Westgate Inn

We needed a few days away. This was the perfect spot. It was easy to get to . We had a lovely room. The staff couldn’t be more gracious. And the room was very reasonably priced. Need I say more?

We had a room in a separate building than the main hotel and had to go to the main building for ice. The air conditioner was loud all night and couldn’t sleep because of the noise. When I was getting dressed in the morning the maintenance men walked right in the room without knocking. They did refund the room for the night but still embarrassing to have a complete stranger walk in on you naked.

Breakfast was pretty basic - not many options - staff was nice - overall it was a good stay

Had to cut our visit short due to sudden illness. However while here everything and everyone was friendly, clean, helpful and accommodating. One negative. Let's just say I should have brought our own pillows.

Not a bad mom and pop type of hotel to stay if your star viewing or traveling in the area, you are not going to be staying in a name brand hotel with perks. The Staff was super nice and helpful, first we noticed our heat/cool unit was not working, then we found water trickling out of a near by socket and they immediately changed our room with an upgrade to a suite. The drilling/fracking company building in the area needs to replace the flooring in this hotel due to the workers staying there destroying the carpet with nasty oil coated boots they stomped/tracked all over . Furniture needs to go if it’s old , dirty and ripped up, aircoditioning units need cleaned and serviced badly as in both rooms they barely cooled anything or struggled to run. Beds were comfortable , Bathrooms were clean but mouthwash needs a seal on bottles (first room had a used 1/2bottle in bathroom) electrical in walls need covered and broken lamps need tossed. Don’t rely on “continental breakfast” , coffee, fruit cups and bread tossed in plastic Tupperware box , palest orange Juice in little refrigerator and a couple microwave breakfast burritos is not anything to promote just walk over to the dinner 2 parking lots over, they have great food.
