Very kind staff- helped us get some breakfast for the road when we had to leave super early. Pool was very temperate and great way to stretch out after a long road trip. would stay here again!

I own my own pool. I went to a hotel in the past where I wish I had my pool testing strips. I brought them w me. I was there w my granddaughter. She wanted to go swimming when we got there July 17-20, 2025. The water in the pool was clear and sparkling. When I tested it however, the pH was really low and there was no chlorine in the water. I made sure my granddaughter showered after swimming. The same thing happened the next day, the pH even lower. The last night we were there, when we walked into the pool area, it smelled like fish. I tested the pool again and it was worse than the previous two day. luckily she hasn't gotten sick from it.

Everything was amazing! Room was exceptionally clean. Everything was modern and new. Staff was amazing, especially Joy. Breakfast was good, served both hot and cold daily. The pool was a bit cold, but clean and had lengthy hours. I would definitely stay here again.

Electric vehicle charger on site was not active and would cost $30 to activate

They advertise a bar onsite but they do not have it available. It physically exists but it’s not staffed or stocked. Therefore, I also thought there would be a small bar menu but there is not. There is also no “snack shop” onsite. There is 1 cooler that is mostly empty, but fortunately it had some bottled waters. It just wasn’t as nice as I had expected given their description online.

The hotel room was very comfortable and spacious. It was also very clean. I do wish the indoor pool was a bit warmer. The best part about our experience at this hotel was Joy who checked us in and was super friendly, kind and helpful. She always acknowledged us every time she saw us and was very attentive. Thank you Joy!! I will definitely stay here again!

The hotel is new and very clean. Pet friendly which is great and breakfast was a decent selection. The pool was a great temperature.

The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Please replace the missing 10 and 20 lb. dumbbells in the Fitness Center and add a recumbent bike.

Ok. Very narrow spaces for parking

The room was ok. Food (breakfast muffins) were left on a plate in the refrigerator. Room just did not seem extremely clean. Bed was ok. Maybe the staff just overlooked it, but it turned me off on what else might have been overlooked. Usually not that concerned, but this bothered now.

Our room was clean and quiet with a comfortable bed. The breakfast was better than expected. Will not hesitate to stay again in the future.

The La Quinta Inn in Coralville is super clean and looks new. The staff was helpful with any questions we had. We would stay here again.

First room they assigned was never cleaned from previous occupancies. Assigned new room right away. Second room was spacious and clean. Good breakfast in the morning. Convenient location just off the freeway.

Facilities and room are updated. Bed was horrific and killed my back. No smart TVS to watch my own shows. The WIFI was horrible and made my stay very frustrating.

New modern hotel! Great design, spacious room. The bathroom had a rain shower which was super fun. Everything was super clean. Definitely looking forward to staying here again. Breakfast had gluten free and dairy free options which my wife enjoyed. Only thing lacking was the coffee - major room for improvement here.

Was clean but the you could hear the TV and gentleman coughing in the connecting room after it was already lights out for us. Don’t think he had the volume up excess.

Wonderful shower, But uncomfortable bed, placed awkwardly in the room so close to one wall that it was hard to get around it with the heater in the way. No room clock.

Do not stay at this hotel! We were awaken by a loud popping sound that occurred at various intervals throughout the night, so we couldn\'t figure out where it was coming from. The next morning, I asked the hotel manager about it and several other people in the lobby mentioned it happened in their room too. The manager knew about it and said the sound was from the room refrigerators and it was a mechanism to "keep from freezing." There was nothing she could do about it, but said that unplugging the fridge might have helped. Wish I knew about this severe inconvenience before booking my room.

The room was very nice and spacious.

We had a problem that required us to stay past the normal check out time. The staff was EXTREMELY gracious, allowing us to stay later than normal without any extra charge. I am very happy with their kindness, and would encourage others to use this hotel.

We submitted online check as prompted by la Quinta / Wyndham text…got confirmation number and I noted we would be late arrival at 1:30 AM. When we arrived the desk staff said they don’t do online check in and don’t get that information and since they did their room audit already I would have to rebook at almost double the price with no acknowledgment with what would happen to the first payment I made. We had to sleep in our car with our two kids.

The manager tried to charge me a pric "smoking fee" when I went to check in to the hotel after pre paying online, he yelled at me and told me that was the fee and was very rude to me. I was exhausted after a long business trip and figured that La Quinta would be a decent place to stay for the evening but Jay Patel made sure he ruined that for me. My room was only $99 and I was only staying for one night, his name was Jay Patel, I then tried to cancel the room with Hotels.com and was told that Jay Patel told them since I was attempting to get a refund after the check in time (I booked the room AFTER the check in time also) that he would not give me a refund for the room. I also asked another hotel guest I saw how much they paid for the "smoking fee" (which is actually called an incidental fee) and the other hotel guest I talked to told me they were charged only $75 for the fee. I feel I was discriminated against based on my race and I dont think the smoking fee or incidental fee should be more expensive than the room charge, this is just a La Quinta Inn not a 5 star luxury hotel. I dont think it was fair for Jay Patel be rude to me, yell at me and attempt to charge me $200 extra dollars for a "smoking fee", my one night stay was only $99 and was already paid in full before my arrival. I did not even check in to the hotel after this incident because Jay Patel was very hostile, rude and extremely unfriendly, as a solo female traveler I did not feel safe, I was taken advantage of

Front desk worker was very helpful and accommodating to our late check-in.

The employees are inexperienced and although the stay itself was okay, aside from paper thin walls, the tv next door kept me up all night. The day after my stay I got a phone call from the manager demanding a credit card number for incidentals. I was driving and offered to call me back but he kept demanding the last 4 digits of an expedia card I do not have and threatened to put a hold on my expedia account? I nights on the road and as a single female traveling alone. I was terrified of how difficult this man could possibly make it for me to find a room. I would stay somewhere else, avoid the drama. I imagine he is angry the employees do not know their jobs.

The hotel General Manager was very rude upon check in and yelled and was pointing his finger in my face because he was upset at the fact that I didn't understand his english. He had a very strong accent. He threatened me and tried to make me leave and stated that I couldn't stay on his property anymore, until my husband who had lighter skin than me, came in and talked to him. He also threatened that If I left a bad review I would be blocked from staying there. I will never stay there again.

Staff was very professional and had a fun sense of humor. I appreciated their friendliness. Place was beautiful and very clean. I recommend this place and will definitely stay again when visiting family in Iowa.

Nice place overall but very hard to sleep as a train comes by a couple of times during the overnight hours and blows its horn. Also some other strange sounds randomly through the night we couldn’t quite figure out what it was.

This is a new property. The room was spacious and clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. There was a nice pool and breakfast area. The location is convenient to shopping, sports, and restaurants. Definitely a great place for the rate. Will return.

Beautiful hotel with excellent amenities and customer service. Located in a great central location near the mall and numerous food options.

Had appointments for my Granddaughter at the University Clinic and booked the suite with 2 TV's. Price was good. The sitting area was nice to have so we could spread out. Parking was nice, area was close to the clinic and tons of my favorite stores and restaurants right across the street. Would definitely book again. Staff was great and hotel was very clean. There seemed to be someone cleaning every time was walked through the lobby. If you are from out of town wondering which hotel to book, you won't be disappointed here!

This hotel is easy to get to from the interstate. Only minutes from shopping and eating. 5 minutes to college. Hotel clean and spacious. Newer. Staff very nice and helpful. Breakfast adequate. Was pleased

BWCoralville is a new, clean and well-maintained property that is very easily accessible to many dining and shopping options.

This hotel is in excellent condition, and was VERY clean when we stayed overnight recently. Really good hot breakfast options (no additional charge). Staff was excellent on both ends - checking in and checking out.

The dining options were below standard. Hash browns were undercooked and the coffee was weak. The waffle station was the only good option.

Nice new hotel at an excellent price. Bed was good. Breakfast was nice, but coffee was horrible. Tastes like dish water. The room coffee packets were just as bad. For a hotel close to the highway attracting travellers, they need to up their coffee game.

Everything was fine except for the breakfast. Eggs were dry; I couldn't eat them. Sausage undercooked. I had a bagel. I love coffee, but not this coffee, left without taking any for the road.

Staff was friendly and accommodating and the continental breakfast had a variety of breakfast items that remained available for the duration of the noted times.

Quiet motel. Good shower. Water saving toilet was good. Chairs were uncomfortable. Breakfast was poor. Coffee and eggs were gone when went to eat at 7 am.
