The room was not handicap accessible you could not get a wheelchair in the room and to the bahroom

Very clean and comfortable. We travelled with pets and management was great!!! Breakfast provided with great coffee!!! Highly recommend!

I had to struggle to get my mobility challenged Mother up the steps to a 2nd floor room because the clerk told me at check in that she couldn't do anything because I booked through Expedia. There are definitely people living in the rooms and a couple people had cooking appliances out on the walkway in front of their room cooking which created an unsafe obstacle to have to navigate my Mother around after getting her up the stairs. Horrible experience and I would not recommend a stay here to anyone.

Comfortable bed and room. Parking is okay. Variety of breakfast items is low, no fruit, yogurt or eggs.

The room was very nice. The staff was wonderful and helpful. Pet friendly, easy parking at your door, breakfast waffles and dinner by door dash. We would definitely stay here again.

it's a nice and clean road hotel

We had booked lodging accommodation reservations online via Trivago.Com, which utilized a third-party website such as Expedia.Com to book lodging accommodation reservations with the Super 8 Bridgeport-Clarksburg, West Virginia. Upon arrival, we immediately noticed two gravedigger-like forms of equipment machinery and various forms of loitering by rather interesting individuals outside of the hotel/motel facility. Then, upon entering the Manager's Office, we were greeted by a pleasant young man who was covered in body piercings and tattoos throughout his neck, both arms and other parts of his body. The Lobby area was old, dated and musty. One's 78-year-old mother indicated that she could not stay in a lodging facility such as the Super 8 Bridgeport-Clarksburg, West Virginia. The Front Desk Clerk informed us that our credit card would be charged, even if we did not stay at the hotel/motel. Due to the fact that a second-floor motel room was assigned to us, one's dearly beloved mother could not utilize a stairwell in a motel facility which possessed no form of elevator access, due to her Allergy-Induced Asthma, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Emphysema, Non-Alcohol, Non-Drug Cirrhosis of the Liver (NASH), Type II Diabetes Mellitus and other significant, substantial health issues. Ultimately, even with the threat of the Super 8 Bridgeport-Clarksburg, West Virginia Front Desk Clerk/Manager, we chose to refrain from accepting room keys.

Clean, updated rooms, friendly staff, fresh coffee (at lobby, none in room), yummy waffles. Low pet fee.

Awesome stay. I appreciate the facility is pet friendly, unfortunately there are not a lot of dining options available in close proximity without having to drive. Currently the breakfast is mainly a "grab and go". However after a long drive the room was clean and the beds comfortable...and just an added treat Josh was absolutely amazing!

Housekeeping never cleaned the room. Left days worth of trash in room never cleaned

Terrible stay. Would you pay $80+ to sleep here? We had no choice, other hotels we usually stay at were booked. Wife may have bed bug bites on her fingers. Had to clean surfaces on furniture before sitting belongings down also. If we brought bugs home, won’t be fun. Someone needs to look at this place -room 124

The room was very clean! I was a little surprised with the smaller "full" size beds, but we made it work. Over all, we were very happy with our room!

Much like all Super 8 hotels, as far as clean goes and room decor. Room appeared just fine with plenty amenities (save coffee machine) and large king bed. However at around 6-6:30 am my travel partner woke up complaining of a burning sensation on his hand, it was then he found the bug bites on his fingers, rather large, in-between his knuckles. Having this experience before he stated that it was from a bed bug, so we commence looking around and on the bed and thus found a single adult bug. I took it to the front desk to confirm that this was indeed a bed bug and they agreed. Told the manager would have to decide if we got a room refund (partial), plus there were no rooms available for us to move into. We were to check out anyway but at that early we were still quite tired and had no spare cash for another hotel and decided to stay. I cannot say where the bug came from for certain, but we did find it that morning and in our room.

no breakfast for vegan/pure veg. Not even breads. Only pan cakes and apple avail. Coffee is okay’ish. Sheets & towel changes only on 4th day for long term stay (disgusting policy to fool people on eco friendly name)

The floor of the room was black as coal. Even after they mopped it , it was still dirty. I walked barefoot and the bottom was as black as asphalt. If you wanted breakfast you had to cook it your self.

Very Clean Rooms and Comfortable beds

Didnt go to breakfast. When i checked in the set up looked small, theres a burger king and a bob evans right by the hotel..i went there instead. Besides you have to either drive your car to breakfast or walk outside, theres no direct path to the lobby. Especially if you are on the back side. And if you are looking for somewhere quiet....guess again. All the oil and gas guys will either cat call you, yell down the hallway or slam their doors constantly. Shower pressure and temp....awful. Lamps on night stand and table were rusty. Curtains didnt close all the way. Had laminate floors and the bed frame was noisy and unstable. Perfect for a solo trip if you just need to rest your fine. But not for a family. Also.....was told i would have to pay a 150.00 cash deposit because i was local * i live 50 miles away and needed to be at the hospital early. I never have to do that when i stay at other Bridgeport Hotels. So i wont be staying there again. The lady at the front desk sat the entire time she checked me in. Not rude but definitely not uber friendly.

I liked the updated bathroom.

I reserved a non smoking room, had to settle for a smoking room. The smell of cigarette smoke was really bad. The air conditioner was set on 60 degrees and continuously running all night. The room stayed warm all night.

Although the hotel was a bit outdated, the rooms were very clean and the bed was comfortable! The staff was also very friendly

Very basic but just needed the rest after a long trip. Very clean. Bathroom was very clean. Room and especially the bedding needs upgraded. Old but clean. The room overall was clean and comfortable.

Noisy people outside constantly. Not very respectful of others in terms of their vocal level’s. Not much around the hotel. Unless you like to poison yourself with garbage processed foods

Bathroom shower was really bad, tub was very slick, shower head was so high, being short couldn't hardly reach, cause the water was turned off at top, the plumbing was just terrible. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was terrible. Microwave wasn't working Not sure I'd stay there again. But was pretty clean.

In the middle of the night, we were awakened by someone entering our room because the front desk gave them a key for it to be their room.

Property was fine but they charged us a $150 cash deposit and still put our card on file for incidentals. Hotel itself was clean and a good value for the money but the deposit was ridiculous

The,staff was ept and professional. Very friendly. Great rate and i would certainly stay there again. I was a little concerned about the reviews, but it wsnt like that at all.

Staff are extremely rude. Went to check in was told $150 deposit no problem. Day of checkout one of the workers accused me of taking a wash cloth. Don’t recommend. Offered to let them look though my things. Declined. Seemed like they did not want to give my $150 deposit back.

The staff was not only extremely rude but also very disrespectful and unkind as I was trying to stay alive in the hospital and we couldn’t get any help

The location was very easy to get to That was the second time we stayed there. The staff was very friendly.

It was close to where we had to go and everything was close by. The room smelled bad. Gave me headaches. I booked a room that allows smoking, we vape and the smell of the room was horrible cigarette smoke smell

This motel was reasonably priced, friendly staff, close to places to eat, shopping, and the interstate. Good TV selections. It was quiet inside my room, and, although no accommodation is inexpensive today, this hotel was reasonably priced, clean, and offered granola bars, yogurt, coffee and juice for breakfast.

Clean, quiet, away from busy area.

Checked in late and left early. Friendly front desk. Rooms are clean and great for a quick layover. Sometimes you can hear people. Waffles and warm beverages for a quick breakfast are appreciated.

Room was a good value. Quite a few folks just hanging out. It looked like a retreat for blue collar workers. Breakfast was pretty limited.

We felt welcomed at check in (very easy to check in) and when we got into the room very relaxing and we loved how big the TV was big plus. Beds were comfortable and clean. Everything was great and breakfast was great too. Check out was also easy.

Room was clean - good for an overnight stay. The breakfast was a little lacking - only waffles (and batter was too thick to pour quickly), apples and granola bars. Overall good value - would get a great rating if breakfast was better

I like how the rooms are so clean, and put together nicely, the tvs are awesome and they are way more attractive than it was a years ago!! Huge up grade in the that! I do think there shall be more options w breakfast like milk and cereal. Other thank that, clean and nice! Thank you!

Nice not off the beating path to find. Only down fall was breakfast wasn't great but alright.

Crack in sink, shower/tub chipped several places, walk into room dark have to try to find table light or pole light, info said free breakfast but just grab and go granola bar and coffee.
