We were so disappointed about the fact that the elevator was out of service during our stay. Our rooms were on the second floor and we had to carry our languages from the underground parking to the second floor. We had 2 people who have physical difficulties to take the stairs. They had to stay almost all our stay in the room to avoid the stairs which screwed up our trip Thanks

Gebucht wegen Parkplatz, nur nicht vorhanden da Garage voll. Preis 15€/Tag. Stand aber nix davon. Zimmerkarte funktionierte nicht richtig, 2x neu codieren. Zimmer sehr klein

Elevatoren virkede ikke og vi havde takser med og boede på 3 etage men flotte værelser med fin udsigt og god service aircondition virkede heller ikke

The room was bigger than I expected, and the location was super handy. I stayed there for the Berlin marathon, and it was easy to hop on public transport since it was right outside. The room was clean, and the bed was comfy enough. But, my room was on the top floor, and the elevator only went to the fifth floor. I had to climb the stairs to get to my room. After running a marathon, that's something I would have preferred to skip. I wasn't told about that beforehand.

Perfettamente ubicata di fronte al metro Bülowstraße, ottima colazione, stanze in via di rinnovamento. La mia era già rinnovata e molto confortevole. Ascensori in riparazione. Una sera ho dovuto fare 5 piani a piedi perché non funzionava nessuno dei due ascensori. Però complessivamente buona permanenza.

Typisches altes Berliner Günstig Hotel. (aktuell) Kein eigener Parkplatz.

Our stay was great, everything was great with the hotel and staff, everyone was nice and attentive, the only thing is the elevator was not working, and we were on the fourth floor, another then that great! Thanks.

Hotellet lå sentralt nært til kollektiv trafikk og masse restauranter. Heisen fungerte ikke, tungvint å bo i 4etg. Da vi måtte bære kofferten opp. Parkeringsplassen var +inne i garasjehus.

Got a room on the unknown 7th floor. Lift only goes to 6th floor. Not mentioned anywhere that there is a top floor without lift. After walking along corridoors for a while we finally got to the last door. When we opened it we were hit by a horrible stinch. Smelled like sewer and mold, and it was intense!! Sadly the room smelled the same! Went to the front desk to complain and get a new room. The guy working there knew no English, and very little German. We got no help. He wrote our names down that we wanted another room, but we had to stay in that smelly room 1 night. It was horrible. And it also turned out the shower didn't work properly. You could only get very hot or almost boiling water in it. The day after, we heard nothing from the front desk and had to go down and ask about getting a new room one more time. We did get one a lot smaller than we had booked, but at least it didn't have that sewer smell. And the first night the fire alarm went off 3 times. All false alarms. The fire brigade turned something off in the end, and it finally got quiet. The next night the alarm went off again! This time the firebrigade supervisor was not happy. He told the personell that they had to get it fixed asap, as there had been 4 false alarms in less than 24 hours. And if they got another alarm later on they would not come. Did not feel safe hearing that! Then I asked for a refund for the first night, and was told a story about how they could not give me a refund since I had booked th

It’s a good value hotel. Comfy beds, hot showers, cheap price, good for transport options or walking to food places and bars. It’s quiet considering the main road but…. the corridors DO smell! The rooms don’t, so I guess that’s balance.

Das Zimmer war nicht ganz sauber, unter den Betten und Stühlen befanden sich verschiedene Gegenstände und Essensreste. In der Dusche war Schimmel. Das Frühstück war gut, obwohl nicht nachgelegt wurde und z.b. Gurke und Tomaten aussahen , wie vom Vortag. Die Lage war super, Bus und U Bahn direkt am Hotel.

God beliggenhed i forhold til U-bahn. Lidt slidt hotel og værelser. Der var hele tiden en lugt af kloak på gang-områderne. Dog ikke på værelser.

The hotel looked very run down. The entrance hall was small, without furniture or seating and it smelled bad the whole time. There was also a bad smell in parts of the corridors and in the right elevator. Only the breakfast room was OK. For the price, the condition was not OK at all.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! I wrote this email to the hotel during the morning of my second day. I have yet to receive any response and it has been 2 weeks: Firstly, the state of the room is disgusting. There is one chair that is covered in stains, no one should ever be willing to ever sit on it The stains on the chair are complimented by the stains all over the carpet. The carpet in the room is so bad I feel like if I don't wear shoes that I'll be infecting my feet with some fungal disease. The room also has a bunch of random holes in the wall throughout it, some by the front door, some in the bathroom. While I'm in the bathroom, I want to comment on all of the mould growing on the railings. It's covering the entire shower. With all of these points, this is likely the most dirty hotel room I have ever stayed in. Secondly, my experience last night was horrible. I came back to the hotel after working for a long day. It was about 11:30pm and the elevator was not operating. After the tiring day I had already had, climbing 5 flights of stairs was the last thing I wanted to do. Begrudgingly I made the hike, only to disgusting room 514 and this time with the overhead lights not working. It seems like someone had started to do some electrical work and not finished. You can see one of the lights hanging from out of its socket. To make matters worse, the wifi was not working when I needed to get online The email continued a bit longer too, but I have no room for it here in this review

Badezimmer hat überall Schimmel, Duschkopf war schon schwarz, überall haben die Wände Flecken und Schimmelrückstände, das Bett war schon zerfleddert, ziemlich tief gelegen, dagegen die Duschwanne extrem hoch (fast schon ein Ausfallschritt hoch) Der Teppich hatte viele große Flecken. Der Flur stank nach Abfluss, im Frühstück nur begrenzte Auswahl und alles schon Stunden vorher vergriffen ohne dass es wieder aufgefüllt wird, das Brot war mind. 3 Tage alt, so hart es war, auch Brötchen nicht frisch. Die Kaffeemaschine war so schmutzig, als wäre sie noch nie gereinigt worden.

Das Garner Hotel Schöneberg punktet mit seiner zentralen Lage, aber leider lässt der Zustand des Hauses sehr zu wünschen übrig. Das Gebäude wirkt alt und renovierungsbedürftig. In den Fluren lagen Baumaterialien, gereinigt wurde offenbar nur sehr oberflächlich. In meinem Zimmer fehlten die Handtücher, und der Duschvorhang war deutlich verschmutzt. Mit etwas mehr Sorgfalt beim Housekeeping und einer grundlegenden Renovierung könnte das Hotel deutlich gewinnen. So wie es aktuell ist, kann ich es leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

Im Flur hat es jeden Tag nach faulen Eiern/Kanalisation gerochen. Wir hatten Ameisen im Zimmer und an der Dusche war Kalk und Schimmel.

Leider gibt es keine AC und die Sonne heizt das Zimmer extrem aus. Da das Hotel an einer großen Strasse liegt, hat man nachts nur die Wahl zwischen Hitze oder Lärm. Frühstück ist in Ordnung und das Personal sehr freundlich!!!

O quarto era confortável, mas muito pequeno e apertado (parecia que um quarto maior havia sido dividido ao meio). A cama em cima do aquecedor, praticamente. O box do banheiro muito apertado. A localização, entretanto, é perfeita! E os funcionários, na medida do possível, são agradáveis.

The room would have been mini as a single, but as a double ridiculous. I had to climb over my husband to get out of the alcove bed, which furthermore creaked and moved as if it was going to collapse any minute.There was no lighting over the bed which was also questionable. The room was inxpensive, yes, but still too expensive for a cell.

Fint hotel, super tæt på offentlig transport og kun 10 min kørsel fra Kurfürstendamm og Brandenburger Tor. Har boet her engang før og det ser ud til der er renoveret for nyligt. Der er ingen AC, så en varm weekend som der lige har været, så er der rigtig varmt på værelset, da det vender mod en gård (og dermed ingen vind)

Un hotel bien comunicado con la estación de metro y autobús. Habitación demasiado básica. No tiene aire acondicionado, si se abren las ventanas se escucha demasiado ruido. En la ducha tiene un escalón muy alto para subir, por lo que puede ser peligroso.

Very convenient location in a nice area. The double beds are rather small, and the rooms were tight - but very quiet and totally blackout curtains so it was very easy to sleep. Soaps in the shower were nice, room was a comfy temperature Overall it was fine

Meget stort værelse til 5 personer, det var skønt, dog lidt larm fra byens trafik, men med et godt sovehjerte, går det også. God morgenmad.

Pillows and beds were very comfortable, room was bigger than expected so perfect for three people. Shower was good and powerful, only issue was the step was very high to get in and out of. I have really bad eye sight and hurt my foot when climbing out the one time. The room was also very warm during our stay, there was no A/C so we asked reception for any fans for the room but unfortunately didn’t have any.

Very nice, spacious and clean room. We had the garden view so it was very silent. Extremely comfortable bed, nice smelling shower gels, very clean room. Heating worked so room was warm and cozy. Hotel right next to U-bahn, supermarkets and restaurant.

I have been an old customer at Novum hotel City B and I have been always very satisfied by the level of service. Without any intention to skip any single person of the hotel's staff, I would like to thank especially Mr. Walid at the reception night shift who with his professionalism and kindness gave me the best solution in the middle of the night. I would also like to thank Mrs Kreuz and Mrs Irrling for their excellent correspondence to my needs in order to make my stay pleasant and easy. Many thanks to the cleaning staff as well. All are excellent.

When I first arrived there was a problem with the water temperature and the shower ran cold, however the hotel tried to rectify the problem but were unable to rectify the issue. On a positive note a receptionist called Vanessa moved me to another room, which was more, spacious and comfortable, and made my stay a pleasure, and a comfort. All hotel staff from cleaners, reception, restaurant, maintenance were extremely polite and respectful, and overall went out of their way to make your stay very welcoming. Thank you to all hotel staff that contributed to making my City Break a very enjoyable experience whilst in Berlin.

Dårlig service og information omkring begrænset parkering Får af vide at der ikke er parkering, men efter at en kollega overhører at der receptionisten siger der ikke er flere pladser kan vi så godt parkere i søster hotellet Lang ventetid grundet én enkelt receptionist ved tjek ind Prisen for parkering var dobbelt i forhold til hvad der stod Vores pengeskab var lukket og kunne ikke åbnes Receptionisten forstod knap nok engelsk så da vi skulle ordne pengeskabet forstod hun ikke eller kunne fortælle hvordan det skulle ordnes og det var nemmere at undlade at bruge det end at få det ordnet Intet skilt til “do not disturb” Intet system eller styr på hvor du er tjekket ind og hvilket værelse du har Gentagende problemer med værelses kort (næsten dagligt) og absurd lang tid for betjening - til trods for der sidder 2 medarbejdere - hvor den ene bare sidder og nyder at have hotellets eneste blæser Det skal også nævnes at hver gang der var problemer blev man blot kigget dumt på og fik et mumlende “sorry” Rengøringen kommer ind selvom vi har do not disturb skilt oppe - HVER DAG og gentagende gange på samme dag Ved udcheckning spurgte receptionisten om der skulle betales nu eller om jeg ville have en regning - hvilket ikke gav mening og da jeg spurgte ind til hvorfor jeg skulle have en regning kunne hun ikke forklare hvorfor. Generelt set meget svært at få service og vejledning.

Convenient for tourist attractions. Clean and plenty of space in our room. However the room became too warm in the mornings. Coffee/tea should be complimentary as in other hotels i stayed this trip. Check in/check out took too long, seemed under staffed.

Upon our arrival we found the large room to be clean and tidy. However the room safe did not work, when we spoke to reception about this we were given a key for safe and assured that someone would look it the following day, A few days after our arrival the main light for the room stopped working as did the TV again we reported this to reception and was assured that the maintenance person would look at this once on shift again. This never happened despite staying in hotel for 7 nights and speaking to 3 different members of reception staff about the issues. Used towels were changed daily, bin was emptied daily, beds were tidied daily, however bedding was never changed during our stay, we expected it to be changed mid way through our stay. Breakfast in the hotel had a good selection of continental items which were frequently refreshed. Breakfast staff were all attentive, clearing dishes and cleaning tables as soon as vacant.

Personalen var väldigt hjälpsam, frukosten också bra. Överlag en mycket bra vistelse till bra pris.

I got swindled by the blonde girl that works in the afternoon, we were told to pay the city tax as soon as we got there then as we checked out, we had to pay it again. We told them we paid for it when we got there and there was no note of it. We didn’t argue since it was time to go and the receptionist most likely just read what was on the notes. Very inappropriate and very unprofessional, we had a great time around the area but the check out just left a bad taste. Not only that but there was an issue with the toilet paper, had we not had travel wipes then things would have been bad.

Room was poor and not premium as described. At check in staff were ok but when i seen the room i went back to reception to ask of they made a mistake because no way was the room premium. Very bluntly I was told I was lucky to have a room because the hotel was full…. I wasn’t the only guest staying in the hotel.

We encountered various issues during our stay, which were not satisfactorily resolved despite speaking to staff. We had booked a double room and on check in were directed to a room which was clearly intended only for 1 person (given its size and the fact there was only 1 duvet, 1 pillow, 1 towel). I asked to be moved to a double room, which we were — all good so far. First night’s sleep was bad as the road outside was incredibly noisy, but given the heat the windows needed to be open (no fan/AC). The next day we returned to find housekeeping had not visited & our room key did not work; we got the key sorted but were told housekeeping were gone for the day. The next morning, around 7am, someone came into our room; this happened again at 9.30am. When we asked at reception about this, we were told we shouldn’t even be in the room we were in and should instead be in the tiny single room we’d been initially allocated — there was ongoing work to all the rooms on that floor. The staff were apologetic for someone having come into our room but largely unconcerned; they argued the single room was definitely for two people & didn’t listen to the fact it had been set up for 1. We asked for housekeeping to visit that day. We again returned to find our key card would not work & housekeeping had not visited — when I went to get the key sorted and mention about no housekeeping, the same member of staff from the morning was there and couldn’t have been less interested in trying to help me.

Good transport links right outside, and the hotel was really good

Fint hotel men ligger er sted hvor det er umuligt at have vinduerne åbne. Så meget larm fra gaden og ikke mindst rigtig mange udrykningskøretøjer hele natten. Præget at området med misbrug og sexarbejder. Kan man se bort fra dette så er hotellet et super hotel.

The transit was very convenient. It made it easy to get around. Lots of good food options. Laundry room close by to wash clothes

If it wasn’t for the lady at the front desk we would have not stayed. She was very friendly and did her best. The location is not good at all, at least not for families. I would suggest something else unless no choice

Tolle Lage mit U Bahn vor der Tür und Geschäften und Restaurants near by. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Jederzeit wieder

Kun en heis som virket, mye støy fra gaten dag som natt, frokosten var ok. Kommer ikke tilbake.

Super fint hotel og et godt værelse med god plads. Rigtig god morgenmads buffet med masser af lækre ting.

This was a mixed experience. The first night was very loud because we were on the side next to the elevated train. The next day we found two bugs in our room that looked like cockroaches. We had had enough and asked for a refund for our remaining 2 nights. The staff said it was normal to have bugs in the room and that they come through the open windows. Which seems weird to me because then why wouldn’t they put screens on the windows? But back to the refund, because it was booked through Expedia they said they couldn’t give us a refund. And Expedia was unresponsive - I tried to contact them through the Expedia site but there was no response. We decided to try one more night but we asked to be on the other side of the hotel. Here it was really quiet and all was well. And the breakfast they provide, at a cost, is very good. Scrambled eggs, sliced meats, fresh buns and bread, yoghurt, fruit salad, juice.

The staff was great! We made same day reservations and the gentleman at the counter got us the last room available that accommodated 4 adults! The property was under construction, so not the cleanest, but understandable. The property itself, is safe- room was clean and spacious. There is a restaurant attached which was delicious- great burgers and Mediterranean! The neighborhood around didn't seem like the greatest but we still walked around and returned safely.

The free breakfast was amazing! Location was fine for what we paid for as public transport is so accessible from the hotel. The housekeeping however was not the best.

Hotel confortável, atendimento de recepção muito cordial e educado, pessoal da limpeza também bem atencioso. A internet não funcionava muito bem, dentro do apartamento tinhamos que ficar próximos a porta para conseguir conexão. O blackout também não ajudava muito, mas de um modo geral, o custo benefício vale a pena. Café da manhã vale mais a pena tomar na cafeteria em frente, o café não oferece muitas opções e variedades.

Das Hotel liegt direkt an der U2 Bülowstraße mit super Anbindung in die Innenstadt und vielen Bussen. Der Service an der Rezeption war immer freundlich. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 1. OG (Familienstudio mit 5 Betten). Sowohl im Treppenhaus als auch in Flur hat es sehr stark gestunken. Wir haben jedes Mal die Fenster und die öffentliche Balkontür geöffnet. Der Teppichboden im Gang und Zimmer ist ein die Jahre gekommenen und hat viele unidentifizierbare Flecken. Zimmer: Das Zimmer war groß und hatte 5 Betten. Leider nur neben einem Bett 2 Steckdosen. Der Lichtschalter war vorne an der Tür und nur zentral für alle Lichter zu schalten. Der TV war an der Wand und sehr klein. Das Bad ist maximal 6qm und hat nur ein Oberlicht und Fenster, welches geöffnet werden kann. Der Wasserdruck der Dusche war besonders morgens viel zu gering. Eher ein starkes Tropfen als ein Strahl. Frühstück: Preis Leistung ist eigentlich gut (10€ Erw./5€ Kinder). Es gibt eine Auswahl an Belag, Dosenobst, Getränke und Rührei und hart gekochte Eier. Eigentlich echt in Ordnung. Wir waren nur einmal dort und das hart gekochte Ei hat nach dem Schälen offensichtlich verdorben gerochen. Es war widerlich. Wir haben das Personal freundlich darüber informiert, dass mit dem Ei etwas nicht stimmt. Die Dame roch daran, verzog ebenfalls das Gesicht und schmiss es weg. Sagte dann aber : die Eier sind alle frisch. Das war es. Schade!

The hotel is just next to the metro station and it is within walking distance to many places. The breakfast is good.
