We stayed there 2 other times before. This last time the quality of the stay has diminished. The breakfast was almost the same everyday. I hope you like scrambled eggs. The choices were very limited. No omelet, pancakes, sunny side eggs for the 5 days we stayed. The pool wasn’t maintained well. Algae was apparent throughout the pool for 3 of our 5 days. The elevators were never vacuumed. They rarely vacuum the hallways. The rooms get cleaned every other day, towels etc. They charge $8 for you to park a car per day That’s why they charge you an extra $50 when you arrive. These are changes from the last 2 stays and the price went up. The staff was very friendly. It just seems like the hotel made cuts that will lower the quality of your stay at the hotel.

Breakfast was big and had a lot of variety etc but later in the morning it had definitely sat for a while. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Close to Grand Ole Opry. Easy access to roads - once you find the parking lot. There is a charge for parking. Nice size rooms.

The facility was fine. VERY nice people. Biggest complaint was $8 parking per day !!! Were we supposed to walk there ??? Total rip off I would have rather just given the hard working staff the $40, not the company.

The lobby has an unpleasant odo in it that was noticeable all 3 days/nights we were there. The elevator carpets are dirty and worn out to the threads., obviously not vacumed much. The hotel as a whole is a little outdated. The bath towels are pretty thin. Could use new fluffier ones. The shower gel is very nice, loved the scent!! Get rid of all carpeting and that would help a good bit.

The hotel was awesome . The front desk personnel needs more training as they gave us wrong answers on several questions about amenities. Pool hrs , bar wasn’t open, shuttle to downtown doesn’t take credit cards cash only and then we tried using the shuttle to the mall the desk had us waiting for 45 minutes to end up telling us the last shuttle was a 4pm now it’s 6:10pm after waiting all that time.

Love staying at this location. The staff is great, accommodations are great, breakfast is great, and the location is very close to everything including a shuttle that takes you to downtown for a small fee.

The advertising in the elevator is misleading for bar food. It doesn’t exist but we were told it is coming in the fall. Breakfast was great. Only had one person working in the evening who could not serve liquor, so we could only have beer, not an ideal situation. Would stay here again once the bar situation is corrected.

The picture are not of these rooms. The carpet is very old and nasty. My pillow.case had lipstick on it and was not mine. The bathroom ceilings has rust spots from leaks probably halfway repaired. Possibleold on curtain above AC unit. Wont stay here again.

Staff was very nice. Elevator & halls were hot & smelled bad. Room was not clean….stains all over sofa, carpet beneath air conditioner was saturated & wall looked water damaged. Lights near bed went on & off randomly. Bathroom & vanity light stopped working shortly after check-in. Phone was filthy & didn’t work, so unable to call the front desk. Bucket collecting dirty water in front of elevator. Overall feel of room was grimy.

On the positive side: This hotel is the only one in the area that I could find with a mini-fridge & microwave so I appreciated that. The staff was very kind and welcoming. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to the Opryland/Gaylord every hour until 4pm, a 5 min drive. The living room area of my room was spacious & the bed was comfortable Negatives: This was probably the most run down Hyatt I have ever stayed at! There was a lot of beige/brown, popcorn ceilings, outdated decor, old gross carpets. The website pictures were much nicer than the actual room. The workout equipment in the small fitness room was dirty so I only used it once briefly. Breakfast was okay but the evening/afternoon food options were gross. The worst part was how under-staffed the hotel was. Every evening/night there was only one person taking care of everything from the front desk, the phones, the bar, and preparing food. She was great but spread way too thin and there was always a line waiting for her and the phone ringing a lot. I didn't see any security at night, it didn't feel safe. The morning staffing was pretty much the same except there was some kitchen & housekeeping staff. I would not stay there again.

The hotel itself was hot and musty, especially the halls and elevator. Needs updating! The room itself was a place to make do for the night, but the layout was awkward and the bathroom so tiny you could barely fit inside and shut the door.

This property is very old and requires updating. It is still summer in Nashville and the hallways are extremely hot. Our air conditioning in our room did not work well so it was almost as hot. The layout of the king suites are odd and the bathrooms are tiny. We used the pool area and liked it. The breakfast was also good.

Really nice room. Big couch, super big bathroom vanity. Only one drawback. The tub and toilet room was miniscule. Had to squeeze by the toilet and stand by the tub to close the door.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the location was great. There are some things in the room that need updating like the shower head. Also the only tv available to us was using your own phone and using Google cast with the home network. That should be noted in the hotel details when booking. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would visit again.

The front desk guys were very friendly and helpful. The stay overall was fine, but for a Hyatt, you could tell it needs a little updating. Close to several restaurants within walking distance, if you choose not to eat there.

Property could use some minor upgrades. Nothing to serious. I LOVED the staff. Every single one. They were beyond nice. They helped and made sure we knew we had safe options to travel to downtown. They were kind and great. I did have a few words about housekeeping. Other than we will be staying at this hotel every time we come down. I have never felt safer at a hotel or property than this one in a town I didn’t know.

We tried to call in way in 3 separate times with no answer. Upon arrival no one still was at front desk and when finally located someone to assist us we were shushed as she was on her cell phone. We were asked to then verify payment with no greeting or explanation of property- we had to ask questions to get this basic information. Checking out Monday we had to search out a receptionist again to print out itemized bill. Breakfast was out of food by 9 am with full lounge of people waiting for restock. No one was at full bar working to take orders. The hotel lobby is horribly dirty - when we came back Saturday evening food traces on tables and floor from breakfast showed nothing had been cleaned since the morning. Staff overall seemed annoyed when had to respond to patrons. We were shocked by the quality of this hotel as being very familiar with Hyatt, this particular location is more like a Super 8 motel. We should have stayed at the Hampton next door or nearby Fairfield Inn.

Location & transportation availability was excellent. Friendliness & willingness to assist first time Nashville visitors was great with the exception of one of staff members. This particular male was very unwilling to assist in any way. Chad & other staff were great.

Location & transportation availability was excellent. Friendliness & willingness to assist first time Nashville visitors was great with the exception of one of staff members. This particular male was very unwilling to assist in any way. Chad & other staff were great.

I travel almost every week so when I write a review it’s generally because of something highly unusual, good or bad. My chief complaint and the reason for the lower rating for this property is the management. They had one guy, Chad, doing front desk, bartending, cooking the small meals and driving shuttle-all on the same shift. Chad was friendly and great but I watched people wait 20 minutes to check in while he was tending bar and cooking. I saw minimal staff doing multiple jobs which tells me management isn’t doing their job. If you don’t have enough staff, then management should be pitching in to help. The room was older design but comfortable enough for a night or two. The elevators hadn’t been vacuumed in days and were dirty. The bright spot was Chad who was fantastic.

The hotel appeared nice at first glance. It was not the worst we have stayed in, but definitely not the best. The staffing for the hotel was awful. As it turns out, it sounds like an ongoing issue. Saturday morning breakfast was a disaster. The same poor man was working breakfast all by himself, guests were rude and the front desk person was less than helpful. She just came into the breakfast area to tell the other worker everything that was out and did nothing to pitch in and help. When asked about coffee being out she simply responded that she could not leave the desk. We then saw the same man from breakfast still working after 11 pm that same night, running around doing things around the hotel. We love the Nashville area but can't say that we will stay here again or would I recommend it. Great stay! Area mostly ok, did have trouble 1st night with vandals in the area, thankfully not our car. No other trouble. Hotel and police responded quickly and appropriately. Room clean and spacious, beds a bit too firm, loved the pull out couch for larger family, small kitchenette…wish it also had a microwave. Question how well the mini fridge worked- either half frozen or just cold- no in between. Bathroom/shower area a bit small but functional-GREAT water pressure, showers were so nice, didn’t have time to report but our door handle to bathroom was weird (handle had to lift way up to open door, but completly functional). pool a bit small for hotel size- got quite busy at times. Breakfast was good, great choices, seating area got very busy most mornings. Did not use shuttle service. Staff was superb! Super friendly, personable. Deedee was our favorite, remembered us after the first night and always quick to greet and ask about our day!

Nice clean hotel with great breakfast with many choices it has gym and seasonal swimming pool which is open in June it’s 20 min car drive to Nashville center. And 5 min drive to Opry place. They charge 8$ parking fee and they have plants parking spots

Must read before booking!!!! The hotel its self wasn’t bad. The bed and pillows weren’t great but overall the hotel was nice. With that being said…. I’ll never stay there again. We stayed on a Saturday night and checked out Sunday morning. When we walked outside I noticed some glass laying in the parking lot next to a car, their window was busted out. Luckily my truck wasn’t broken into, but when we was leaving we counted 11 or 12 vehicles that were broken into. All by breaking out a window!! They require you to pay $8 a night to park there and have no security, I didn’t even see a camera outside. Save yourself and your car and stay somewhere else!!

Excellent location to The Opry and also Downtown. The room was really clean although bathroom very small. Shower had no power behind it. The staff go out of their way to help you. Are very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Breakfast is basic but sets you up for the day. We would definitely use this hotel again.

We enjoyed our stay, however we did not enjoy the Free Breakfast......we did not complain to the staff because after all it was free. You get what you pay for is the old saying. Should we return to Nashville we would choose this hotel again despite the breakfast. Also, no umbrellas at the pool for shade

This motel was beyond my expectations. Super friendly efficient staff. The fastest check-in process ever. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet with and awesome shower (great water pressure & heat)! The breakfast buffet was delicious (loved the fruit & berries).

Breakfast was big and had a lot of variety etc but later in the morning it had definitely sat for a while. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Close to Grand Ole Opry. Easy access to roads - once you find the parking lot. There is a charge for parking. Nice size rooms.

The breakfast staff are rude , not helpful ……it was 9 20am on the first morning we arrived for breakfast at 9am chose what we wanted then went back to get more orange juice at 9 20 am……I asked the person who was obviously packing things away , the orange juice had already been placed on a trolley……I asked for more orange …… I was told it was too late and she had a job to do !!! Clearing things away ……Many people were complaining , even the coffee machine was dry and no bread for toast ,…….

From check-in until check-out, the staff were super attentive and accommodating. Close to where we wanted to be, the shuttle was great, and the breakfast was the best spread I have seen in a long time in a hotel! The food was fresh and hot. We will definitely stay there again!

A couple of staffers seemed to be wandering & not working. We had some questions & we got conflicting answers. The breakfast items looked delicious every morning. However, the items that should have been heated, were cold! Also, an airport shuttle would have been great!

Advertising a bar and restaurant… Theresa very small bar area and there is no restaurant! The breakfast buffet had a great selection. The area you eat in is dirty, nobody cleaned the carpet floors where people ate and there were crumbs and food all over the floor. The front desk fuel could have cleaned up after breakfast but chose a to sit on her phone instead.

The area for my stay was amazing and breakfast was sub par. Unfortunately, my bed was infested with bedbugs. The hotel did offer me another room, but my stay was ruined from that moment on. The staff didn’t comp my stay, because it was booked through a 3rd party.

They are updating the rooms and they are looking very beautiful. Clean rooms with lots of space. Breakfast was delicious and the pool was fun during the heat wave Nashville had while we were there. Overall very satisfied with the entire stay. Recommend if you are in the Nashville area.

When we checked in, One of the first things we ask was about the pool. It was dirty green and they said it would be open the next morning. Well, it was still green and bottom of pool was dirty like it had not been vacuumed. The remainder of the weekend, the gate had a lock on it. We ask every morning about pool and got the same reason for the dirty pool. (Needed shock). Then when we were checking out, one of the clerks told us the pump had been broken all week. The main reason for my trip was to relax by the pool and that did not happen. I would have went to another motel that had a pool, if I had been informed of the problem.

The hotel was in the midst of a remodel during my stay, which significantly impacted the experience. There was a noticeable smell from the off-gassing of new carpeting, and the elevator was torn up and clearly under renovation. On the positive side, my room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the water pressure was excellent. The breakfast was adequate, and the staff was friendly and helpful. My biggest issue was the advertised FREE shuttle service. The hotel website stated that the shuttle runs a small loop to Opryland Resort and the mall, and this was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel. However, I discovered that the shuttle does not operate on Sundays or Mondays. This information was not disclosed anywhere on the website when I booked. I specifically needed transportation to Opryland Resort on both Sunday and Monday, so the lack of shuttle service created a significant inconvenience and additional expense. If the shuttle schedule had been clearly disclosed on the website, I would have chosen a different hotel. Overall, the staff and room were good, but the ongoing remodel and, especially, the undisclosed shuttle restrictions made the stay much less convenient than expected.

Very reasonable rate. However, due to renovations going on, there were some issues: they loss power and as a result the elevators didnt work one night. Also, there was no hot water the next day. All the staff were very helpful!
