Having EV charging available is a bonus for people with an electric car. The charging infrastructure around town is woefully inadequate. When I next visit Mudgee, this property is the one I will be choosing primarily for that reason but it’s also great accommodation and the staff are fantastic.

We always choose this property when visiting Mudgee. The restaurant was open not open for dinner and breakfast was, but we had to wait 45 minutes for a granola and two kids' pancakes. Our room was next to a pet-friendly room with a barking dog. The pool was open, but the spa was closed. We booked here for the convenience of having all facilities available for relaxation, but unfortunately, we couldn't use everything this time. Staff were very friendly and welcoming!

I really like the appearance of the property, the rooms were spacious, clean and well decorated. However the breakfast experience wasn’t great. No one knew what was happening, our food took about 35mins to come out delaying our whole day. There were only 2 options on the kids menu and of course the waffles wasn’t available and that’s the only thing the children wanted. The chais were not flavoured and tasted like plain milk. On check in we were told that the pool was closed as well. There were no discounts offered or anything to make up for this. Overall it’s a great location, easy to get in to town and we would have loved it so much more if the service was up to par.

They’ve advertised facilities with gym? The room they call ‘gym’ has three equipments. One was out of order. The tiniest room! I had to call reception twice to get our room serviced. First call they said they need to focus on arriving guests. 4 hours later I called again to service our room. Cleaners didn’t even vacuum the room only replaced the towels and made the bed.

Great place to stay in Mudgee. 3 minutes drive from the town centre and close to wineries, Putta Bucca Wetlands and a 3 minute walk to High Valley Cheese Co. rooms are spacious and clean and can accommodate 4 people to sleep. The rooms have been renovated and are very clean. The restaurant on site has a limited menu but the food we had was delicious. Highly recommend the Brussel Sprouts with Pancettta, roasted cauliflower and baked Camembert cheese. There’s an indoor heated pool, spa and sauna which the kids loved. The flaming tents look great but sadly we’re all booked out for time we visited. Great value venue.

The rooms are average and need a good clean. The bed was not comfortable and the pillows are old. The king size quilt barely covered the bed so im guessing it was a queen size quilt on a king size bed. The housekeeping was poor and not done everyday.

We had a most comfortable stay at the Parklands Resort. Newly renovated room and bathroom with the most incredible rain shower! Was perfect after being out in the cold winter winds for the afternoon. Very clean and tidy with home comforts. We will be back!

The rooms have been updated a little, the curtains are years old and the sunlight comes through. The bathroom was grubby and the shower had mildew on the tiles which I cleaned myself to be able to use it. There was tampon wrappers in the toilet brush canister. House keeping did not refill the coffee sachets of a day. Not a good experience and wouldn’t want to stay there again. I visit Mudgee often!

The room was quite spacious. Seems to be a lot of wasted space. The bed was not comfy , the pillows were not good either. The beds were two singles pushed together and the crack in the middle was not comfortable. The mattresses were so uncomfortable, we have sore backs from the bed. We noticed as we were leaving that the linen rooms where fresh linen is kept was extremely dirty. Leaves and dirt all over the floor and the clean linen just dumped there in bags. Walls are very thin, could hear next doors TV well into the night and then again before 7am. The grounds were nice and tidy

Very pleasantly surprised at the Studio room which was huge, updated and fresh. Had a freestanding bath also. Bed was very comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed brekky too, which was very good value for money. I liked that it was not a buffet. Unfortunately, we were on the ground floor (110) and whoever was in the room above us had no consideration for anyone else's comfort. Sounded like a herd of elephants over several hours. Security was called and it stopped. This is not the fault of the hotel, but I would certainly book a 2nd floor room in future. Would definitely return.

I was in room 206 which had a middle connecting door that was locked, but it was very noisy. I could hear conversations and TV noise until late night. To make things worse, someone’s car alarm was sounding around 7am (which is not the fault of the hotel). My room curtain was broken, which couldn’t be fully closed. The girl in the bar was very friendly and helpful. Overall the room was clean and bed was comfortable.

Generally speaking I loved this property, the inside of the rooms were quite nice and clean, and the area is beautiful. Some of the amenities are a little dated, like the pool and gym but that really didn't detract from the experience. The only bad thing I would say is that the room was not available for check in at 2pm. We arrived early and didn't expect the room to be ready, but at no stage were we informed that they were running late for a 2pm check in. First we were told less than half an hour so we waited in the foyer. After 50mins I had to approach the front desk to ask again, and finally the room was ready. I don't have a problem with things going wrong, it is how it is managed that causes the problems. We ended up sitting around for almost 2hours because no one had been proactive and respectfully enough to call or inform us that there was a problem. Sure we got an apology, but honestly this was beyond just an apology. There most definitely should be compensation in these cases.

Rude staff, not at all hospitable or willing to help a stuff they made with a check in time. Dangerous top heavy and thin furniture toppled over onto our toddler, noisy air con stuck on heat only, stairs weren't safe for elderly person we had with us. Staff also made it a huge problem that we asked for 2 keys, our booking has 2 rooms. Never staying there again...

The resort itself was beautiful and room very clean and well appointed. The reception staff need some training. We arrived at 7.45pm on a Friday night after a long drive from Sydney to be told the kitchen had closed at 7.15pm (despite what it says on the website). The receptionist had given our room to someone else by mistake, and had to call them to confirm she had done so. She gave us their room instead. It was very confusing. I was told that she was about to go on leave for a month so her mind was elsewhere. She gave me a room key and off I went with zero explanation of the property. The following day we asked reception if they could call us a taxi and we were given the number for a taxi and told to call them ourselves.

Lovely place to stay. Room was large and very comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Check in was not so great. Arrived after 4pm and was told that our room was not ready yet. We had had a long day of driving and thought that as check in is 2pm that the room would be available. Was told that the hotel staff had had a big day but they should be able to get your room ready. Others also did not have their rooms ready either. Then was also told that they could see that we had ordered breakfast but that was not available either. They could provide a continental breakfast only. If you cannot provide breakfast it should not be an option when making the booking. We had received no communication from the hotel to advise that our room would not be ready and to arrive later. We ended up changing our room so that we could check in. Lovely grounds etc.. but the overall experience with chcek in would make me think about it before booking here again.

Parklands is a great place to stay. Rooms are extremely spacious, clean & staff are friendly & helpful. There is a beautiful outlook from every room. Complex is about 1.5km from the town & close to most of the wineries. We will certainly stay at Parklands again

I enjoy the convenience to shops etc and the township of Mudgee. The cow hide rug on the floor was a trip hazard especially for older people, and there was no phone in the room to make contact with the front desk. The restaurant wasn't open on either Saturday or Sunday night. Quite disappointing.
