresh. Beds comfortable. Breakfast ok for gluten free - hardboiled eggs. But toaster in room and kitchen so I bring my own stuff. Full sized fridge with freezer a big plus. By a Costco so good for gas etc... target close by too and other shopping. Good overnight stay for traveling overall. I would stay again just different room.

Our staff was great. However, the breakfast was not great and was either cold, late or overcooked. Pancakes or waffles would have been a great option. Also, there was no real cream or half/half for the coffee.

We booked for a quick over night stay. Our rooms were just remodeled and very nice for 7 of us. It’s hard to find rooms for our family.So that was nice, but when we got there the hotel was under construction and the workers or something were on strike so we were informed we were not getting any coffee or breakfast. Which was why I paid extra to book this hotel. $220 was very pricey without breakfast and quick stay. . We ended up leaving at 5:30am to get back on the road.

Great hotel. Fast, friendly check in. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Only slight improvement would be breakfast. It ended at 9 and we arrived at 8:30 with many others. The worker didn’t want to refill pancake batter. Water was empty and no fruit was available. This was minor and we would stay here again. We felt it was a great value!
