Hotel heeft een goeie ligging maar is verder heel slecht. Kamers hebben hele slechte airco. Koelt Bijna niet en als je er wat van zegt word je weggepoeierd. Geen zwembad en bijna niks in de kamer behalve een bed. Dit hotel is 2 sterren waard zeker geen 4

Das Zimmer war sauber, das dritte Bett war jedoch nur eine bessere Liege. Teile des Personals war sehr freundlich und andere nicht. Das Zimmer ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber dennoch schön, gepflegt und praktisch eingerichtet. Gewisse Gebäcke des Frühstücks waren sehr hart und trocken. Die Parkplatz-Situation ist gut, es gibt direkt vor dem Hotel Plätze und eine Hoteleigene Tiefgarage. Die Lage ist hervorragend, direkt am Sakanderbergsquare im Zentrum.

Hotel molto bello, personale gentile ma la SPA non era attiva, le stanze un po’ fredde e sopratutto la colazione molto povera che per un 5 stelle non dovrebbe essere.

Dessverre verken Baseng eller trenings sal virket. Det er stor minus. Også lyd isolert rom??? No no, bare lureri. Selv om i 11 ets bodde, alt fra gaten som i samme etasje. Der bygges ny del nå, kun den nye blir god lyd isolert

In a 4 star hotel like this, you expect certain standards which hotel will have but this place has crossed all limits. I had issue with cooling in the room, the technician visited twice, during the second time when technician was already there in room, a lady from reception walks in the room without basic courtesy of knocking before entering asks the technician about the issue and tells me that its fine, I asked her that its not fine since I have been in the room for quite a while now and I can't sleep like this to which she rudely says-"We can't do anything, all our rooms have same AC" and walks off the room and even asking the technician to leave. They don't know how to actually attend their guests at all. During the breakfast, staff doesn't know how to greet, all of them looked like they don't want to serve, and are just standing there for the heck of it. I asked for sliced bread, the guy there said there is loaf, you can cut it. The worst ever experience yet, there are no amenities, apparently everything is "under-construction". This should be categorised as 2 star and not 4 star.

Ótima localização. Contudo, quarto que fiquei tem área muito pequena para banho, sendo impossível não molhar todo o banheiro. Quarto antigo, mas localização melhor impossível. Em frente à praça central. Hotel histórico porque era o principal reduto estrangeiro na era comunista. Na visita ao Banker há referências ao hotel. Há falha no site do hotéis.com! Nas fotos aparece uma Área com piscina interna. Tal piscina não existe. Havia feito a reserva nesse hotel em função disso. Me desapontei, contudo acredito que o problema seja do site, que não atualizou as imagens

Among the best located hotel in Tirana. It is on the main square, 100 metres from the public transport. Facilities - normal, had breakfast - standard. Price of dinner was reasonable.Staff was very welcoming and helpful.

The hotel is remarkably well situated right on the city's main square. It has a very impressive entrance hall, mezzanine level and dining room although the rooms themselves are much more modest. They are a good size, but the decoration and furniture are, above all, functional. It is strange that such a smart hotel offers neither tea/coffee facilities in the room nor tissues in the bathroom. The desk staff are very friendly although some of them speak and understand English with a certain difficulty.

The hotel was adequate at best definitely not what I'd expect from a four-star hotel. the room and bathroom were kind of old , the bed and pillows were uncomfortable and there is definitely no soundproofing to block put noise from any of the events that may be happening in the square below. One time the elevator got stuck in an endless loop, stranding me for minutes. The staff was friendly and helpful and the location is very central / easily walkable to a lot of different things but this is definitely not my favorite hotel.

Reception staff were great. The bar experience was not.. Too busy talking amongst themselves to ask us for our orders or to help guide us to a table. After waiting for 15 mins, looked bothered for us breaking up their conversation when we went inside to request beers that we then took out ourselves. Same for when we waited in vain for the bill. We brought back the empty beer bottles purselves. Please apologize to the 4 bar staff for the bother and breaking up their conversations.

Pros: 1) Location - right by the main square. 2) Breakfast was nice, the food and the dining room. 3) Reception area was impressive and the staff the helped with my luggage were very helpful and friendly. Cons: 1) Air con didn't work in my room. 2) Room smelt of wet carpet. 3) Staff were rude during check in. I'd stay here again purely for the location but the rooms need upgrading.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, breakfast was very good. Great value for money and the staff were very attentive. However, the big thing about the hotel is it's amazing location. Not only did our room overlook Skanderbeg Square, but the breakfast balcony did as well, and we had the added benefit of hearing the call to prayer each morning.

Ended up at the same standard: the hotel advertised everywhere "our own hotel brand new Mercedes transfers to airport foe Euro 20 or Euro 35 return - cash only to driver". Reception staff refused to confirmed that I will be picked up on return for Euro 15... just insisted to pay E 20 first leg. I booked it and ... I got a Chinese car; too late to protest or change. Huge groups... ONLY ONE COFFEE MACHINE at brekkie for 15 floors x 20 rooms each worth of customers. Bad management, poor quality rude at times staff, outdated hotel. Left after one night, although pre-paid 5 nights. Happier at a boutique non-pretentious hotel. Worst experience in more than 10 years.

TIH is a very good hotel with professional staff, very clean and well organized. I have been using the hotel for the past 30 years and have witnessed changes in ownership and management and that, in most areas, it has moved with times and improved its services. However, there are a couple of very important issues that the hotel has not addressed. 1. The most important shortcoming is that rooms with double bed have showers only (no bath) and rooms with twin beds have a both with a shower inside the bath. The problem with the former is that the shower cubicle is very small, probably 60x60 cm; very difficult to move about in it. Furthermore it only has a fixed shower head right at the top beyond reach of the guest. There is no hand shower alternative. Finally the curtains in the cubicle are only a few centimeters longer than the edge of the basin, meaning that often, the water gets out and floods the bathroom. The shower cubicles, the position of shower head and the curtains have not changed in 30 years. Surely the hotel can attempt to improve this situation. If they cannot expand the cubicle, they should at least provide a hand held shower head and longer curtains!! 2. The pillows are absolutely uncomfortable; they are hard and inflexible. The hotel can improve this aspect very easily. I hope the hotel will deal with these shortcomings and keep its excellent reputation.

Very nice and clean

Bathroom was never cleaned thoroughly, mirror was dirty when we came and never cleaned. The room was dirty and the windows had so much debris it was gross. The air conditioning didn’t work, it was so hot. I asked why it didn’t work the cleaning woman said it was always like that. Very disappointed especially because the location is wonderful but staff ( front desk man) and rooms were lazy

De twee dames bij de receptie waren onvriendelijk en betweterig wat niet kan. Dit was op vrijdag 19/07. De ramen van de hotelkamer waren vies. Geen waterkoker of kopjes in de kamer, dit is bijna bij alle hotels tegenwoordig wel te vinden. Het derde bed was onacceptabel getimmerd van hout!!! De linnen waren versleten. De kraan van de badkamer moest eerst uitgepuzzeld worden. Wat ik niet begrijp is dat ook als je met drie personen gaat dat je maar 1 key krijgt.

Çok kilolu biri sayılmam (180cm boy ve 86 kg) duş oldukça küçük ve plastik bir perde ile kapatılmıştı duş alırken üzerime yapıştıkça sakınmaya çalıştım bu seferde armatürlere öarpıp durdum. ODa eşyaları eski ve koku vardı. Umarım en kısa zamanda yeni otele geçerler

Clean and tidy

We chose this hotel for its unbeatable central location, but sadly, service and comfort did not match the setting. With the exception of one kind and attentive gentleman on the evening shift, most staff seemed indifferent and untrained in hospitality. Our trip was last-minute due to a family emergency, and I needed reliable internet for work. Instead, I was told “we’re under new management” as an excuse for poor Wi-Fi, forcing me to work in the lobby until 2 a.m. local time on confidential matters. We also booked a double room for our family of four, assuming—like anywhere else in the world—that meant appropriate beds for two adults and two minor children. Instead, the hotel claimed our 13-year-old was “not a minor” under their policy, charged extra, and gave us a room with three single beds. My husband and I had to sleep separately, and our 6-year-old had no proper bed. It’s heartbreaking that the least welcome I’ve felt in a hotel was here in my birth country. My husband remembers this hotel as the pride of Tirana; now it feels more focused on profit than on guests. The location is great, but I will not return.

Everything was perfect with the exception of Poor Air Conditioning…it looked like it was working however the whole hotel and everything else was sweaty staying in…

Perfect location for Tirana. Our room was overlooking the Christmas bazaar on the mail square. Bed was extra large and comfortable.

The front desk staff, especially the older gentleman with glasses was excellent .friendly , efficient , fast checking . Located downtown by the main attraction . Great food at restaurant . The room had a very large bed which was awesome . The buffet a bit disorganized , food was ok, WiFi very weak and inconsistance making it hard to work on line .window don’t provide full silence and you can hear the outside . Over all good

Sentralt hotell i midten av byen. God frokost, godt utvalg. Badet var litt umoderne og putene litt harde. Ellers var hotellet veldig bra. Kan anbefale å overnatte her. Vi var i 2 døgn. Tirana er ikke stort, så det holdt for oss.

The location of the hotel is the best there could be. Nice lobby area. Rooms dated and hot. When asking about getting the room cooler (there is seemingly airconditioning), they just tell you to open the window. And it doesn't help much. No wifi in my room. After constant complaints after four days they finally fixed it. No apology. The tour companies send whatsapp messages late in the evening about nex't morning's tours, so I ended up several times getting a coat over my nightgown to get a connection elsewhere in the hotel. When we asked for directions the BunkArt bus stop (11) they gave us total opposite where the bus stop was. When I told about the noisy nighttime party in a neighboring room, they just stare at you. The cleaning lady was good and male waiter in the restaurant. The rest of the staff need serious training.

The air conditioning was terrible, set on an high temperature. We had very uncomfortable sleeps both night we were there. I booked a taxi for the airport the day before leaving. Upon checking out discovered that it had not been ordered. Had to make our own arrangements.

Front desk was rude. Keeps your passport as “collateral”. Neither of the A/C in our rooms worked and when we let them know they did nothing about it. Rooms felt like saunas. Windows would not stay open to try to let some Air in. Parking was in a poorly marked garage with no working elevator. Terrible hotel and awful experience

Generally a good hotel. A little bit tired in places and missing some amenities (e.g. kettle / iron) that you would expect to find. Location very much made up for that though abd the staff were friendly and helpfull.

12th November 2024 me and my partner check in hotel at evening time about 8pm to 10pm. Receptionist was very rude, when she sea my passport, she said you are not look like British. I said what do you mean. Then she carry on and i said i am British but not white. She still now carry on and asked me where you originally from. I said bangladesh. Then she said oh poor country. She was very rude and unexpected behaviour. 2 ladies was ther. One was with glasses on and she try to stop her. But other one still now carry on. I was so disappointed. Next day talk to manager but still now get any feedback.

This was a good hotel only issue i had is that on check out they said i had a coffee when i never, i thought this was sorted out in morning, i used thier private taxi and left luggage i returned to collect and again was told i took a coffee when i didnt, bit frustrating to repeat myself as i explained in morning that i never, seems staff billed my room when it was another who took it

We waren aangenaam verrast, superleuk hotel, vriendelijk personeel, vooral Sonya. Goed ontbijt, geweldige locatie.

The staff at Reception were relatively disinterested. Didn’t even offer us a map. When we had an early morning trip, I had to push for a bottle of water to be provided for us which I was then charged for. When we were leaving, we had pre-booked a taxi through Reception but they had in fact not actually booked it and we had to take a different taxi and we’re late leaving

A very nice hotel in the core of Tirana where you can see the whole city. Reasonable rates as well.

This hotel is in the best location in the city, overlooking the central square. I had a lovely room with an amazing view of the whole city scape. The staff were friendly and efficient, and all spoke excellent english, fortunately for me.

Quattro stelle molto curato negli ambienti comuni con vista eccezionale sulla piazza più importante di Tirana. Camera elegante in cui stona un bagno che nel 2024 ha ancora la tenda della doccia che oltre ad essere inguardabile è poco funzionale perchè fa allagare il bagno. Colazione abbastanza varia ma inaccettabile che in un 4 stelle venga proposto unicamente un caffè orribile del distributore di bevande e venga invece fatto pagare come extra l’espresso.

A localização do hotel é excelente. A equipe de funcionários da recepção é prestativa, simpatica e solicita. Mas o preço do hotel não está adequado para o que oferece. É demasiado simples. Entretanto, o que mais marcou a minha estada de forma negativa, foi o café da manhã. Péssimo, poucas opções de frutas, e a partir das 9h15 minutos não fazem mais reposição dos alimentos. Para piorar, os funcionários começam a limpar o chão e arrastar as mesas as 9h30min, sendo que o término do café é as 10 horas. Foi extremamente constrangedor estar comendo e os funcionários estarem mudando a disposição das mesas, recolhendo todas as toalhas e utensilios... essas coisas precisam ser revisadas.

l'Hotel è in una posizione davvero strepitosa, nella piazza proncipale della città. Camera ampia e pulita. Il problema è la wi fi - scarsa e lenta, direi quasi inesistente. Colazione scarsa e con prodotti non di qualità Abbiamo chiesto il latte di soia e ci è stato risposto che era finito. Non hanno nessun tipo di latte alternativo per chi non può bere il latte normale. Beh in un 4 stelle non mi pare normale. Per il resto ok

Great location, good price, excellent breakfast

I stayed only one night at the start of a fantastic trip across Albania but I'll stay here in Tirana longer next time. The hotel is in a perfect location next to Skanderbeg Square with easy access to public transport as well as it's own car park. Staff are friendly and helpful throughout, my room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent, served on the second floor overlooking the Square.
