Hampton Inn Bellevue / Nashville-I-40 West

We chose this hotel over other hotels in the area because of the outdoor pool. When we got there the pool was full of algae and not usable for the entire stay. We talked to the front desk and were told a manager would contact us to see if they could compensate us in some way. They never called back. Sad since we had stayed at this hotel many times in the past. I would avoid this hotel if possible!

The pool was closed due to unknown reasons however, the pool was full of water and green, not very pleasing to see while eating breakfast. The breakfast was the worse Hilton/Hampton inn breakfast I’ve ever seen, no whole milk, not much of a breakfast options, the bowl of bananas were so rotten, banana juices were very evident. Breakfast was so bad, we opted out for day 2. Our shower head was not movable and to disengage the shower option button took extreme measures to manipulate. Out PTAC room AC unit would not stay running when fan selector was off auto placed into HIGH speed, didn’t run, set temperature to 66 and unit slammed on/off repeatedly. We will never stay at the facility again and if asked by ANYONE, I’ll say don’t stay there and here are the reasons why. Finally, we returned Saturday evening around 8;30pm finding 4 moving Bob-trucks along with up-truck trailer combo taking up 20 to 25 guest parking spaces.

⭐ 1/5 — Hilton or HELLton? You decide. Checked into the Hilton expecting a little bit of luxury… instead, I think I accidentally booked a room on the set of a post-apocalyptic movie. First impression? Someone’s car window looked like it lost a bar fight. Glass glittering all over the parking lot — very festive, if you're into urban decay aesthetics. Tried to take the elevator, but only one worked. The other must’ve retired early. So we played a fun game of “Elevator Roulette” every time we wanted to go anywhere. Made it to the second floor where the hallway A/C decided to quit life. It was hotter than a Florida summer in a sauna wearing a parka. Got to our room and thought, “Finally, peace!” …Wrong. The A/C unit inside the room sounds like a 747 preparing for takeoff. I'm pretty sure it's trying to achieve flight. Tried to shower the stress away, but somehow the bathroom floods like a busted aquarium and the water goes on a magical journey — through the bathroom, across the room, and almost into the hallway. I guess it's part of the Hilton waterpark experience? And the bed? Imagine a slab of concrete wrapped in a sheet. I’ve had softer naps on a pile of bricks. Hilton, if this is your version of “firm support,” I think I need a chiropractor. Overall, 10/10 would recommend… if you’re into mystery puddles, airport soundtracks, and beds that double as medieval torture devices.

Older, but the bed was comfortable and the room was nice. All ruined by horrible breakfast. Waited 15 minutes for cold sausage gravy (with many others), dark roast coffee was empty, rotten bananas, cold eggs, while lady was just looking at her cell phone in the kitchen. Ice machine on our floor was broken, and one elevator was out. For $220 plus a night.

Was not informed regarding the room service policy and we had not traveled in several years so when we returned for the evening we had no clean replacement towels and toilet tissue. Also was not informed regarding the automatic $50 incidental charge. Was only told a credit card was needed in case we “used” anything. The facility is obviously many years old needs to be updated. One elevator was out of order the 2 nights of our stay and there was a water leak in ice machine room.

Metal bathtubs that give under your feet. Only 3 baggage carts. The rooms are showing wear. The staff was personable. The breakfast was adequate. This was a one time trip and stay in the area.

Everything was great - Breakfast, pool, location, and we could bring our dog, Lucy, who loved it. But, t did seem only one elevator was working.

When we got there the pool was closed and didn’t open til the next day. Easy check in, just had trouble getting keys to our room due to the internet being down. Internet didn’t work for 2 days while we were there. We stayed from Wednesday til Sunday and the breakfast was horrible every day. The man working in the kitchen uniform was always dirty and always had to ask for more breakfast to be put out because we had a team of softball players and there families staying and there was never enough breakfast. Was by far the worst Hampton I have ever stayed in because they are my favorite and this one was disappointing!

Needs updating! No AC in the halls. Elevator had a strange smell. Several things in our room didn’t work- tv, bathroom light, no toilet paper holder in the bathroom.

We were given room 415 upon check in and walked in to a noticeable musty smell snd immediately saw mold. It was everywhere. Growing on the chair, all over the air conditioner, the bathroom walls, shower and tub. Literally everywhere. It was like a nightmare. One of the beds were partially made and the precious guests keys were still laying on the table. My husband went to the receptionist to show her the mold and get a new room. She was very kind, apologetic and took us to look at 8 other rooms on multiple floors before we found one without mold. That was on the 2nd floor. So we settled for that room even though it was dirty with melted chocolate all in the floor and on the side of the bed. Also noticed that the housekeeper re packaged up and recycled a previously used bar of soap on the counter. It was still wet in the box. Towels were dirty with blood and other brown poop looking stains. I couldn't believe it. Especially with this being a Hampton inn. We had just traveled the whole country, from California to Tennessee as we are military and are moving on orders. We have stayed at 11 different hotels on this trip and have NEVER experienced or seen what we saw this hotel. It was actually scary. The pool was full of algae and very nasty also. The following morning my husband went to speak to the operations manager, alex and told her everything, and she thought a $40 comp was suitable for this absolutely unacceptable mess.

Convenient The bathroom had mildew on the ceiling, stains on the wallpaper and the air vent was filthy. Room was ok otherwise Breakfast was messy and we had to continuously wait for items to be replenished. They did come right away to unclog our toilet

We felt the room was not exactly the cleanest. Spots on carpet, bathroom and entry floor not clean. Got my white footies very black. Service staff kind.

There was a standard breakfast, although things seemed to be out all the time. The cleanliness was horrible, the bathroom had maybe mold on the ceiling and around the tub that was easily coming off on a wet washcloth. The floor had stuff on it that a broom or vacuum could have easily gotten.

Very disappointed with this facility. The inside smells bad and our room smelled like petroleum oil. We started to get sick from the smell. We called the front desk and they changed our room. It was dirty from the walls to the lamps not being dusted for a while. The shower was disgusting and the water got on the floor. The bedsheets also smelled weird. I don’t recommend you spending your money at this facility

I have stayed at many Hampton Inns over the years and this was not up to standards. The hotel and rooms were very dated and the room was dirty, moldy, and gross. There was “patchwork” of paint to cover up blemishes on the walls. Someone’s car was broken into and their window was smashed. Made us choose not to park around back. The only positive was friendly staff when we did interact with them.

Room did not seem very clean. Bed was uncomfortable and there was no seating other than the bed.

The carpet appers to ve very dirty. There soap dispenser in the shower did not work and the conditionerdispenser was broken off the wall and sitting in the tub. I have report this to the desk 3 different times. There was no housekeeping in my room the entire time I was there. The so called breakfast was not worth eating

Hampton has never let me down until today. Sheet on bed was stained nasty. Whole room is musty and damp, probably because fan in bathroom is broke. Dirty spots around tub are disgusting.

Nice building just needs up grades

Wi-fi doesn’t work in parts of the building.

I couldn’t close the curtains all the way— no problem particularly on the third floor, but there was light in the room all night, which made sleeping difficult for me.

Air conditioning didn’t work in hallway and room was extremely humid. Mattress sunk in the middle.

Had some noise one night right outside my room.

This was our third stay at this hotel and we have noticed a decline since our first stay in 2023. First and foremost, the front desk staff is always kind and helpful, especially Kelly. Now onto the rest…room service is every other day, which is fine. But on the day we were supposed to get room service, they changed the towels and the garbages and that was it. Beds and bathroom left untouched. Maybe they are having staffing issues, but if so, nothing was said. Our room had broken lamp shades, issues with sound coming from the air conditioner (bad internal fan?), a loud pump sound from the bathroom, and the walls are very thin. Our room was by the elevator and we heard every time the elevator arrived on the floor. We did ask to switch rooms, but the hotel was sold out, so we completely understood that it wasn’t an option. This hotel isn’t the worst we have stayed in, but we feel like the decline in care of the hotel and room service needs to be pointed out. Newer hotels have been built in this area since our first stay and we will be exploring them going forward.

Overall it was a good stay. Two reasons I would not return were the terribly soft/unsupportive mattress and the bathroom had a less than pleasant order, although it appeared clean. Plumbing issues?

The room was humid and hot. The AC didn’t work well and concierge didn’t seem to care. They were not friendly. Disappointing. We couldn’t leave fast enough. After paying the amount of money we did in the rooms, I would have expected at least an AC that keeps the room cool.

Property was sufficient for our needs. Kind of dated, but felt clean. Breakfast was good except no OJ(only other juice). The wall air conditioner was just enough noise that you couldn’t hear the neighbors. When our fire alarm chirped staff was on it within minutes. Area is nice.

Stay was fine. Front desk helpful. But I feel like I wasted my money. I came to hotel due to electricity out in my house. I had important reports to get done for work. Wi-Fi never worked in my room. Hotel staff tried their best to assist. We tried on 2 computers! Every time I would come upstairs to my room, I was disconnected. My reports never got done. They were due that night. I’ve never had a problem with Hilton honors before. Unfortunately, the extra $20 to stay somewhere else would have been worth it for me to get my work done.

Great room for disabled people if you have mobility problems. If you have menopause, I spent 30 mins trying to get the room to cool down, IYKYK. The front desk host was AMAZING! She kept her cool on a hot Sunday night when customers were chewing her out circumstances that were out of her control. The key system for the doors were not working and people were giving her a hard time over it. She had been running up 4 flights of stairs all weekend helping people in their rooms. Management had not assisted her over the weekend because she was the only one there and the issue had not been resolved. She never said a bad word about her employer In front of me. Professional the entire time. Top notch employee. On the other hand, I was held hostage in my room because I didn’t have a key and couldn’t move freely around the hotel. I had to stay an extra day because the key situation wasn’t fixed for me to use the coin laundry. I have cats traveling with me. Couldn’t leave my door ajar and I needed to wash their bedding before traveling again. The key situation should have been resolved first thing Monday morning. Still not fixed at 12:30pm on Monday. I can’t even get ice for my room and I am not the type of person to call the front desk just because I want ice. I am sure they have a hotel to operate.

I had to wait 15 minutes just to check in. Upon arrival at the room, the key didn’t work—staff mentioned there was a technical issue with it. Once inside, the room was clearly not cleaned properly and had a very unpleasant smell. I’m managing to get through the night, but overall, this was a frustrating and uncomfortable experience. I would not recommend this hotel to others.

amazing bed and room, just wish the staff was a touch more helpful. I was in town for a run and it happened to work out that i would be getting back to the room shortly before checkout (under 15 mins). I asked if i could get a late check out, or even just an extra 30 mins and was told no. Fine, i get they have a tight turn around. I rushed, checked out at 11 sharp and headed to my next stop--where i discovered i had left some needed items in the room in my haste. I called, and asked if i could get them later when i would be through the area again and was told nothing had been found. They weren't in my bag, and i had used at least one item in the haste so i know they were there...so either they just tossed it all out or were unwilling to check the lost and found. either way, it would have been much easier if they had just been willing to give me a few extra minutes!

When I arrived to check in, I was told that they didn't have a reservation for me. When I gave them the confirmation number, they changed tunes and said that Expedia had canceled my reservation....which was STILL showing up on my end. They told me they did happen to have a room available but charged me FORTY FIVE dollars more than the Expedia confirmation stated. The desk clerk proceeded to berate me for booking with Expedia instead of through the Hilton Honors website. It was just a tactic to get more money. The "hot" breakfast was cold. Not even room temperature. It was completely cold. I cannot recommend this property at all.

The front desk manager was very friendly and gotnus checked in, in under 3 minutes. We needed extra pillows later in the evening and he quickly accommodated.

If you’re traveling with family, especially two little ones like we were, I HIGHLY recommend this hotel. My family and I were traveling for several hours and needed a last minute place to stay. Thankfully I found Hampton Inn and was so glad I did. The minute we walked in we were greeted with a friendly and welcoming face. The check in process was so easy - a huge plus when you’ve been on the road for hours and are ready to call it a night. The room was clean and cool (not stuffy like most hotels waiting for guests to turn on the ac); bathroom was clean and the beds were so comfortable. It was also very quiet and finally the number of close options for eating or getting something delivered was also a huge plus. Last but not least it was in a safe location, providing additional peace of mind and comfort. I’ll definitely be staying at Hampton Inn again in the future!

First - the good part: At check-in, the attendant could not find us in their system. I called Expedia 4 times and they hung up on me 2 of those 4 times before, the attendant discovered that we had been booked for the following day. He was very concerned about us and extremely helpful as was his supervisor. It took about 30 minutes before we actually were able to check in. Now, the not so good part: The lobby and room were not clean. The carpets did not appear to have been vacuumed and the property as a whole needs updating. My husband ate breakfast at the hotel and advised me NOT to as he felt the food was most disappointing. And to end on a good note: The size of the room was great and the AC worked very well.

The hotel could not provide ANY key cards that worked. Guests had to be escorted to their rooms by the front desk staff, so they could unlock the door with their master. They did their best without any apparent help from the company. Totally unacceptable.

I will never stay at your hotel again, and I would never recommend it to anyone. Your front desk agent was left all alone to deal with your guests. She was not capable of handling everyone on her own. We stayed at your hotel, because my father is in the hospital with cancer we thought it would be nicer than some of the ones in the surrounding areas of the hospital. The shower didn’t work, the TV did not work. Jessica at the front desk asked if we wanted to switch rooms and when I said yes we did she told me what do you want me to do? We are fully booked. I was very confused by that. Jessica told me that she would leave a note for the manager in the morning and Told me that I would need to wait till the morning to speak with DJ the manager. There is nothing she could do. When I spoke with DJ the next morning he told me that she had not told him anything there were no notes even though she told me she would text him right then. So who’s telling the truth? I’m very frustrated and you need to know the kind of management that you have running this establishment. I spoke with other guests that were very unhappy as well. Your Internet did not work keys that were made did not work at the rooms. DJ simply did not seem to care. I asked him for a refund because my daughter-in-law is the one that got us this room so we could get some rest $233. We recently stayed at a Days Inn for $69 a night. Everything worked great at that hotel and they were kind.

Convenient

Just off the freeway, visible from the exit, sure makes a difference especially after a very long day of travel and in the dark.

Nice stay, the motel is easy to access off the interstate, convenient to restaurants and shopping. It suited our needs.

Stayed at this property in the past. It's clean, safe, convenient and right off the Interstate.

The location was excellent for accessibility of all the locations I required for this visit. Dining options were close and convenient. Overall this location covered all my needs. The staff were professional and helpful. I highly recommend this location.

Very nice staff clean and quiet rooms. Close enough for Nashville experience but far enough away you don’t have to worry about too much traffic at night.

It's not easy to find its driveway due to the trees around.

Very convenient to alot of shopping and restaurants. We actually walked over to a nearby place to eat. A little dangerous due to no sidewalks, but hey there hasnt always been sidewalks, right? Easy accessibility back onto interstate. Restful night sleep in a good, comfortable bed. Stayed here several times before and definitely will be back.

Room was clean and the breakfast had a nice spread. It was very close to soccer fields that we needed to be at. A lot of options for restaurants around it.

Average hotel. Lobby smelled like cigarettes when we checked in. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Water pressure in shower was amazing. Over priced but that's Nashville! Front desk attendees were very nice.

Easy on-and-off from I40, plenty of restaurants nearby (I recommend Jonathan's). Staff members at the front desk were fast and friendly. The room was a nice size, as was the bathroom. Oh, and it had the best shower - plenty of hot water and pressure. Two out of my last three stays, the hot water ran out while I was in the shower, so it's worth noting. Breakfast was OK. No yogurt, and not everything on the hot bar was hot, but the coffee was good.

Stay was nice. Only complaint was 1 waffle maker at breakfast for entire hotel?! They need at the least 3.

The staff was professional and courteous. There was a train that ran at night, which woke up my kiddos. The breakfast was delicious and hot.
