Red Roof Inn Columbia, MO

The pictures are VERY Deceiving! This is a MOTEL !!! In the parking lot there were vehicles being worked, children in tee-shirts and pampers running around. Trash in the “alleyways “ and upper decks (not like housekeeping was cleaning). I drove around TWICE and could not believe that this was the same place that I reserved on-line. I quickly when in and cancelled my reservation. Per the paperwork my card was NOT charged.

This place was awful. The room reeked, the floors were filthy, there were no pillows, no towels, no toilet paper. The bed linens were stained and the people who were LIVING at the hotel’s dog was aggressive to my daughter. The toilet had a plunger in it and the toilet would not flush. The curtains were ripped down. We walked in the room and walked straight back to the car and went ahead and made the 5 hour drive home. This place needs shut down.

The place is kind of sketchy in itself. Upon check in the clerk asked if I was traveling alone. I said yes. He said I recommend you don’t answer your door. That’s not the most reassuring feeling. In the parking lot I was approached by some tweakers wanting a ride. Once in the room the bathroom light did not work. There was no door knob on the bathroom door. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom. There was no cup to get a drink of water. The bed was comfortable and the ac in the room worked great. Still will not go back!

The parking lot and outside of building was unkept looking. The room was clean however, their was the old thermostat holder on the wall with no thermostat and that looked dangerous. Their were homeless ripe type of people in residence in the second building that looked like it should be abandoned. The photos online of the office are not the actual pics for this location, it's very deceiving.

This hotel was absolutely disgusting. The first room I was in didn’t lock properly and it looked like someone punched the tv. The room that they moved me too was not much better. The towels were stained and there were stains on the comforter. Clearly you get what you pay for.
