Center of Schaumburg area to many things. Nicely kept. Only operable ice machine is on 3rd floor.

Broke elevator , has been broke for over 3 weeks. Breakfast was the typical breakfast not bad , but nothing to write home about, but it was better than going to McDonald's. Rooms Very clean . Bring your own soap and towels, the towels were 50 grit sandpaper, and the soap was the size of quarter no CAP. Location was great for Domicacan Embassy visit.

I liked how quiet this hotel was. The charging station was a plus, too. There don’t seem to be many hotels with that amenity, especially at this price point, so I appreciate it. The room was clean and comfortable. The things I didn’t like were limited cable channels, the ice machine on the first floor not working, and the weird/musty smell in the lobby and at the elevators when we arrived. It wasn’t there the next day so I’m not sure what that was (cleaning products?). Overall a good stay.

Room was clean. Breakfast was great. Elevators were scary. Another guest got off the elevator and used the steps when it kept jumping/dropping each time you pressed the button to go up or down. Should be repaired or replaced. Both had issues. Employees were nice.

We stayed here May 12-14 and one of the elevators was out of service. We returned for a June 2-4 stay and the same elevator was still out of service. Why couldn't it be repaired within the three weeks?

This hotel did NOT match the picture on their website! I have a mold allergy. This hotel looked clean, said it was renovated in 2023, and that windows opened. It was SO rundown! Stains on the the hallway carpets and paint peeling. The first room we tried had peeling paint, yellow running down a wall, visible mold on the lamp shades, and the window was sealed shut. The 2nd room was even worse. Just walking through and taking pictures I had broke out in a rash! I asked for a refund because I couldn't stay there. The manager said she wouldn't charge me, but I need to now go thrpugh Hotels .com for my refund. We had to find a different hotel at the last minute.

We had a horrible experience. We got a room and when we entered in the bed had some stain and hair all over. We complaint to the reception and showed the photos. They gave me new sheet to change. First time i had a terrible experience.

A lot of trash on the outside of the building. Blood on the floor of the bathroom and the floor boards in the room above sounded like a construction crew as the occupants walked around above.

I found 3 bugs in my bed. Didn’t report it as I searched for more and didn’t find eggs, poop, blood stains, etc. I searched with a flashlight even… Got back home from my trip to discover I’ve broken out with the “bed bug” bite pattern. I have been/stayed no where else and after inspection they are not in my home…thank god! Stayed in room 407. Hotel was pretty clean and fairly quiet.

The hotel is very neat and clean. Common areas are well maintained, 24x7 coffee/tea, nice breakfast with a good variety. Rooms are also very clean. Staff is amazing and friendly. I would definitely go there again.

Okay, the room was dingy, walls needed washed down or repainted. The vents in the bathroom caked in thick dust, didn’t even want to consider sitting on the couch in our room, or the desk chair. The bathroom was clean and bedding was good. Just needs a good overall cleaning, light switches were dirty.. etc

The hotel and room were nice, but the cleaning was not up to par. There were sticky stains on the desk, splatters of something on the walls in the living area and the bathroom, chips/crumbs on the hide-a-bed. If it was clean it would've been fantastic. I asked for some cleaning products at the front desk and was given a Norwex cloth, which nice for home use, but in a hotel room I'd like things disinfected. There was also a plastic bag over the smoke detector which was odd.

Room and bed were excellent. Quiet, safe neighborhood. No one running around and making noise. Shower was nice and staff was friendly and helpful. Only 2 issues. First, Internet was very slow 10mb/sec. that is ridiculously slow and no reason for it with today's tech. Second, breakfast was bad. Not very fresh, limited choices but the staff was very nice. Would not stay if either of these are an issue for you. if not, definitely recommended.

The only complaint I have with my stay is the wifi is very slow at night when everyone is in their rooms, but thats such a minor detail. I will always stay at this hotel when i come to the chicago area.

The rooms were decent size. The carpet was filthy. The bathroom only had a dim light around the mirror.

The walls were VERY thin and we heard constant noise. The guest in the room directly above us paced across room, stomping loud enough to wake me up twice a night around 2am and 4am for 1/2 hour straight. We were in rm 109 so I’m thinking 209 for them. This was for three nights.

Poorly insulated infrastructure. Heard constant foot steps and noise from the room above me all night. Along with many strange sounds from other electronics in the room. I got maybe 2.5 hours of sleep.

The bathroom door didn’t close in the room but apart from that the room is quite spacious and open.

Perfect for a weekend in Chicago! Only one EV Charger worked, we got lucky and were able to use it all weekend. The front desk was very helpful with food recommendations and super friendly. Our toilet became backed up and they immediately offered us another room. The only detractor would be that you can hear people in the hallway and anyone above you. It didn’t bother us that much, but people should know.

The ceiling of the room makes lots of creaking noise. Whole night we are awake as our upstairs neighbor is walking. We have friends in other room who also complained the same thing. It seems the ceiling has got the same problem for the whole floor.

Room was good size and clean. Outdated furniture and no extras.

Wifi was not working and even after multiple complaints it did not get fixed for entire stay.

Front desk check in was the greatest. Very friendly and welcoming.

We arrived around 9 PM and had to wait approximately 20 minutes to check in. The person at the front desk was very rude and showed no courtesy. The first two key cards we were given didn’t work, and only on the third attempt were we finally able to access our room. When we requested a pillow and blanket, we were given only a pillow and a bedsheet instead.

When Andre was working in the kitchen for breakfast I loved how he kept walking and making sure nothing was empty, he would go get the coffee refill it while still making sure food was available for the guests. He kept it clean even while it was packed. I stayed a week and the times he was there it was the same service from him. I definitely recommend

I had an incident that happened and wanted to speak with the manager, after numerous attempts, being put on hold for long periods of time only for the young man that answered the phone to tell me that she was busy and would return my call, Well I still haven’t heard from her or the owners. Not even corporate has responded to my calls. I have two videos of the dirty room but I have no idea who to send them to. Maybe the news!!!

Good hotel overall and it serves its purpose.The front desk staff needs some training in hospitality as they are abrasive, dry and do not foster an inviting atmosphere!

The staff provided superb customer service. In particular Raj Patel went above and beyond when we unexpectedly needed to extend our stay. Would highly recommend this hotel...and I intend to return as a guest this summer.

I came to Illinois for a medical surgery with an ENT specialist in the area. After the surgery, I probably looked like a zombie. The front desk staff treated me with the utmost care and respect, despite my disheveled appearance. Due to the surgery, I had a horrible sore throat, and popsicles were the only thing that eased my discomfort. Unfortunately, there’s only a fridge in the room, not a freezer. The front desk staff had mercy on me, and let me store my popsicles in their downstairs freezer. They never once made me feel like a bother, and treated me with empathy/genuine kindness. Pierre would see my mother or me, and immediately get a popsicle for me with plenty of napkins. He’s a gem of a man with a heart of gold. Teresa and Harold also showed me much kindness. If the budget allows, give these wonderful people a raise. The quality of a hotel, for me, really begins at the staff level. This place has the kindest hotel staff. As far as the room. I was on the third floor. My room was clean, and smoke free. There is a good working mini fridge and a small microwave. There is also a continental breakfast available, which is a plus. My room was quiet and I had no disturbances. It was a wonderful stay, and I would stay here again. I want to, again, finish my summary with accolades for the staff. Thank you Pierre, Teresa, and Harold. You saw a person in suffering, and never once looked at me with disgust. Instead, you tried your best to alleviate my pain. Thank you.

This place was great. The location is near everything you need--even the airport (O'Hare isn't far away). My only critique is that the lights in our room were iffy and the furniture wasn't as kept as it could have been (i.e. frig needed a defrost). They do serve breakfast--nothing special but enough to start your day. Overall a great stay

free breakfast. they should have paid me to eat it. terrible! lousy eggs. raw pancakes. ran out of milk. coffee bar in lobby not in food area. very little selection. when i mentioned this to service person i was greeted with a blank stare! lousy location. could not walk anywhere. had to uber. i guess you get what you pay for. although bed was comfy. slept well. room was clean.

The room and property in general was very clean. The beds are definitely on the firm side. Breakfast was great with fruit, yogurt, cereals, scrambled eggs, sausage and pancake maker. I would most definitely recommend and stay again!

I breakfast was merely OK. Nothing that required any preparation. Everything package or microwaved. Oatmeal in packages instead of actually made with something to add like nuts or raisins. All baked good prepackaged and mediocre. Pancake machine a waste of time, waffle maker would be better. Room was quiet and well appointed. Remote control had a dead battery that should have been replaced before I had to go to the from desk and get a replacement. Overall, worth the money with some improvements noted above.

Great location right off the highway. Very clean rooms and main areas. Friendly, attentive staff. The breakfast attendant was amazing! Breakfast was good and the pancake machine was fun to try. Will definitely stay at a Wingate again if not this location. Resonable price and was perfect for driving into the city for a concert and getting out of the city afterward. Very pleased.
