The room was very clean & spacious. It was nice to have a refrigerator & microwave. The bed & pillows were comfortable! Nice & quiet. I would stay there again

The bathroom overhead did not work but other than that it was fine, overpriced for an older property. In addition there was an alarm set probably by a previous booked appointment and night staff could not help turn it off which woke me at 5 am

You know the saying you get what you pay for? In this case we didn’t even get that!!!! We paid for two queen beds; upon arrival we were given one king and one sofa (and then told we were upgraded but they weren’t going to charge us for the upgrade). Are you kidding me?! I chose two queens on purpose. THEN, they didn’t even have bedding for the sofa (which had questionable stains on it). We were given a few sheets and told to do our best. Breakfast was another failure! There was a note saying they were ‘out of this and that, etc’, so you could literally eat dry cereal (no milk of course) and / or plain toast. When we asked to speak to a manager about our room situation, he was conveniently ‘in meetings’ all day. We had arrived late at night and were desperate, fires had many of the hotels booked up, otherwise we would have gone somewhere else! But BEWARE!! Do not stay here unless you like ‘rough living’ or are completely desperate!! It’s not worth it. Oh and no fitness centre or pool (don’t listen to what’s advertised).

Everything was good about our stay except the breakfast. It was skimpy, not many choices, and the coffee tasted like it had been made the night before, and was just luke warm.

If you're looking for an affordable place with a pool, you're in luck! Staffed by kind people who are not bubbly in nature, which is fine with me. Breakfast provided 6-9am weekdays, 6-9:30am weekends. Toast, sometimes mini muffins, sometimes english muffins, DIY waffles, yogurt, coffee, hot water/tea. A spare little store by the front desk sells Soda, snacks, and Chapstick. Convenient parking, mostly, unless you're out late; you gotta come in through the lobby after 10pm. If you are uptight about cleanliness I would skip this place. It definitely wasn't dirty, but it also wasn't pristine. I was there with my dog, so assume I got one of the shabbier rooms, but there were also things they'd skipped over cleaning. It's a funky old place in need of work, and humidity builds up because of the older air conditioning units, some rooms lacking venting fans, and the pool. If a humid environment an some of what comes with it bums you out; this is not the place for you. On the other hand, humidity in Ellensburg, in summer? If I'm honest I didn't mind; felt like a balmy tropical vacation to somewhere more exotic, albeit lowbrow. Also fridge and a/c were loud, if that's a concern. In conclusion: it ain't the Taj Mahal!
