Main issue was that the room smelled terrible

As soon as I checked in and entered my room, I could smell something musty. Making it worse, I had reserved a king and instead there were two queens. I went to the front desk and asked for a different room. He told me they were all sold out. I told him I’m not staying in a room with a musty smell. Told him I was going to ask hotels.com for a refund, he agreed that was warranted, and then I left and went somewhere else. Unfortunately, hotels.com and Candlewood are making the process unnecessarily complicated just to get my refund.

Disappointed that the room above us was booked at 11:30 pm. Many rooms available so not sure why they had that room. Person walking was loud and showering at 12:30 am! We had to be up at 3:30 to catch a flight. Not much sleep! Otherwise nice place.
