Great staff, newer building with easy parking access. Some details in the room were shabby like ceiling in the shower, loose toilet seat, air conditioner had damaged loose pieces and slight mildew smell. Overall though quiet hotel, secure, next to a Meijer and felt safe with great staff. Worth a stay.

My sister and I stayed at this hotel in Marion OH for 3 nights. Cole the front desk employee was awesome. The other employees are lazy and disrespectful. On the 2nd day I requested trash be emptied in the room and fresh towels. I requested that 3 times and finally got towels at 8pm. Housekeeping did not pull trash. The rooms are outdated, bathtub bottoms are black, rooms smell heavy with smoke. Cole at the front desk was the only good thing about our stay. The pool area is not adequately ventilated and smells horrible with chlorine. Almost to the point of making us sick to stomachs. This hotel should be bulldozed or have a huge remodel.

It was an ok stay. Pool was not heated and was cold. Lots of noise from the other guests that lasted all through the night. Never was addressed. Not a fan of the 100 dollar deposit even though I payed full on arrival.

This hotel needs a major renovation. The hotel and rooms are old and very dirty. Our room had stuff all over the walls, the shower was GROSS, and pretty sure the floor was not cleaned prior to checking in. Will never stay here again.

The bottom of the tub was black, clean but black staining. Also around the outside of the tub was black. When someone upstairs took a shower or used the toilet there was a clicking sound in the bathroom and behind the bed (in the wall). Very annoying. As a side note, the tea available was not appealing. Thank you.

The room was nice but outdated - carpet was very worn. The elevator smelled very strong of pesticide almost didn’t want to use it the smell was so strong. Staff was nice. The highway traffic can be heard clearly in the room.

Well after today this will be my familys last time at this hotel. We usually stay here 3-4 times a year while visiting family. The hotel itself is very clean and comfortable. My issue lies with the breakfast staff. As I was helping my 10 year old get some waffle mix out of the machine, the nozzle came off and mix went everywhere. Instead of being understanding staff came out very annoyed and rude, as if we meant to do this. My child began crying as she felt terrible and embarrassed and the worker just continued to shoot us looks and was extremely annoyed by our presence. After this happened she shut down the waffle maker, leaving my child who has food sensitivities, nothing else to eat on site. So she had to go hungry and wait to eat until I could pack up our belongings and check out. I was very apologetic to her and the situation, but she refused to speak to me and only acknowledged me by rolling her eyes in my direction. Seems the Holiday Inn will get our future business when we stay in Marion. Maybe some sensitivity training should be in order for this 'general manager." I have never seen anybody so cold and so not understanding to a situation. DONTGO HERE WITH KIDS, you are not welcome.

Country Inn & Suites is conveniently located to nearby stores and restaurants and easy access to Rt. 23. The rooms are clean, all amenities work, the staff was pleasant and a tasty breakfast is provided daily to guests. Our room was very comfortable and I always stay here when in the Marion area.

The eggs, sausages, and potatoes were cold, and the eggs felt like mush. When it came to the shower. The shower made a loud squealing noise. But other than that, the room was comfortable.

I liked that we could walk as soon as we got there to get something to eat. I didn't like all of the stains all over the carpets. Very small coffee cups, and ran out of coffee fast, along with other breakfast items, and they didn't get replenished quickly at all.

I liked that we could walk as soon as we got there to get something to eat. I didn't like all of the stains all over the carpets. Very small coffee cups, and ran out of coffee fast, along with other breakfast items, and they didn't get replenished quickly at all.

Easy to find- right next door to steak and shake and Meijer. Breakfast was not great, the hot food especially was not good. Room was clean and quiet and no complaints there.

I had a handicap room (123,) as I'm just 6 weeks post total knee replacement and needed the handrail. I had adjoining rooms with friends. Our friends were put in the handicap room instead of us. We were in room 125. They had a broken toilet (the chain in the tank used for flushing was rusty and broken, so it never stayed attached. There was no maintenance workers on the weekend, and since they never said they would have someone come fix it, I can only assume they have no one on call for emergencies. The rooms were adequately clean. However, the banister, on the outside of the spindles, was filthy,with dirt and dust on all steps. The continental breakfast left much to be desired. Kind of outdated, and definitely needed new carpeting throughout.

The staff was friendly and helped me get a room quickly, which I appreciate it since it was late at night and I was pretty tired and ready to go to bed. The room was clean. The air conditioning was comfortable and the hotel was quiet. Got a great night sleep woke up first thing in the morning. Grab some to go breakfast and hit the road. I definitely stay here again my next road trip.

The staff were super friendly and helpful :-) the beds were not the most comfortable, but the rooms were very clean! The pool was much smaller in person than appeared in the picture and there was some remodeling work that needed to be done along the walls. It is a fine place to stay. Great for the price we got it at.
