It was my first time in Sarande. Was hesitant to book the hotel after reading few rebiews, but honestly i was extremely satisfied considering the price, see view rooms are a must

Not worth it for the price, we had to pay everything extra, for parking for swimming pool

Very nice hotel with amazing view from Infinity Pool, private beach and private parking under hotel worked good. Staff where very helpfull and good. Only 2 -- - we have 2 kids and had family room, familyrooms are located just under rooftop bar / pool. 3 times a week there is a party. All familyrooms located under bar. Music played until 00.30. -Kids are not alowed even during day to rooftop pool to see the amazing view.

A fantastic holiday experience at Bougainville Bay Resort & SPA in Sarandë We have had an absolutely wonderful stay at Bougainville Bay Resort & SPA in Sarandë, and we can highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a holiday with beautiful surroundings, great food, and welcoming staff. The architecture of the hotel is truly impressive, and the entire area is beautifully designed with many lovely details. It is very convenient that you can move around the resort using both elevators and stairs, and there are many beautiful areas to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The food has been one of the highlights of our stay. The breakfast buffet is honestly one of the best we have experienced – an amazing selection of both hot and cold dishes, fresh fruit, different specialties, and some variation from day to day. The hotel restaurant, Lydia, also provided delicious meals with a great variety of choices. A special thank you goes to one of the waiters with Italian heritage, who made our dining experiences even more memorable. His attention to detail, kindness, and ability to understand our needs added something truly special to every meal and made the overall experience even better. The cleaning service has been excellent. We stayed on the second floor, and our housekeeper was both very thorough and flexible. The room was always clean, welcoming, and well taken care of. Although this resort is advertised as a 5-star hotel, our experience was closer to a 3-star standard. During the peak holiday season, maintenance work was carried out on the swimming pools early in the morning (around 7:30–8:00 a.m.), waking guests, and two pools were closed due to the ongoing work. This type of maintenance should ideally have been completed outside the busy holiday season. The tourist information staff were not particularly helpful or interested in assisting guests. Breakfast was also disappointing. There was only one coffee machine, which was clearly inadequate for a resort of this size, resulting in long queues every morning, and the coffee quality was below expectations. There did not seem to be any effort to improve the situation. On the positive side, the room was modern, comfortable, very clean, and of a high standard. In our opinion, the room itself easily met a 4-star standard. The bar staff were friendly, welcoming, and always helpful, and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job and were very pleasant throughout our stay. The location is also very good, with the town centre only a 15–20 minute walk away. Overall, while we appreciated the excellent location, the comfortable room, and the friendliness of the bar and housekeeping staff, the facilities, service, and overall experience did not meet the expectations of a 5-star resort. In our opinion, the hotel is closer to a good 3-star resort, with rooms that are of a solid 4-star standard.
