Broken ice cubes machine, and no other way where found to try to get some from somewhere else. It is frustrating, is all. Everything else was ok . Thank you

Some furnishing are dated - but in good basic shape. The elevator is slightly banged up - giving a somewhat poor first impression.

I arrived late. Not a lot of parking spots left. A little scetchy but i was tired and needed to rest. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Had someone bang on my door in the middle of the night which made me feel unsafe and i disnt sleep well after that. Could have just been some kids but i dont know.

I stayed here two nights. Check in was fine. I got on the elevator that smelled like the hydraulics were going out. It felt like it stopped mid floor every time I used it. There was also no certificate of inspection posted in the elevator so be mindful of that and take it at your own risk. I’m not sure who can be contacted about that, but it seems to be a lawsuit waiting to happen. I then entered the room, which look clean on the surface, but had a terrible smell to it. I will absolutely never stay at this place ever again. I travelled alone, and felt pretty unsafe staying there.

Room said sleeps 6, but only 2 beds and no pull out. Pool advertised but no pool. We went to wrong hotel because there are two la quintas in area

It's old and smells like smoke in the lobby. They charge more than anyone for a security. The elevator may fall apart while you are in it. My toilet could wake the dead. The shower was kinda gross and this place gives off a Shining Vibe. Like serious Shining Vibe.

It was an affordable option for the area and pet-friendly, which was a bonus. It had everything we needed for an overnight stay after a long day of driving. Overall, it was a good experience. We arrived late, and parking near the main entrance was full. There were no luggage carts available, so carrying our travel supplies through the lobby and down the hall was a bit inconvenient. The breakfast was nice and expanded, though it lacked fresh fruit. The rooms were clean, and bed and pillows were comfortable. However, the carpet had a slight "pet pee" smell. For the price we paid, it was a good choice for us.

Very clean

Dirty stains on the walls hair in the tub and floor and smelled of stale smoke/mildew. Towels and toilet had pubic hair all over them. Bed had hair and dirt on it. When you go to the lobby you instantly smell smoke. Outside looks like a run down apartment building.

I had a terrible experience. The room wasn’t clean, and it was smelly. As soon as we entered, we noticed that the carpet was damp at few places (probably that’s why it was smelly). We also saw dead roaches within the room.

Needed to work from hotel room during stay and WiFi was terrible. I was getting kicked off Teams meetings and breaking up on normal calls. Do not stay here if you need reliable internet connection.

The place needs some work. The ceiling has water damage and was falling down in our room. There are spots in the carpet and a mouse ran out of the room right after we entered.

No hot water for showering, according to reviews this isn’t new. Other than that a great property.

The only thing that I would say was a little bit of a problem was you could hear the people in the next room. The walls are extremely thin. They finally decided to go to bed around midnight.

The popcorn ceiling in the bedroom had leaks and was coming down. The carpet was dirty and the room smelled dirty. The tub was dirty as well.

The Ac did not work right room was hot they changed me to another room and it didn’t cool much either.

It was only a one-night stay so the expectation was low. I just needed to get some sleep before I continued driving. Check-in was easy the room was ok. My problem is the AC made really strange and erratic noises when it came on throughout the night and my upstairs neighbor kept running back and forth heavily across the room for hours. The front desk did call them and it did seem to stop around 11:30pm, but the whole point was to get sleep which didn't really happen as I had to be up early in the morning to continue driving. Not entirely the fault of the establishment, but still a disappointment for an already low expectation.

The room looked very run down. Patched walls. Shower bar would fall out of the wall. Giant hole in the shower from the bat.

As a hospitality professional that has worked in a few Hotel brands. I associate the name La Quinta as a good brand and not really comparable to a Motel 8 Inn. The bathroom is terribly outdated from the 70’s no shower liner, ceiling had some leaks and the door doesn’t tightly closes with gaps that insects and light filters in the room. Definitely looks more like an Inn, Not worth the price per stay!!!!

Between the hours of 7-9 am or pm there was no hot water or even warm water. You could not use the showers due to this. While walking to front desk I was asked by multiple other guest if I had hot water. Once at the desk there was already a guest there complaining about it. Once I got to speak to them I was told they would note it and let maintenance know when they get in for there shift. Front desk staff didn’t seem to care about the issue.This happened both days of my stay.

Easy check in and out. Pleasant staff.

The breakfast attendant was rude. The food was not cooked properly. The hotel was not clean.

The attendant at the desk was very friendly, polite and welcoming.

Was certainly okay for the money but was not thrilled I had a $100 hold put on my bank account for miscellaneous charges. $100 is pretty excessive.

The front desk staff was terrible

I have stayed at this property before and today I was told I could not stay because I’m not 21 so I’ve had to pursue other accommodations evening

The young man behind the counter and the maid service were very nice. The accommodations were average. The bathroom could use some work. The molding at the base of the tub had almost completely come off. The back of the toilet started leaking. On our last day, we lost water for about 30 minutes in the bathroom. The breakfast was from what I was told by my family, lacking. Eggs were runny. Hashbrowns were mush and coffee strong enough to clean out your system within 30 minutes. Not to mention the breakfast police. Story goes, my child decided she didn't want to stay downstairs and make herself a waffle. So I went down and cooked her one. While I was waiting for the elevator to go back up stairs, I hear this man start berating the young man behind the counter about enforcing the rules and that he has to speak up. Then the same man raises his voice and basically yells over to me that I can not take the breakfast food out of the dining area. Mind you this was my 3rd day staying at this hotel, there are NO signs posted about not removing the food and the day before we passed a woman taking 3 bagels and coffee back to her room. There was no reason for him to raise his voice to me like I was a disobedient child. If you want people to follow the rules, then maybe you should inform them with a sign instead of being a rude jerk. You get what you pay for, I guess. We'll be looking elsewhere next time we're in the area.

Booked this hotel for my son to sleep. He was only passing through trying to get to Maine. Front desk had the nerve to not let him check in because “legal age is 21” had my son not knowing where to stay or do because of this policy they have in place. No where in the booking did it state age requirement. Took our business to Ramada, very pleased that Ramada did not give my son a hard time and was able to rest after driving from Texas. No thanks to La Quinta.

Creepy people hanging outside the property. They were not staying at the hotel. One man would watch as cars pulled in and then follow them up to the door. He would stay smoking a cigarette by the front door. As someone traveling alone It made me really uneasy. I went out later the next day and it happened again. This time I tried to wait for him to leave but as soon as I got out of my car he followed me into the building. Luckily I had my dog and asked the front desk for water for her. He eventually left and I had the front desk make sure he didn’t follow me. Noting that it happened twice makes me think these people stay outside the hotel and do this often.

Close enough to Hershey Park to make the lower price well worth it!

The breakfast man was a bit unfriendly. He started throwing away the breakfast food without asking those at the table if they had finished eating.

Absolutely no hot or even warm water. The guy at the desk said (like it’s obvious and I should know) to let the water run for five minutes. I ended up letting it run and run for over 10 minutes and the water never got better. I tried to take some juice and toast up to the room to my son and they wouldn’t let me. First time ever for that. The hallways smelled like weed and people left garbage in the hallway. Definitely won’t again. It was pretty clean though so that’s the only good thing about it.

The orange juice was water down, and there was no one to change it. They didn’t have eggs and they said it was a supply shortage. Some but not all of the people behind the desk. We’re not very kind or polite. Seem to be spending too much time in the back room and you had to stand at the desk and call for them, they had cameras so they knew we were standing there but didn’t respond unless called. Maybe on their cell phones playing or something

Black mold on ceiling of shower. Breakfast was visually unappealing and lacked variety. Orange Juice was very acidic and the apple was watery. The entire building looked shabby. The sidewalk in front of the hotel was taped off and there was road construction going on.

I actually "shopped" for a Harrisburg hotel online by price, and was pleasantly surprised that La Quinta was so nice. I'd had luck with LaQuintas in the past, but you never know. I got lucky ... One of my criteria was carpeting. The trend these days is bare floors, but your carpeting broke a tie with other hotels and motels ... Excellent breakfast, too. Didn't know what to expect, but the spread was good and it saved me time and money ...
