San Vicente God golf resort was recently renovated, clean and quiet. I stayed in the executive suite and it had a high ceiling and had a view to the golf course. The room was very good, but the bathroom shower/tub needs to be updated, yet functional. The staff was friendly and attentive. I wish the facility had a gym, but other than that they have great tennis and pickleball courts and a pool, apart from a beautiful golf course with a view of the mountains around it. I would definitely stay at this resort if I return to San Vicente.

Nice hotel, friendly staff. Good facilities no negatives about the resort. BBQ food truck was amazing. Loved watching the golf for our room. Swimming pool good with lifeguards on duty, bar was good excellent staff and cold beverages

Our room was ready about an hour early so that was good. The lady at check in was nice. The pool and jacuzzi on site are drained but have use of a pool a drive away. We weren’t told this until the next morning. There is an abundance of black mold in the bathroom all over the ceiling. Didn’t look good. The paint was chipping all over and there were a lot of cobwebs near the windows. The bedroom doesn’t have blinds on the upper windows so if you need darkness for sleep then you won’t get it. The room had a great view and had a lot of space. The bed is comfortable. Asked for a later check out but only was given an extra 15 minutes. Considering checkout is at 11am and check in is at 3pm, doesn’t allow full daily use of what you’re paying for. Breakfast in the restaurant was overpriced. The steak and eggs was overpriced for what it was. Some of the menu items looked good. The bar opens at 9am which is great for football Sunday.

This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at, the room was infested with bugs all over the floor, windows, bathrooms .. etc. and the worst part are the bed bugs. We came back smothered in bed bugs bites, I went on the hunt and found them under the towels that we took with us on our trip. I now have to deal with this crap. If you care for your family, I would stay away from this place. Everything was horrible, if I could give it zero stars, I would!

We booked this hotel as we attended a wedding in Oceanside and the reception at the San Diego Wild Animal Park, which is just over 20 minutes from the golf resort. Not only did we love this hotel, we plan on coming back for a vacation -- it's a beautiful, quiet location, with lots of hiking and biking trails in addition to the golf course. Staff was extremely friendly and room was spacious, clean and beds/pillows were very comfortable. Parking was always available too. Although a bit far from the ocean, we will plan to stay here because it is not congested and is a beautiful drive from the water. It's about an hour from the ocean -- which is no time when you are driving in California!

When I called front desk, I told her there was no WiFi and she argued with me that there was , said there has never been a problem. I asked for a different room so I could feel safe. The rooms have been updated, but the overall hotel site needs to be redone to make it better and more comfortable - new chairs and window coverings aren’t enough to fix this hotel. This is more like a 2.5 star hotel, not a 3 or 4 star. My door wasn’t airtight or soundproof, and I was woken up at 8 a.m. to the sounds of a leaf blower, which wasn’t a great start. During my stay I could hear every conversation held in the room above me (as well as their footsteps) and all of the conversations and car sounds outside my room. It’s also annoying that you have to request room service - this feels like another cheap cost-cutting move. The towels are threadbare, but the bed linens were nice and new. This is the best option if you need to stay in Ramona - but it’s not great, especially for the price. I was super annoyed to see that rooms were sold out on their website (we even called to ask and they said they were sold out), but plenty of rooms were available on Expedia (with a huge room cost markup). Feels like they are trying to gouge customers and cut corners however they can. On a positive note, the staff is outstanding and very friendly.

The room was very spacious. It had a fridge. And coffee maker. They didn’t skimp on towels or coffee and tea or cups. We had our own private balcony and it was so nice to have coffee and breakfast out there. Would absolutely stay again. Not far at all from Barona Casino. Would recommend.

Was there for 2 nights visiting family. Was able to park right outside our door. Had $4 off vouchers for their restaurant breakfast. Large portions, delicious food. Took half back to the room to eat the next morning, but then discovered there’s no microwave in room! Had a great golf course view from the room. Quiet at night and beds comfy. Easy to control room temperature. TV worked well. Overall I strongly recommend this hotel. Only suggestion is for them to have microwaves in the room.

I was looking for a quick getaway after a long week at work, saw this place and decided to give it a try. Front desk was amazing and friendly, the bartender as well. Arriving there late is not a good idea as the kitchen closes at 9 and there is literally nothing close by except barona casino. Worst part: Pillows are horrible, and the cleaning man came up from 7 am blowing in-front of the room waking us up although it was suppose to be a restful day. In general, place is okay as a last resort, but definitely not as a main destination.

The restaurant was surprisingly amazing! We ended up eating there every night! The food was so good! Beds weren’t super comfy but did the job. An amazing last minute stay here! The staff is AMAZING...Suzanne at the front desk and servers Tammy and Katlyn...and the food was SO good! Awesome, tranquil golf course views from the hotel room patio with a coffee or glass of wine and the turkeys were a total bonus!! This is absolutely a new staycation destination for us!! Thank you for everything!

After staying in the San Diego City area the two nights before arriving here, this motel was a dream. It was quiet. I could sleep with the balcony door open and fall asleep to the sounds of nature! The motel had lots to offer, which I did not take advantage of because I was only in the neighborhood for the night. Maybe next time.

This is the third time we have stayed at the San Vicente Resort. We were pleasantly surprised that it was remodeled. The rooms were very nice and location was close to our destination. The cons would be that our room overlooked the golf course which we did not have much privacy upon opening the curtain. Also the resort restaurant was closed on Monday and Tuesday during our stay.
