Drury Inn & Suites Louisville East

Very nice hotel, staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast was great. We hated the pool area though. We were so excited about having a pool for the kids to play in but no where does it say its also attached to their outdoor pool and the cold air from out side comes in. Just imagine a partial wall over the pool deviding the pool from half being outside and half being inside. It was way to cold to enjoy the pool and the hot tub had tons of kids in it where you couldn't relax and enjoy.

Such a nice hotel! Very clean and comfortable! Excellent location too! Staff went above and beyond and SO friendly!! The kids loved the pool because you could go under the wall and be outdoors then indoors! (We went in summer). The beds were SO comfortable and rooms very clean! Breakfast was delicious with huge variety! Loved that they give you dinner too, and it wasn’t too bad. Breakfast a bit more appetizing than dinner. Felt very safe. If you have a LEGO fanatic..there’s a Bricks & Minifigs located 5 min down the road! We would love to stay here again!!

The jacuzzi water was greenish. The pool also didnt look clean.

Everything was great except the buffet breakfast wasn't as good as last time. This time, the eggs were watery and there was NO BACON. Lol no biggie to most, but our family of 7 loved their breakfast before and was a big reason we went with this place. This time, it was mid, at best. The hot tub was nice and hot, but it was on the smaller side, so it was crowded when we got in and we felt we needed to get out sooner than we wanted, because other people were waiting to come in.

The hotel is very clean. Staff is friendly. The pools and gym are clean and well maintained. The breakfast is delicious with lots of variety.

Sparkle at the front desk was very efficient and kind for check-in. There was also a young lady working the evening shift that was great. The evening manager (left at 10pm-ish) was nice and made us feel very welcome during our childs soccer tournament. I would have liked to see popcorn available later in the evening (not available after 8pm) and for there to be a hangout/common area that didn't have to be as quiet as the main lobby (whisper conversation was about as loud as you could be due to the atrium in the lobby going up 4 floors and the way sound carried to not disturb other guests). We didnt get to experience much of the dinner because of our check-in time, (no fault of the hotel-our event wasnt over until almost 6:15, so we had a late arrival to the hotel) but the BBQ pulled pork was really good. Breakfast had a moderate selection of warm food (waffles, biscuits, sausage, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, & gravy) plus yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal, and bagels. The food service staff kept the food refreshed and the dining area clean. Parking was plentiful. My biggest suggestion would be to have a common area (perhaps an indoor/outdoor area closer to the pool area) where families can relax together. We had many team families staying at Drury and to have an area with a TV, some couches/seating, and bistro tables where the families could congregate w/o the worry of disturbing other guests would have been nice. Overall, my family would stay here again.

Hot tub was luke warm and overcrowded with infant children.

This property has very high ratings, however this was the first time in a while where I actually showed up and was like… ummm huh!?? Elevators are dirty(I’ve learned through traveling that if elevators are dirty there’s going to be a correlation to rooms), the rooms were surface clean, but stains on the bathroom doors, bed skirts etc. Regardless it Grossed me out. It wasn’t horrible, but if you’re booking thinking this is a 8.5 or higher I would say keep looking. It is more like a 7 using Expedia's scale IMO, sparkle at front desk(I believe that was her name) was amazing and friendly. The hotel is just in need of a refresh overall in my opinion.

Our suite was not ready at check in and the lady at the front desk wasn’t the least bit apologetic at all. She seems as though she’d rather be anywhere but there. The manager was very nice and apologetic though. The room wasn’t the cleanest, you could tell it was rushed. Overall, it was decent and I’d probably stay again.

The pool area was very nice but no trash cans in the pool area so empty cups and food everywhere.

The rooms are wonderfully spacious and have so many amenities! The common area was very clean and tidy, plenty of people gathered there morning and evening. The staff was so bright and friendly, as well. The room had a few places where you notice some wear (carpet stain, lamp shade stain) and the door to the bathroom had handprints in several places. But I really felt quite comfortable and wil be back.

We had a wonderful stay at Drury Inn! The staff was very kind and attentive! We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms! As well as the rest of the hotel! Breakfast was excellent and we were surprised with dinner as well! 10/10 in our book! Pool/spa was great as well! Would definitely return!

After returning from dinner and getting ready for bed, we found a bed bug crawling on our pillow! Upon pulling covers off we discovered an infestation. Staff was accommodating with refunding our money and offering another room. We chose to find another place to stay. We have been rewards members for years. Very disappointing.

We had a great stay here. The overall property was clean and safe. The breakfast was very good and many options to pick from. Overall there was many options to eat nearby for dinner. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The overall experience of this stay was excellent. We would definitely stay at another Drury.

The room was very nice and spacious but the bed was not comfortable. Too hard. Breakfast was good.

Stay was pleasant overall. My only complaint is that the TV was outdated. Every hotel seems to have smart tvs nowadays but we were unable to access Netflix.

Perfect place for one night for my wife and me while we stayed in Louisville. Everything was clean and very friendly. The room we stayed in this time felt ever so slightly dated, but the one we stayed in during a previous stay a few months back was perfect. I'm not knocking any points off though. It was all great. 5 stars from us.

I was in town for business, and this was a great easy option. The room was clean and spacious.

The room was huge, clean, and comfortable. Pool and hottub was adequate. The food was average for other motels but less than we have had at other Drury locations.

This hotel is a little dated and some repairs were needed in my room, but nothing crazy. We stayed in winter and didn't have a comforter, which I thought was strange, but we had full control of the thermostat, so it was fine. Breakfast we good, and the staff were all very friendly. The pool is indoor/outdoor and the kids loved it! The hot tub was very nice too. We would stay again.

Staff were amazing. AC was the nosiest system and made it hard to sleep.

There is really nothing to complain about this Drury Inn & Suites. Our room was huge, there was plenty of lighting, which I really appreciate, and we were fortunate to get a room right near the elevator, which helped a lot as we are older. They even offer free food from 5:30 to 7, but we weren’t able to take part in that. The staff was friendly and the most important thing is the room was very clean. We would definitely stay here on our next trip to Louisville.

Staff and their efficiency with a personal issue.

On our first night with the hotel we were given a first floor room near a side entrance and found the work truck next to that entrance and our window started work very early (about 5:00 a.m.) and were very loudly loading tools and discussing the days activities. When we returned to the hotel after a meeting, about 5 the next afternoon we told the staff about the issue and could they speak to the workmen. The young lady at the reception desk went above and beyond and offed us another room (even at that time in the afternoon) and even help if necessary to move. We took the offer and were quickly reinstalled on the 5th floor in a beautiful quiet space. Thank you so much for a good nights rest before we had to travel home!

The manager during our stay, don’t recall her name, may be Tamara. She was attentive, friendly and very helpful. The best manager at a hotel I ever encountered.

We arrived after driving for 12 hours and were told that we were too late for the dining and drinks that came with our booking. “That ends firmly at 7pm” Not an offer of anything to accommodate us in any way. Desk staff not friendly. Won’t stay here again

We had a wonderful time for our stay! We went for the Louisville Jack-o’-lantern Spectacular (which I think everyone needs to experience) and had a great time! This location was within 15 minutes of everywhere we wanted to go all weekend. Very clean. Staff was exceptional.

Nighttime and daytime surrounding area not clean and panhandling. Very pleased with our stay and will choose Drury Again 👍

Very clean. Great breakfast and happy hour food options. Also very close to multiple restaurants. Easy access to the highway.

Right off the highway- super busy area, a little confusing getting in, but excellent place and stay.

Good location near the freeway

Conveniently located to highway and tons of restaurants within walking distance. Suite was plenty big for three kids to stretch out. Breakfast had many hot choices. Would definitely choose to stay here again.

Great staff, comfortable room, nice location

Great location, easy access to I64. There was no traffic noise at all in our room on the north side. Nice indoor/outdoor pool. Good standard hotel breakfast. Kickback evening free snack time plus $1 alcoholic drinks can substitute for going out to eat. Kickback was packed both nights. Best of all, the price was less than other similar class hotels we looked at in the area.

Convenient to the highway 64 west and east. Lots of restaurants and some shops nearby.

Hotel is in good shape and staff was friendly and good. The guy tending the pool has the patience of an angel. That said… motorcycles. The hotel is across the street from the Baymont, which for both nights had motorcycles revving and making noise, loud noise all day and night. 6PM- 6-AM was never more than an a half hour without LOUD noise. I hate to dock them for it, but it pretty well ruined the stay.

Clean rooms, free breakfast and dinner was a plus!!

We have stayed at Drury Inns several times now. As usual it was clean, quiet, and safe with plenty of free parking. The food quality wasn’t as good as it used to be. And the nightly menu varied very little. It didn’t use to be that way.

Hotel is very clean, room is great, and the bed is very comfortable but the “kick back” dinner was really bad. The taco meat was disgusting and no other good options were available. Also, I had a hard time finding seating. Just walking around the space was difficult as it was so crowded. By comparison, I recently stayed at the Wichita Drury and the food was amazing and had lots of seating. Luckily Bob Evans was walkable for dinner. However, if I wanted to eat out I would have chosen a less expensive hotel. Fingers crossed that the breakfast is better.

Did not the breakfast at all. The same undercooked porky sausage everyday. I stayed there 4 days and the same thing everyday. Paid too much to eat poor food choices. I stay at hotels according to breakfast accommodation and swimming, your establishments particularly! Have stayed in quite a few in different areas. Amazing how the food is the same everyday

We love Drury - pet friendly, always clean and comfortable and the breakfast and dinner provided is always good. Service is great.

The staff seemed bothered to help, even for check in. The food was terrible which is one of the main reasons for staying at a Drury. The evening food had obviously been reused multiple times to the point where hot dogs were shriveled up and burnt. They put out Bbq pork that was also burnt from reheating. And breakfast was just as bad. Eggs were slimy, hasbrowns mushy. Bad enough that instead of a free breakfast my family went to the bob evans next door and paid for food. The bathroom was dirty and tub full of soap. Our fridge in thr room was broken with jagged plastic hanging off. We checked out and ended our trip a full day early because of the experience.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the hottub, though the last night some kids ran and jumped in when I stepped out to get my phone. Staff were friendly and professional. Breakfast and dinner was delish!

Had a great stay. Friends trip, we explored during the day, and went back for dinner. We were in town for 4 days and Never once had to go out and eat. They supplied a full hot breakfast and a full hot dinner! We couldn't have been happier. Beds were comfortable. Service and all the staff were amazing, polite, happy to serve us and loved working there.

We like the Drury and have stayed many times. We have always had good food and drinks and love that we have the option. However this location I was very disappointed with the food it was very basic and blah. On the other hand the beds and room are always clean and comfortable!
