The rooms are newly renovated - very clean! Unfortunately, no sound proofing. We could hear the neighbours TV , kids jumping in the unit above. Very limited insulation between the bathroom and living space. The air conditioner is very loud as well. The room was freezing when we arrived (Aug 10). There is no option to turn heat on, just had to turn the air off. It took awhile to get remotely comfortable. The sheets were stained (although I'm sure they were clean). As there isn't a "front desk", I texted the number provided to inquire about getting new sheets, but no one responded. Not great when you have an issue that needs a resolution. It wasn't a great feeling to have to sleep with those sheets :( There is a great restaurant across the road - that was a nice bonus.

Areas not cleaned in unit. Faculty sink. Loud noises in wall or just outside unit making sleeping very difficult. Was not provided check -in information so could not get in unit for over an hour as it’s self check-in only. Nobody around to call. Just email questions.

This property was extremely clean. The bed is very comfortable, comparable to a stay at the Fairmont. The room was very quiet. Service was done via a text message which provided a code to the door, I was happy with that, but I can’t really rate the service.

A newly renovated motel. Simple and stylish. Small complaint: Couldn’t get the tv to work and the exhaust in the bathroom not working. Otherwise, a very comfortable room. The bed was extremely comfortable. Slept like a babe! Would return.

The room was well appointed and up to date. The only negative was noise. We could hear every foot step from the room above. The other noise factor was due to the railway tracks being about 50 meters away. A train with its horn blaring occurred twice in the evening. A bit unsettling but it may have influenced our decision to stay had we known in advance.

It was a nice renovated in. The beds were not queen but comfortable. It was the towels for me! And everything smelled like fresh laundry! Not stale hotel smell.

Relatively convenient location just a short stroll to the main downtown. Newly renovated and easy check-in process. Only downside is that it was a little noisy (train that runs behind the property, banging perhaps from renovations above, noisy footsteps from the room above, beside a main road).

The room was recently wonderfully renovated. Quick check-in on the phone means no need to check in in person. I hate to put a compliant here cause the room was great, we're just sensitive to light when we're sleeping and they have a bright spot-light just outside the front door and another just outside the rear window which the curtain couldn't contain. Otherwise yea it was a great stay.

Very accommodating in letting us check in a bit early. Very clean - newly renovated. Bathroom a bit tight - but overall was pretty good. If you are travelling by car, you may want to bring your own pillow. Easy walk to all things downtown Gravenhurst.

They use a self check in format which was very smooth and convenient. The room was simple, clean and well maintained. We asked for a luggage rack for our suitcase, and although it isn't something they provide, the staff very generously and graciously found a small bench for us to use to keep the suitcase off the bed or the beautiful new furniture. I would recommend this lodging for a short visit to Gravenhurst. Be aware that the built in safe listed on their reservation site was missing from our room, so if this is important to your stay, be sure to ask.

We were surprised by how much we liked Stay Inn Muskoka. Room was spotless, the bed was COMFY, aside from one train passing by at 9:00 pm the room was also very quiet. Close to everything in Gravenhurst. Will definitely stay again.

The property was newly renovated, clean, and bright, but unfortunately the location was very poor. It sits right next to the railroad and on a busy main street with constant traffic, making it quite noisy. The building itself is not soundproof, so every step, tap running, or toilet flush from the upstairs unit could be heard throughout the night. While the unit itself was in good condition, the overall experience did not match the price. For the level of noise and the lack of peace and privacy, the accommodation felt far too expensive. Definitely not worth the cost given the location.

We loved our stay here! It was very clean, beds were comfortable, and was perfect for what we needed for a night in town. It was also a great location - we walked to the Sawdust City brewery for a few beers!
