Great location, very accommodating staff. The hotel is currently under renovation, and the new rooms look great, but the hotel itself seems like a construction site, so they may want to warn the guests when they make a reservation. It will be great once the renovation is complete.

Zimmer schön und sauber, im Einzelzimmer ein 120cm Bett was sehr viel komfortabler ist als 90 cm. Kühlschrank. Ziemlich gute Vorhänge. ABER: Kabel-TV hat nicht funktioniert, W-Lan eher langsam, Film schauen nicht möglich. Matratze eher hart.

Difficult to find the door, even with instructions, especially if you need the accessible entrance. Would help if they sent a photo of the door and a small map. Room wasn’t available 45min prior to official start of check in which is fair. Check into room was still delayed even after returning more than an hour after check in time. Relatively bare bones, no coffee or hot water service in room. Otherwise clean and serviceable 2 star hotel.

The hotel is under renovation so the lift area is very dirty and dusty. The surrounding area outside the hotel is also under going construction so the access is limited. The road leading to the hotel was blocked and not possible to park near the hotel. Otherwise, the room was spacious and clean. The air conditioning is not working due to the renovation and the staff was kind to put in a portable aircon upon request.

It was a dark & stormy night...and we were driving around & around the blocks, unable to find this place for over 20 minutes. We just kept circling the red pin on our map but couldn't seem to land😤 Once we finally found the small, however, we were Very pleasantly surprised! Innovative key retrieval, wide hallways, & a super-large, fantastically spotless room for the 3 of us!! Hubby & daughter didn't care for the beds, but I was a fan. Room was heated by hot water that warmed it well within 20-30 min. Wi-fi was problem-free. Gorgeous view out the windows of Lake Konstanz. The ONLY negative was our shower: doors didn't want to stay closed & showerhead had some lime build-up that disrupted the water flow. We were only there for one night so no great worries. But we would absolutely stay here again & definitely recommend.

Direkt gegenüber vom Bahnhof. Super zentral. Leider aktuell große Baustelle vor dem Haus/Bahnhof. Also doch lieber ein Zimmer zum Hof wählen (halt ohne Aussicht dann).

DO NOT stay here for the foreseeable future! There is major construction both inside and outside the hotel. The main entrance is blocked and closed. Use the side door, but it is blocked by construction vehicles and littered with construction debris, dog feces and cigarette butt's. The entire ground and first floor is gutted, debris is everywhere. The construction noise starts at 7 am and goes until 4-5 pm. Sleeping in is not possible. No breakfast is possible. Rooms only available in upper floors, but the lift is reserved for construction personnel only. All the floors and stairs in the hotel have not been cleaned for weeks, perhaps months. The hotel will NOT tell you any of this until your reservation is beyond the cancelation point, very sneaky of them!

Wir waren nur 2 Nächte im Centro, die Lage ist perfekt, aber die Sauberkeit und vorallem der "Zimmerservice" ist schrecklich! So etwas habe ich bisher noch nirgends erlebt. Das einzige was gemacht wurde, ist das Leeren des Abfallkorbes. Die Betten wurden nicht gemacht, nur die Decken schlampig hingelegt. (Leider funktioniert das mit dem Foto hochladen nicht!) Die einzige freundliche Person in diesem Hotel, war die Dame beim Frühstück. Dieses war allerdings sehr gut und reichhaltig. Aber dass das Personal in einem Hotel so unfreundlich ist, kein Hallo oder ein Lächeln zustande bringt, ist unverständlich!

Das Zimmer war schön groß und sauber. Zudem ist das Gästehaus direkt am Bahnhof gelegen, sodass sehr gute Anschlüsse erreichbar sind. Aktuell wird das Gästehaus renoviert, jedoch hat dies zu keinem Zeitpunkt gestört.

Hatte das Vergnügen, im Gasthaus Centro zu übernachten, und die zentrale Lage ist definitiv ein Pluspunkt. Das Parkhaus gegenüber ist sehr praktisch, allerdings kostet das Parken 24 Euro pro Tag, was für längere Aufenthalte etwas teuer sein kann. Leider war ich mit der Sauberkeit des Zimmers nicht zufrieden. Es wurde nur das Nötigste gemacht: der Müll wurde geleert und frische Handtücher bereitgestellt, aber der Boden war bei unserer Ankunft bereits dreckig und wurde während unseres dreitägigen Aufenthalts nicht gesaugt oder gewischt. Zudem war das Mobiliar im Zimmer sehr in die Jahre gekommen und erinnerte stark an den 80er-Jahre-Stil. Der Couchtisch war sogar kaputt, was den Gesamteindruck weiter trübte. Das Personal war freundlich, aber die mangelnde Sauberkeit und die veraltete Einrichtung sind Punkte, die das Hotel dringend verbessern sollte. Insgesamt hat das Gasthaus Centro Potenzial, aber ich hoffe, dass in Zukunft mehr Wert auf die Zimmerreinigung und die Modernisierung der Einrichtung gelegt wird.

Mein Gepäck konnte ich bis Mittags stehen lassen, alles kein Problem. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, es war sauber und ordentlich. Etwas hellhörig - aber dennoch empfehlenswert, es ist alles fußläufig zu erreichen in ein paar Minuten. Nette Restaurants und Bars, es lohnt sich, nach Konstanz zu kommen. Das Gästehaus Centro ist da eine gute Wahl für Gäste, die nicht unbedingt in einem 5-Sterne-Hotel Urlaub machen können. Eine Empfehlung von mir.

Located right outside Konstanz train station, it was easy to reach on arrival and depart after exploring Konstanz. Hosts were very nice. Were upgraded to a room with Mountain View and the sea. Very clean hotel, with lifts available to reach all floors. Check-in was done smoothly. Heating and hot water available. Aesthetic room with super comfortable beds. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would certainly come back.

Das Personal am Empfang war sehr freundlich und herzliches. Das Hotel ist schon ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen und ist sehr hellhörig. Die Zimmer waren grosszügig, bieten sehr viel Platz. Die Sauberkeit war O.K., gab aber an gewisse Stellen viel Staub (Ventilator, Abzug im Bad). Auf dem Bett wurden zwei Haare entdeckt, was auch unangenhem war.

Helt greit hotell med enkel standard. God beliggenhet ved togstasjonen og nærhet til sentrum og restauranter. Kjøpesenter i nærheten. Stille og rolig. Veldig enkel frokost (lunkent vann, ikke ferske grønnsaker, ikke ferske rundstykker hver dag). Rommet og renholdet var bra.

Camera piccolina e poco corrispondente alle foto che sono sul sito / portale. Non c'è l'aria condizionata, così bisogna tenere aperte le finestre, ma sotto c'è il mac donalds, quindi rumori e schiamazzi fino a tardi. Bagno piccolo senza ventilazione e con lavandino minuscolo. Poi è comodo perché si trova esattamente davanti alla stazione dei treni, però l'impressione è che la struttura si sia un po' sopravvalutata.

Unterkunft mit Kingsize-Bett gebucht, zwei zusammengeschobene Doppelbetten bekommen. An sich ja kein Problem, aber am Kopfende waren Rollen. Die Betten sind also bei der kleinsten Bewegung auseinander gerutscht und man drohte in der Mitte runter zu fallen. Ein bespanntes Schlafen zu zweit war so kaum möglich. Zudem ist die Umgebung doch sehr laut. Aufgrund des Umbaus gab es kein Frühstück, das war im Vorhinein aber nirgends ausgewiesen oder ersichtlich. Der Flur ist sehr hellhörig, man hört jeden Schritt von draußen. Positiv überrascht hat mich die Größe des Zimmers. Es war sehr geräumig und die Möbel wirkten modern. Dass man bei der Größe aber keinen vernünftigen Schreibtisch bekommt und entweder auf dem Bett oder Boden arbeiten muss, wenn man auch nur einen Notizblock zusätzlich zum Laptop verwendet, ist wiederum schade. Alles in allem viel zu teuer für das, was es bietet. Über 100€ pro Nacht ist bei so vielen Punkten aus meiner Sicht zu viel. Ich habe schon für 60€ - 70€ pro Nacht in angenehmeren Hotels geschlafen.

Hatte das Vergnügen, im Gasthaus Centro zu übernachten, und die zentrale Lage ist definitiv ein Pluspunkt. Das Parkhaus gegenüber ist sehr praktisch, allerdings kostet das Parken 24 Euro pro Tag, was für längere Aufenthalte etwas teuer sein kann. Leider war ich mit der Sauberkeit des Zimmers nicht zufrieden. Es wurde nur das Nötigste gemacht: der Müll wurde geleert und frische Handtücher bereitgestellt, aber der Boden war bei unserer Ankunft bereits dreckig und wurde während unseres dreitägigen Aufenthalts nicht gesaugt oder gewischt. Zudem war das Mobiliar im Zimmer sehr in die Jahre gekommen und erinnerte stark an den 80er-Jahre-Stil. Der Couchtisch war sogar kaputt, was den Gesamteindruck weiter trübte. Das Personal war freundlich, aber die mangelnde Sauberkeit und die veraltete Einrichtung sind Punkte, die das Hotel dringend verbessern sollte. Insgesamt hat das Gasthaus Centro Potenzial, aber ich hoffe, dass in Zukunft mehr Wert auf die Zimmerreinigung und die Modernisierung der Einrichtung gelegt wird.

Great location for exploring Konstanz, tons of places to shop and eat and drink! Above a McDonald's so....late night snacking made easy! Front desk only avaliable until 9pm. They do have self check in for later than those hours.

Was across the street from the train station so was very convenient. When we asked where a nearby laundry facility was the hotel said they had a washer and dryer on premises with soap that we could use for no charge-fantastic! The facility was very safe, neat and clean. Staff were very helpful. I would certainly stay there again.

Difficult to find the door, even with instructions, especially if you need the accessible entrance. Would help if they sent a photo of the door and a small map. Room wasn’t available 45min prior to official start of check in which is fair. Check into room was still delayed even after returning more than an hour after check in time. Relatively bare bones, no coffee or hot water service in room. Otherwise clean and serviceable 2 star hotel.

Located right outside Konstanz train station, it was easy to reach on arrival and depart after exploring Konstanz. Hosts were very nice. Were upgraded to a room with Mountain View and the sea. Very clean hotel, with lifts available to reach all floors. Check-in was done smoothly. Heating and hot water available. Aesthetic room with super comfortable beds. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would certainly come back.

Beim einchecken sehr freundlich empfangen, Zimmer für diese Preisklasse sehr gut ausgestattet. Beim Frühstück alles da was man braucht. Service beim Frühstück auch sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für einen Kurztrip nach Konstanz bestens geeignet.

The hotel is quite dated; should get a major overhaul. The price was quite high, considering the overall quality. The staff was friendly enough and offered free breakfast as compensation, but the breakfast buffet was quite limited as well and not everything was fresh. The public parking garage is right next door, which is a) convenient, but b) also quite pricey. Although there was construction going on around the property by the city, the location was very convenient right in the center of the city.

DO NOT stay here for the foreseeable future! There is major construction both inside and outside the hotel. The main entrance is blocked and closed. Use the side door, but it is blocked by construction vehicles and littered with construction debris, dog feces and cigarette butt's. The entire ground and first floor is gutted, debris is everywhere. The construction noise starts at 7 am and goes until 4-5 pm. Sleeping in is not possible. No breakfast is possible. Rooms only available in upper floors, but the lift is reserved for construction personnel only. All the floors and stairs in the hotel have not been cleaned for weeks, perhaps months. The hotel will NOT tell you any of this until your reservation is beyond the cancelation point, very sneaky of them!
