There were many hotels to choose from in Mendoza that all seemed similar in both price and amenities. The Argentino seemed unique in its style plus provided a room with two single beds at a reasonable price and with a great location right off the main park. Staff was very helpful and spoke great English. There's a bar with beer and wine always at the ready. Breakfast is included but it's not exactly a hot breakfast. It consisted of large amounts of bread and fruit for the most part. The most “American” complaint I heard was that the cups were too small. For our part, the biggest complaint we had is that in the summer the room AC unit was not powerful enough to combat the heat of the sun against the window until night time. The room stayed mostly warm. But generally speaking, I can recommend this hotel.

The hotel was great for location and facilities - even better was the staff. Front desk folks were always ready to assist in storing luggage or giving directions. It reinforces why in the tug of war over hotels vs short term rental stays - Htoels - like Argentino offer so much more. Highly recommend

Foi ok. Hotel antigo, tudo bem ok. Os elevadores ficaram sem funcionar por 2 dias e tivemos que utilizar escadas. Vi gente de muleta tendo que descer escadas e tivemos que descer com nossa mala pesada as escadas. Acho que não vale a pena o custo e benefício. Though the hotel is slightly older, the front desk, breakfast and cleaning staff all raised the quality for my 5 day vacation. I especially appreciated the assistance of both Tatiana and Benjamin. My hotel room had a beautiful view of the park and street and I had no problem with the late night traffic as I use a white noise machine to block the sound. Of course, this is expected for any hotels where there could be some nightlife. One side note for visitors, going to Mendoza, and anywhere in Argentina, not having anything to do with the hotel is that unlike in the United States where pedestrians have the right way, that is not the case in Argentina. For that reason, guest need to be especially vigilant when crossing the streets.

The bathroom flooded because shower door was broken. We told the staff but they did not seem to care. The power went out several times. The room was not particularly clean. Television didn't work. Great location though.

Great location — unbeatable. Located right at the Independence Plaza. If you are a light sleeper, noise will be an issue — my room is facing right at the street so I hear quite a bit of noise of people passing and such. But in BA if I am tired after a long day I am fine falling asleep. It’s a basic hotel — but comfortable and the bed is good. So if you are not expecting luxury it’s a great place to stay at decent price.

The location of this hotel is perfect. Close to many good restaurants, walking distance from the San Martin Park, a lot of shopping options close by. Was the right location for us that did the Marathon. The room was clean, simple…had what we needed. Breakfast could have more options like eggs included.

The outlets are old and any weight on a charging device would pull it from the outlet. Needed to support the charging device. There weren't any chairs in our room when we arrived, but they brought some up for us. Otherwise, it was a good stay.

Awful stay, very rude front desk staff. Expedia gold suggests 2 included drinks at check in and then they charged us for them on check out. Room is small, no natural light, AWFUL breakfast, tasteless and super hot coffee my wife burnt her mouth on it. Decent location but for the money save yourself the disrespect from terrible staff.

The best thing about this hotel was location! The Plaza de Independencia was right in front of the hotel and it had a night time water show, Hop on Off bus, vendors and plenty of restaurants. We also enjoyed the breakfast. It was an exceptional Argentine buffet breakfast.
