Nice weekend get away. This is our fourth time at the Property. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Parking and valet worked very hard and ran things extremely smooth. The only disappointment was there were a lot of people there day passes. So many extra people there that That we're just there on day passes. Which made the people that were staying there overnight, not have any room for chairs and the lazy river was packed. I wish they would be a little bit more stricter with day passes.

This was a child friendly property which was perfect for meeting up with our son and granddaughter. They loved the lazy river and pool. My husband and I loved the Spa. I received the best relaxation massage and mani-pedi. Other Spa amenities were excellent. Food at each of the hotel restaurants we tried was top notch. We hope to visit again soon!

Beautiful grounds and lobby. rooms clean. staff friendly. Food options were limited and very overpriced, with not many options. Buffet very small and prime rib was good, but paper thin, and the carver at the buffet was limiting people on it. Pool was kinda dirty and mirky, very mirky like it was filled with suntan oil. Tubes were pretty oily too.

We went just before July 4. Lots of families with kids. Room was very nice. Enough to explore. Lazy river was great even though it closed on occasion with the weather (lightning). Food was great - just a little pricey. There are activities like kayaking and fishing but they will cost more to do. The game room was the only underwhelming piece with outdated games that required purchasing a game card so it was a skip. Got to see a few deer, woodpeckers and there is an area to pet goats and llamas. Def was worth the trip. The staff was super helpful and friendly. It was a lot larger resort than the pics make it out to be!

The doors are heavy and the springs that close them make them dangerous for kids- our 5 year old got his finger crushed. The whole place is really run down- rotten wood, rusting metal, missing pool tiles, weeds in shrub beds, bare dirt where grass has died…..

We have been to this property several times both in summer and fall. Love the outdoors. The pool is heated. Grounds are well maintained, beds very comfortable. The dining options are good. Gym is big. Definitely a great option for a quick getaway close to big cities in Texas.

So many activities for the kids and adults! Nice and clean room, beautiful views, lovely staff, amazing overall! Will definitely be back but packing things with us like fishing gear, bikes (hard to find unless it’s first thing in the morning)

Overall had a good stay. I took away a star for two things. One was that we had no hot water in our shower. We were told maintenance would come by to fix it but they never did. However, we were comped during checkout for the inconvenience. Second reason was that the rooms are definitely not soundproofed. You can hear everyone open/shut their doors and hear people talk in the hallways which was pretty disturbing late at night. Other than that, the amenities really make this place. The pool, spa, activities, and proximity to the river all made this a cool and unique stay. The property is also very tidy and clean!

We were so excited about staying at the resort. But have to say, we were disappointed. The resort and grounds are beautiful. The golf course was beautiful and very well maintained The spa was very nice. Michelle was a wonderful. I would recommend her for any body service. Our biggest disappointment was the food! For the price, our expectations were higher. We had many meals during our stay and were disappointed after each meal. Some things were good, and some were not at all! We loved sitting outside in the evenings around the fire pits, but one evening we had to asked the bar manager numerous times to have them turn the fire pit on by the pizza bar. They never came. She kept saying engineering would come, but they never did. We sat for over an hour eating and waiting, but no luck. She acted annoyed by our request. House keeping did a great job on the room. However, The tub in our room must have just been recently painting because there were many paint chips floating in the bath tub water. I had to rinse off in the shower. The resort is beautiful! But I hate to say, we won’t return. Too much money for the level of service and food!

After checking in to our room, we were surprised to see that our room was occupied by another guest. When we notified the front desk they were indifferent about the issue. Although they “upgraded” us to another suite, this suite had not been used nor cleaned in weeks. As a result, the room was dusty, filthy, and not ready for guests.

It was wonderful! The only thing that was a bummer is you couldn’t request which area you were staying. The South Side is closer to all of the activities. We were put at the furthest corner of the property from the restaurants/pools.

We loved the modern room renovations! There were storage cubbies and charging stations everywhere you wanted them. The beds were so comfortable, with nice, fresh linens. The modern ceiling fan was a nice surprise and the addition of the table and settee that could also work as a sleeping place was brilliant. Also, the larger refrigerator and cool night lights in the bathroom made staying there such a pleasure. All of the staff members were friendly, eager to please and very efficient. The Lazy River and pools were not crowded when we went and were clean and attractive. We also enjoyed s’mores at the fire pit and dining. I highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful, peaceful resort. Food at all 3 restaurants was amazing. Kids loved all play areas and the pool with a lazy river was a hit. They have a petting zoo with alpacas, mini horses, Texas longhorns. You can go horseback riding. Rooms were large and updated. It is about 25 minutes to downtown Austin and 9 miles from a Bucc-eels! Had a great stay.

Overall had a good stay. I took away a star for two things. One was that we had no hot water in our shower. We were told maintenance would come by to fix it but they never did. However, we were comped during checkout for the inconvenience. Second reason was that the rooms are definitely not soundproofed. You can hear everyone open/shut their doors and hear people talk in the hallways which was pretty disturbing late at night. Other than that, the amenities really make this place. The pool, spa, activities, and proximity to the river all made this a cool and unique stay. The property is also very tidy and clean!

We went just before July 4. Lots of families with kids. Room was very nice. Enough to explore. Lazy river was great even though it closed on occasion with the weather (lightning). Food was great - just a little pricey. There are activities like kayaking and fishing but they will cost more to do. We arrived on Monday, for a full week stay. We had 3 rooms, with family from ages 5-75. Every room's refrigerator would freeze up. Our room had a leak from the shower through the floor on the other side of our wall which soaked an entire duffle bag of clothes. It was nearly impossible to get seated with 10 people, ended with reservations. The daily "events" for kids were lackluster at best, and most not even set up on time or cancelled. If you reserve a cabana know that they don't even have staff at the pool until 10am, so don't book the 9am cabana block. Overall the staff were young, rude and not well trained at hospitality considering the amount of money their customers are spending to be there. We won't return. Will take my 3 rooms and 10 guests elsewhere.

After checking in to our room, we were surprised to see that our room was occupied by another guest. When we notified the front desk they were indifferent about the issue. Although they “upgraded” us to another suite, this suite had not been used nor cleaned in weeks. As a result, the room was dusty, filthy, and not ready for guests.

We have very bad experience it took us two hours to check in. The staff is not helpful in the front desk. They don’t give us the right to. I’m not happy and I will not recommend it to anybody to stay totally with kids. They will rule your vacation.

Getting ahold of the front desk is nearly impossible. When you call the main number it goes straight to reservations who tells you to call the main number and push zero. We have been to this property several times both in summer and fall. Love the outdoors. The pool is heated. Grounds are well maintained, beds very comfortable. The dining options are good. Gym is big. Definitely a great option for a quick getaway close to big cities in Texas.

It was wonderful! The only thing that was a bummer is you couldn’t request which area you were staying. The South Side is closer to all of the activities. We were put at the furthest corner of the property from the restaurants/pools.

Girls weekend! The property is beautiful but the prices are not. $20 mojitos and mixed drinks. Self parking $18. I would recommend free parking for guests and charging for the day visitors that come for golfing, or the other amenities. Lost Pines needs to look into a getting a traffic control device at then entrance to the resort. We were unable to get across the freeway to go into Bastrop for dinner. We had to turn R out of the Resort, move over 2 lanes and then make a U turn at the next light. This was not well planned by the Resort. The Resort is child friendly with several play areas and pool facilities. They do have an Adult only pool which is nice. I recommend having Adult only weekends so I don't spill my $20 mojito on the kid dashing through the lobby on their scooter. Check out was difficult as there was only 1 employee working at 945 am and there was a line of guests waiting. Hyatt, get some help and install a traffic control device at the entrance.

This was a child friendly property which was perfect for meeting up with our son and granddaughter. They loved the lazy river and pool. My husband and I loved the Spa. I received the best relaxation massage and mani-pedi. Other Spa amenities were excellent. Food at each of the hotel restaurants we tried was top notch. We hope to visit again soon!

Beautiful grounds. Great activities for the kids. The food was disappointing. Lack of AC in barn area where we paid $75 for a BBQ buffet hosted by the Hyatt. Also, very limited options for the buffet. Definitely not worth $75. Food in other restaurants were also so-so. There were kids in the lazy river who were throwing rocks at each other and in the pool. There was NO one to monitor or correct these kids. Either staff or parents. Very frustrating for a mom of two toddlers.

We booked for convenience but were very impressed by the food and cocktails, which were both top notch and served by relaxed and helpful staff. The cocktails were very well thought through and some of the best we have had anywhere, not just in Texas but Manhattan and London. A hidden gem!

We greatly enjoyed staying at this resort for the most part. We were shocked to find out that the dinner buffet would not be open on Friday or Saturday due to lower capacity. This is one of the reasons my family stays at a resort. We like having a buffet for meals so that everyone can find something they like. The website never stated that this resturant was conditional and even had their menu posted for both nights. We did eat at Mavericks both nights and the food there was delicious. Next time we will prepare better and have clothing appropriate to eat at the higher end resturant too.

The staff were absolutely wonderful! We wished the pool was cleaned more, there was a lot of dead bugs we had to swim around. We did also find a live big roach in our room but luckily it was only one. Other than that the resort was great.
