The room was clean and the appliances worked, but that was about all I can say about it. The tub looked like someone had done tie-dye in it as it was stained purple with handprints. When we were there it was an unusually warm Oct. day and the air was turned off, not a big deal I know how to operate a thermostat, so I turned on but it never cooled down! I could hear the AC running but only lukewarm air was being blown out of the vents. You could also tell this room had been abused over its life as there were a number of patches on the walls and in the doors. The patch jobs though were just enough to fill or cover the hole or damage, but no effort seemed to be made to "hide" the patches. The wall patches were not painted and the patches to the doors were just filler without it having been sanded down or any attempt to make it the same color as the door material.

First room we got was a little run down and had a musty wet smell to it. . It had trash and dirty socks left by the bed and behind the nightstand which we had to move to plug the lights in. The mattress also had a bunch of stains all over it. We were moved to another room and although it was cleaner and in better condition, the mattress was full of blood stains. A lot of blood stains. We ended up just checking out. We were already a late check in and at this point it was 10:30pm and we still had to find another place to stay last minute. They said they gave me a refund (and I could see the original charge and refund showing on my acct). Once I left they charged my other credit card that I had on file to put the incidentals fees on, for the room. I went back there (now it’s 11pm) and they first said no it wasn’t charged then when I showed them it was they said it was because someone did the refund that didn’t know how to and that it was just pending and we wouldn’t actually be charged. The following day I could see the payment for the room went through and was posted. I contacted them again and again they said it was refunded and would be sent back. I explained that I could see the incidentals fee being credited back but there was nothing coming back for the room. They then said that charge would take 2-5 business days to show up… on a card that should have never had the charge on it to begin with. Absolutely horrible experience beginning to end.

I just want to say. Hotel is in need of a very deep clean. We stayed on the 1st floor. We had our grand kids and their knees and feet were very dirty from being on the carpet in our room. Was very displeased with this. Room felt and smelled damp. Breakfast was good, and staff were good. Just needs a deep clean.

Sheets had a big stain on them and the mirrors were filthy. Room smelled like state cigarette smoke.
