Hotel was just ok. Pool area was very nice. Inside was dated and could use an update. Shower was very slippery so getting out could be dangerous for anyone with balance issues. Hallways smelled like cigarettes( not sure of smoking policy) and my co traveler’s room had ants in it and the exterior wall was soft( wet) and in need of repair. Overall cleanliness is hard to tell because carpets had stains as did bathrooms.

This was one of the few options available in the area for a music festival we attended. It met our needs. The room was clean, and the cleaning staff very pleasant. Our room was serviced after the first night (of 4) but not the other days during our stay. The breakfast bar had a variety of good options. A few of the machines (coffee maker, ice maker) were out of service. I personally found the bed to be too soft but appreciated the new -looking towels. Front desk staff friendly and professional.

This review relates to staying with a pet. We chose this model based on the reviews here, but when I checked in, and told them I had a dog, the gentleman told me that they have specific rooms for people with pets. Fair enough—and also these rooms seem to be on the first floor so it is easier to take them out to relieve themselves. But this room smelled so badly of dog — dog ursine, dog sweat, just dogs. It could have been cleaner too (corners in the bathroom). Beds were ok but had only a thin spread over the sheet and the pillows are all squares, so not rectangles and therefore not very big. Finally, we had sandwiches in the room and out the garbage in a plastic bag and tied it shut— in the morning there were ants all over it. I mean ants are not horrible but still just kind of ick. We didn’t plan to use the pool but fair warning that there is a sign saying the pool is closed until the county inspector lets them open it. Don’t know if that is just every season, or if it was shut down, or why but if you want to swim make sure it is open.

The breakfast choices were great and the ladies in charge of it were very friendly and did a wonderful job keeping the area good warm and fresh! We were told the pool would still be open but it was disgustingly green and obviously had been closed several days before our arrival. The property's back doors didn't seem to ever be locked, so anyone coming into the back parking lot had complete access into the hotel . Also, the hotel needs some fresh basic updates; towels, bedding, paint, etc .

Great location. Easy to get on and off the freeway and centrally located for visiting the wineries. The free breakfast was better than most. They do have a water filling station which is a nice addition.

A run down & smelly place! The carpet in our room smelled like wet musty socks! The Ac unit smelled and was spewing black debris out onto the desk. It also wasn't working properly so we shut it off. The grout in the bathtub was black. Some of the bathroom accessories were rusty. The bed was sorta comfortable though I didn't sleep well wondering what else wasn't clean😳 The only positives were a large assortment for breakfast and the lady at the desk in the morning, when I complained about our room. She apologized for our stay being unsatisfactory & had me write our issues down. She promised to pass it on to management. So far I haven't heard anything. We should have complained last night but we figured other rooms would be the same, maybe not?? I have no idea how that place got such a good rating! I should have taken more photos😩 Too bad the photos can't show the smell!

Sadly many things. Roaches The air conditioners in both rooms were load. We turned them off but they would crank up loudly every 10 minutes all night long for about 5 seconds and then go off again. The bed was one giant whole. Room 108. It was our second time staying. First time was great. Not this stay though

Staff at front desk and in breakfast area were pleasant and helpful. Room was very dirty. Bathroom had not been vacuumed at all, hair everywhere. Toilet seat was dirty. Ceilings and walls were stained. We arrived late and had no other option but to stay, but I would never return.

Absolutely filthy! They do not clean their “Pet Friendly” rooms. There’s nothing friendly about this facility…the smell, kibble all over the floor, animal fur everywhere, feces and animal urine spots on the carpet. I switched rooms, much to my disbelief, the room was the same….FILTHY! The only difference was the human urine smell. Urine in the toilet, dirty wet towels under the sink and the carpet had definitely not been vacuumed for days. The staff was not interested in hearing my request for any type of a refund. They were more than happy to charge me the pet fee.

the outside of this property was fine. We arrived late at night and when walking towards our room we noticed the air was damp and musty. The bathrooms were dirty and outdated. The room itself was moist and the carpet was damp. Perhaps the worst part of the stay was when i pulled back the sheets in the morning and noticed i had slept in a bed with a dry blood stain, which looked like someone had haphazardly tried to clean up, i was disgusted. When we brought this to the staffs attention at checkout, they were not apologetic and just said “we will let housekeeping know”. They offered a discount but did not disclose the amount.

The scenery of this place is beautiful. But the rooms are horrible. Ants, roaches and spider webs everywhere. House keepers are the worst, made up the bed, didn't empty trash or wipe down after i complained about ants all over the desk. They got into my bags. Just terrible for the money we paid.

Bathroom was in such disrepair and filth we walked on a towel on the floor and opted to NOT shower. Mold and dirty and let’s say needs work. Bed skirt had a substance dripping down it (egghhh), but bathroom shower was just really bad. Bed was comfortable and appeared clean outside of the dirty bed skirt.

This hotel is old and dirty. The carpets in the hallways and rooms are really dirty. The beds are way too soft and lumpy and they don't have mattress pads, just sheets that don't quite fit. This property needs to be renovated and improved. If it had been a cheap hotel I wouldn't complain because you get what you pay for, but it was expensive and a waste of money. We'll never stay there again.

The room was large but a door to the separate sleeping area would be nice. A sleeper sofa would also be good. The heating units were very noisy when running and made a clicking sound when off - very annoying. The fridge buzzed loudly as well. The pillows were horrible but the bed was comfy. The breakfast was quite good and the staff were friendly. We appreciated being able to bring our dog for a reasonable additional price.

The suite was sweet. Full size comfortable living room furniture in a large nicely laid out room. It would be nice if there were a door, sliding barn door, or even some draperies on a traversing rod between the bedroom and living room, but overall really nice bang for the buck.

The room itself was nice with 2 queen beds. The bedspread was very thin, and the pillows were like throw pillows. The shower was slow and no hair dryer in the bathroom. We ended up staying another night in another room. The room waa much better. Great thick bedspread and a hair dryer left in the bathroom.

Price was decent, but there's a reason it was cheap. Overall, hotel looks beat up and ratty. Weird half-size pillows, skimpy sheets, and no blankets at all. Noisy fridge in room. Staff was courteous. Breakfast was ok.

The hotel is very old and in need of a lot of serious updating! Although the room was okay with the cleanliness it had several maintenance issues that needed addressing. The adhesive shower mat was peeling up, the shower hose going to the shower head leaked along with faucet, it was spraying water out behind it against the shower wall. The bed was very uncomfortable, mattress seemed very old and unsupported. The entire wing our room was on smelled damp and musty, We had a two night stay but left after the first night.

We booked this hotel for our wedding night. When we went to check in, we were informed that they charge an additional $200 for locals. This is stated NO WHERE on any of the websites. A lady behind us in line spoke up and said, "Surely you wouldn't do that for a special occasion." The guy behind the desk said, "Is it a special occasion?" as I stood there in my wedding dress and my husband in his suit. He acted like he didn't have a clue what he was doing during the whole check in process and was honestly quite rude. We had a bunch of people that had come into town for our wedding, and I promptly told them to go find another hotel. I honestly would not recommend this hotel, for other reasons, including the parking lot being very dimly lit and we did not feel safe. The room was extremely hot, as the air was completely turned off. It was not a pleasant stay, especially on the night of your wedding.

Upon arrival, there was no one at the front desk. After waiting for 15mins, we had to go find someone to check us in. Rooms weren’t ready & we had to wait over 2hours when we were told our rooms would be ready in 30mins. The gentleman who eventually checked us in wasn’t customer friendly and did not offer any form of compensation for our inconvenience. It appeared the hotel was extremely short staffed especially for late Saturday afternoon. The rooms were clean, comfortable & quiet; however the bathrooms were showing their age with mildewed caulk in the shower. The breakfast buffet was wonderful & the staff was attentive. At checkout, the front desk clerk was extremely personable & helpful when I had to retrieve an item left in the room. The negatives and positives were about the same, so my overall impression was just ok.

Breakfast choices were good. The king bed was comfortable and the king suite was really big. The cleaning staff was friendly helpful The carpet in the hotel was outdated, but overall the hotel was very good and i would definitely stay again and again.

One of the two biggest weekends in the area and the management takes the weekend off, leaves only one person on staff to check people in for the weekend. 10 people deep waiting to be checked in on a Friday night and no help. Then Saturday morning coffee machine breaks, more angry customers. The management should be onsite to assist when you know you are expecting a sold out hotel. Taking the weekend off is unacceptable and leaving one staff member to be abused by all the upset customers shows poor managment skills.

Front desk representative, Sanchez, was efficient and very friendly. Room was quiet and comfortable. My only complaint is that the grout in the bathroom was black in areas. Otherwise the room was in nice shape. Remove and replace the grout for a stellar review.

Check in took a while even though we booked ahead because the computer were down. And I was only offered a second floor room even though I overheard the person after me was offered a first floor and didn’t book ahead. Breakfast was decent but didn’t have any variety between days. Beds were comfortable and seemed clean.

Location was excellent. Very close to highway. Check-in was quick and friendly. Hotel is pet friendly and the charge was minimal. Hotel is a bit dated but for the price and cleanliness of it wasn’t a big deal for us would definitely stay here again.

For $200 a night in a small town, I would expect a nicer hotel. The sheets were like sand paper. The bathroom was old, mildew in shower, floors were dirty from years of not being well cleaned, the shower curtain was in shreds, the TV remote didn't work. The breakfast was horrible. Just overall disappointed for a Best Western for that kind of money.
