It seems this place is under renovation. There’s no signage nowhere to turn in. I drove right by it and wasted some time and gas. I think they have the right thing going forward but they need to hurry up and get done with some renovations. Only one elevator is working

My only issue with this hotel was that the main reason why I booked this hotel was for the pool and when we get there they say the pool was closed. It looked like it was closed because it was dirty why not clean it and let the guests enjoy it

Pottstown PA Best Western: quite a disappointment. Dirty pool: limey green and dirty water (leaves and other particles) . Informed about housekeeping policy when asked person at reception because we had to go to reception for another small bar of soap (3 adults, one very small soap bar): housekeeping every 3 days (we’re not informed when we made reservation or at check -in). Very poor breakfast choices: no fruits, no yogurt, scrambled powdered eggs but choice of meat or potatoes non existent (we had breakfast two days) , poor bread choices (only bagel or sandwich bread), extremely limited choice of one boxed cereal, bad coffee. Rugs in the halls were dirty during our whole stay (shredded paper and soil particles) . Cleaning staff sweeping floor in breakfast room while clients were having breakfast. We wonder if hotel is going to close.

Hallways smelled like weed, first room smelled like cigarette smoke, we asked to change rooms, 2nd room was dirty- floors were dirty, rice in cabinet with a note from a month prior saying to contact the number on the note once the next guest found the note- basically stating hotel was not thoroughly cleaned or checked, soda pop on headboard, booger on wall, bathroom vent filled with dust, huge crack in sink, trash all over the backside of the hotel- just laying out on the grass. We asked for a refund and manager refused to give a refund even with all the evidence. Terrible experience. I have never experienced something like this in all my years of booking hotels. We ended up leaving the hotel and stayed in a much nicer hotel 10 min away because we simply could not stay there. It didn’t even meet the minimum standard of being clean in my opinion. Would not recommend this hotel.

Room was absolutely filthy. The couch looked to be from about 1982 with stains just as old. The suit its self is huge full fridge stove, only bad thing was all the silverware plates and cups where absolutely filthy you could still see people’s fingerprints and lip marks on the cups . And Expedia list breakfast starts at 5 am it dose not start till 7.

DO NOT STAY HERE. THERE ARE ROACHES. We got there and noticed the sheets were dirty and there was a blood stain on the sheet. We requested a new room and that room was still dirty but better then the last room. We got breakfast in the morning and went to take our food to the room, staff stopped us and said NO FOOD IN THE ROOM DUE TO PEOPLE GETTING ROOMS DIRTY. me and my friend thought that was very odd. We checked out and when I got home I was unpacking my bag and a baby roach was in my bag!!!! I called the hotel and the general manager admitted they had roaches last month but they got an exterminator and that there was no roaches this month. He then proceeded to tell me I cannot get a refund because I did not have proof of the roach. He was very rude and pretty much told me he has a business to run. BEWARE I AM TRYING TO WARN PEOPLE LIKE US. we paid 130$ for the night to potentially have a roach infestation in our own home. Terrible hotel!!!

Just stayed one night on a road trip. Not fancy, a bit dated, but not bad and I would stay there again. Room was spacious, breakfast was pretty good. But there was a lot of noise from other guests. Not huge but I arrived really late and heard a lot of doors closing and foot steps.

Although the room was in good condition, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable, it was incredibly noisy. There were doors slamming annd squeeking all night. There was what sounded like a child running back-and-forth above our room most of the night. The fire alarm went off at 4:20 in the morning down the hall - for awhile! and then housekeeping decided to walk into our room at 8:00.. in the morning!!! startling and waking us both up. When does house keeping come in at 8 am when you haven’t even checked out yet?!? Then we waiting 35 minutes for someone to come check us out!!!!

The room was like ‘lipstick on a pig’ - they wanted to make it look nice but it really wasn’t and left much to be desired. A terrible night’s sleep due to constant noise within the hotel ALL NIGHT - from other guests, elevator, and I don’t know what else. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone ever.

The bathroom was cramped, all 3 dispensers in the shower were empty. When asked, they did provide additional mini soaps. However, when asked, they could not provide extra pillows. Lights pointed directly at the windows and the space around the room door let in constant light to the room. Found stains under the mattress protector. Will not be returning for future visits when in the area again.

Me and my son was sleeping when our door open by a customer. The desk clerk said that the guest had the wrong room, but how was the customer was able to unlock the door? If I did not have the top latch in place the customer or anyone would have been able to enter.

I had someone enter my room with their own key without knocking. When I called the front desk they asked if I was checking out that day, I said yes but,check out is in 4 hours, why is someone coming into my room?There was no answer;to the question! Stay else where because that is an easy way to get robbed of your belongings.

Pros: the gentleman that was working nights is super helpful and respectfully. Overall, a very professional staff member. Cons: My first room was horrible. The bathroom was filthy and there was a massive stain on the bed sheet along with multiple stains on the covers of which had multiple holes. I made the front counter know and was immediately provided with another room (upgraded). The new room appeared to have a somewhat clean bed but most of the bath towels were all stained yellow. The facility overall is in very poor condition; from the questionable elevators (missing an inspection sticker) to the unhygienic restrooms.

Not a great start to our stay when the room we were first given was already occupied. How does that happen? They were very quick to remedy the situation and give us a new room. The bathroom was incredibly small. The door would not open all the way because of where the toilet was.

This is one of the better place to stay when visiting Pottstown. The staff is friendly the rooms are comfortable and you have easy acces to RT 422 valley forge is twenty minutes away and dorney park is a short drive up RT 100

Clean room, attendant staff, pretty good breakfast. Conveniently located.The only thing that was a little concerning was a group of people hanging outside the hotel @ 3 o'clock in the morning when I was putting my luggage in the car.I asked the guy behind the desk,no real response, I grew up in a big city and been around some unsavory characters so it didn't bother me however it just seemed weird.

The rooms were very nice and the grounds were welcoming. The bed was SO comfortable. The continental breakfast was wonderful ( get there early) and the front desk people were very nice and helpful. Hotel was centrally located to many attractions and locations. Will definitely return.

I have never stayed at a more disgusting and poorly run hotel. First review ever for a reason. No hot water for showers, broken ac in room, sticky floors, dirty towels. I asked for maintenance for 2 days and no one ever came and my room was non refundable. The hotel owners and daughter hung out and chatted out loud while the guests were at breakfast in the lounge area. It was like they enjoyed watching over their personal toilet. Parking lot had weeds knee high growing around cars. Don't go!

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and adequate. The food at the breakfast could be improved. The eggs were not cooked completely and I feel they could have some better choices. I also noted that the trim in the corridors and common areas needed some repairs and paint. overall I would rate it OK.

The only good thing about our stay was the bed - comfortable and soft sheets. Breakfast was gross. Coffee tasted burnt, no creamer options. Muffin tasted old.
