The location of this property was great with views of the marina. Unfortunately, the restaurant and bar was closed the evening of my stay due to short staffing. Fortunately, staff recommended a very good restaurant within walking distance.

Big clean room and bathroom. Very attentive staff and the adjoining pub has excellent food. Relaxing on the covered balcony, watching all the activity at the marina was interesting. Whales were breaching too!

Friendly staff, super clean room, huge comfy bed, coffee in rooms, and our balcony was right on the water with a great view of the marina and harbour. We were able to launch our kayaks from the hotel parking lot. There is a nice pub with patio right in the hotel overlooking the waterfront. Theres a convenience store and liquor store on site and bakery cafe a stones throw away for breakfast.

Just a beautiful place, surprisingly with everything we needed in one small area. Great breakfast options and coffee at Nancy's bakery just steps away. A lovely pub with pleasant service, a beautiful view of the ocean, and a terrific menu. And another boardwalk restaurant with seafood options and more. Also, right behind the hotel is a beer and wine, and market with all basic needs covered. To top off, all staff and locals friendly and courteous.

This is a very convenient hotel to stay in Lund when you want to do some activities. As a hotel guest you are guaranteed to have a parking space. The rooms and bathroom are small but good enough for a good rest. The beds are big and soft, however advertised as 2 person beds which is almost impossible (1,20 meter wide). The staff is very friendly and the restaurant has great food. The terrace has a great view over the ocean.

The town of Lund is very small with few shops and restaurant options. If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful retreat with great views, staying in the Lund Hotel is a nice option. Pollen Sweaters and Nancy’s Bakery are a short walk away. For boaters getting work done at Jack’s Boatyard it’s less than a mile away and a pleasant walk. The hotel is in an older building and the rooms were recently renovated. Ours was spacious, nice bathroom and comfy bed and linens. Laurel is an amazing host who never stops making your stay a special and comfortable experience. We enjoyed the onsite pub which served great food and drinks. Being located in the harbor also makes for interesting “entertainment” and amazing sunsets. We plan on making the Lund Hotel an annual fall destination.

The restaurant/pub wasn’t open due to staffing shortage so we had to drive back to Powell River for dinner. The walls are thin and you can hear the neighbours. Clean room and bed was comfortable. Ocean is beautiful.

The room was a place to lay your head but it was very outdated, we received no new towels or cleaning of our room during our stay. The keys were old school keys and easy to loose and the dining at the hotel was very mediocre outside of the breakfast sandwiches. I would not stay here again but the scenery outside and the Staff were absolutely amazing! So many kind and welcoming people

Front desk staff was friendly upon check-in, but then not really around through out the day. We tracked sand in our room from being at the beach and couldn't get ahold of a broom (no broom in room), also no iron or hair dryer. It's very bare bones. Beds were comfy. It's a very old building, so keep that in mind for sound proofing.

Everything was great except the paper thin walls and super noisy neighbours in room 110. They were yelling and swearing and had the TV so loud. The movie they were watching also included a lot of yelling and swearing. Other than my inconsiderate neighbours, the whole Lund experience was amazing. The place is great. They are just reopening this summer after being closed for the past few years due to COVID. Staff was great, but stretched thin. You have to call a number to get hold of the manager to check you in as she is also covering the restaurant. Also the restaurant is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. Room could use a microwave.

Short staffed. The room was dirty with spider webs. no cleaning service during the whole duration of our stay. no staff at the lobby during normal hours. Guests have to call and wait to check in. The manager complained to the guests about can’t find people to work as excuses for bad service.

If we could give the front staff 10 stars we would. They were kind and had such a great sense of humour. We heard the staff deal with unbelievable rude and entitled “guests” with grace and much patience than I ever could have. Rooms were clean and quiet.

The check in process was not good at all There was a young teenager at the desk when we first arrived who obviously was not interested in being there. Told us to park across the street and pay. We found out there was free parking behind the hotel which we subsequently used. The room was fine, the hotel was short staffed and the women that were working in the bar were fantastic. They were run off their feet but were quick, friendly and did their best. Just the check in process was very poor with a bored, disinterested youth who should not have been the 1st person to encounter at the facility

A comfy and quiet spot at the end of highway 101. We enjoyed our ocean front room with balcony, it was super quiet as there are no rooms above. Parking around back for guests with shops adjacent. Lovely bar and restaurant featuring local cuisine. Would happily stay again.

Harbour views were great. Liked the short walk to Nancy's Bakery for morning coffee and breakfast and the easy access to the water taxis.

The town of Lund is very small with few shops and restaurant options. If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful retreat with great views, staying in the Lund Hotel is a nice option. Pollen Sweaters and Nancy’s Bakery are a short walk away. For boaters getting work done at Jack’s Boatyard it’s less than a mile away and a pleasant walk. The hotel is in an older building and the rooms were recently renovated. Ours was spacious, nice bathroom and comfy bed and linens. Laurel is an amazing host who never stops making your stay a special and comfortable experience. We enjoyed the onsite pub which served great food and drinks. Being located in the harbor also makes for interesting “entertainment” and amazing sunsets. We plan on making the Lund Hotel an annual fall destination.

The air conditioner in the room didn’t cool it properly. The bathroom is quite small. The hotel’s location is convenient—close to a grocery store, bakery, gift shop, and it has a lovely waterfront view.

Wonderful stay at the property for five nights. Amazing view and Excellent meals! Bakery is also amazing! Close to the water taxi and store! Staff very friendly and accomodating. Older room with updates. We really enjoyed the stay!

The place is great. They are just reopening this summer after being closed for the past few years due to COVID. Staff was great, but stretched thin. You have to call a number to get hold of the manager to check you in as she is also covering the restaurant. Also the restaurant is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. Room could use a microwave.

The location of this property was great with views of the marina. Unfortunately, the restaurant and bar was closed the evening of my stay due to short staffing. Fortunately, staff recommended a very good restaurant within walking distance.

Lund is isolated and we travelled midweek, so staffing was sporadic. However, you could always get in touch with someone. People very very friendly and really wanted us to enjoy our stay. Room was clean and comfy. Pub and restaurant were open Thursday through Sunday. There is a small store with food and a customer microwave. Lots of sail and motor water craft dock, shower, stock up, etc. Glad we came. Saw lovely birds and orcas

Big clean room and bathroom. Very attentive staff and the adjoining pub has excellent food. Relaxing on the covered balcony, watching all the activity at the marina was interesting. Whales were breaching too!

The room was a place to lay your head but it was very outdated, we received no new towels or cleaning of our room during our stay. The keys were old school keys and easy to loose and the dining at the hotel was very mediocre outside of the breakfast sandwiches. I would not stay here again but the scenery outside and the Staff were absolutely amazing! So many kind and welcoming people

The restaurant/pub wasn’t open due to staffing shortage so we had to drive back to Powell River for dinner. The walls are thin and you can hear the neighbours. Clean room and bed was comfortable. Ocean is beautiful.

Bar and restaurant were closed when we stayed but the Boardwalk Restaurant was still open (last night of season) and the store is literally next door. Manager Rich was very informative and helpful about local amenities. Nancy's Bakery is highly recommended for breakfast or just sitting next to the water. Accommodation is pretty much standard motel bedroom but was very well maintained.

I stayed three nights with my dog. The room was comfortable and clean while providing everything I needed. The staff was extremely helpful, especially when I asked to extend my stay from one night to three nights. It was amazing to have an evening meal on the restaurant patio overlooking the ocean. The grocery store is well stocked. The other restaurant is also overlooking the ocean and make amazing fish and chips.

It’s the only hotel in Lund. Rooms are small and basic but functional. The building is weathered on the outside but this doesn’t really affect the occupants. The restaurant is quite good. The location right at the harbour is good for water taxi rides.
