This was formerly a favorite getaway stay for us but no longer! We came here over memorial day weekend for my birthday stay specifically to relax by the pool. Pool on check-in day (4pm) was open but very cloudy looking so we didn't get in. The next 2 days the pool was closed due to chemical balance problem. Temps around 90 so a pool was certainly missed as part of our stay. The outdoor furniture is in bad shape/broken/disrepair. One of the two elevators Out Of Order during stay. And first floor seating area near elevators and down first floor hallway smelled strongly of urine. Overall, the property needs TLC inside and outside, so it was not the relaxing stay we anticipated - very disappointed. Sadly, this marks our last stay at this property!

I would suggest better cleaning of the pool area. Dirty tables, older chairs and only 2 umbrella areas. You need more lounge chairs and landscaping that is better taken care of. I think that this would really uplift that area. staff was very nice and attentive.

Wonderful hotel, well located near shops, restaurants and local activities. It was a beautiful hotel with a nice outdoor pool and sitting area which at night is a delightful place to gather with friends around a fire pit. The breakfast had everything you’d want from eggs to order, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, fruit, toast, bagels and sweet breads and muffins. You can get French toast and pancakes or waffles also! The managers reception in the evening was as wonderful as the breakfast in the morning. I’m definitely staying there the next time I’m in Lexington!

A pillow on the bed didn't have a cover and it had brown stains on it. The room had a mildewy smell. The bathroom door was splitting at the bottom (from before it was remodeled I'm guessing) and we did not have any towels picked up or replaced in the bathroom.

We stayed at this hotel in the past, so we knew it was in a great location. Safe area, close to dining & shopping and 10 minutes to downtown. The free breakfast was really good-eggs/omelets to order, bacon, potatoes, fruit, yogurt, etc. We had the pool to ourselves all morning. Very close to the best bookstore in Lex, too! We were not at the hotel during the free evening reception, but I’m sure it was nice. Our bed was comfortable & our son was on the sofa sleeper-no complaints from him at all! The only thing I saw that needs improvement is the cleaning. There was hair in the shower upon arrival. The cleanser they use did not smell great in the bathroom. There was also a spider that my husband spotted coming down it’s web over our bed-he got it, though! We enjoyed our stay overall.

Everything was good about our stay and this property except for the fact the room was not completely clean. When looking for a toy my daughter had dropped, I noticed under the beds there was an empty jello cup, dog food, nuts, and pieces of assorted foods and trash. There was also hair ties under the vanity in the bathroom that were just barley pushed under the vanity and clearly seen.

Check in was quick and friendly. The lobby was nice. The rooms were a bit outdated and the queen sized beds seemed incredibly small. Very uncomfortable for 2 adults. Pillows were small and uncomfortable. Our thermostat did not seem to keep correct temp. Cobwebs in the corners of the floor and overall it just did not feel clean. No major complaints, but was hoping for the price to have something more comfortable.

We were put on the very lowest floor right in front of all the bar and gathering area despite getting there very early for check-in and requesting a higher up room. It was ridiculously loud for hours past bedtime. The beds weren’t the worst but they were definitely squeaky and hard. Not comfortable at all. The rooms need updating. The location is great but I would not stay there again

I have stayed at many embassy suites and have always been satisfied with them. This was not the case for this location. I didn’t get any sleep due to being able to hear noises from doors from other rooms. I didn’t sleep at all because every 15 minutes I heard a door slam or open.

We had a great view in our room, and the area outside, has a pond and seating. We watched swans and ducks swimming in the pond, with a view of Palmers restaurant. It was great!

The manager couldn’t be any better. The only problem I had was the free beer was stale and then I went to miller lite and they charged 19$ for three bottles of beer during happy hour. Not so happy.

Stay was great the property was immaculate. Only downside was that Room service would never answer their phone for over an hour finally called the front desk to see what was going on and he said they had recently been slammed by large order for like 20 people and he would make sure that they called me ASAP. Well that didn’t happen never called me so I tried to call them again finally answered I got to place my order which was delivered fairly quickly and food was pretty good so that reason for the middle of the broadcasting for them. Overall service is very good at this property highly recommend it just don’t get in rush for room service!

We were pretty happy overall with our stay. Having the living room area was perfect, because any noise from the atrium area or hallways could only be heard from there. Once we closed the bedroom door it was nice and quiet. Breakfast was great. There were plenty of offerings even for my husband who has an egg allergy. The only sour note was that evening reception. The bartender charged me twice the advertised price for a jim beam. I wasn't in the mood to argue the price, but if you order anything besides what's free check your bill closely.

At check-in, the front desk couldn't check me in because the system was down for date roll. Instead of having a list of arriving guests printed and keys available, I had to wait from 2:10a for 20 minutes to be given a key to my room. The night auditor blamed me for arriving too late and not calling ahead for my PREPAID reservation. Then he called me a NO-SHOW. Ridiculous.

Phone rang real low for hours, they was knocking on the door at 10:15am even though you don’t have to check out till noon, then house keeping opens my door at 11:00 without knocking scared the crap out of me and when I confronted him he said I should have put the do not disturb sign on my door knob!! WTH!!! Just knock first before you come into a room!! We will not be back!!

This is always my favorite place to stay when I come to town and everyone has always been so welcoming until this stay. The guy at the check in counter was acting like we were an inconvenience and didn’t want to answer any questions. Every time I would ask him anything he would let it go through one ear and out the other. I had to repeat my self several times before he finally took the time to hear what I was saying.

Two staff members (one in particular) were very rude to me and my 7 year old daughter at the breakfast “made to order” counter on our first morning there. We subsequently felt it best to get breakfast outside the hotel after that. It was a terrible experience. Also, the gym equipment literally were covered in cob webs and the gym itself was very dirty. Next time we are in Lexington, we will not be staying at this hotel.

Very nice hotel in a convenient location. We loved the 2 hour free apps and drinks in the evening and the free breakfast that included omelets made to order, pancakes, French toast, bacon, and more. Price was comparable to other hotels and with those perks it makes Embassy a great value.

Front desk was friendly and helpful. I appreciated the bottled water. The beds were uncomfortably firm. There was an old gummy bear under one of the beds. Also, the curtains didn't close all the way. The coffee in the room was not good at all. The chicken and rice soup in the lounge was awful, but the martini was wonderful, and service there was great. The breakfast was good; I especially enjoyed the made-to-order omelet. However, breakfast closed at 9:30 which seemed a bit early to me.
