Location was convenient to food, stores, shopping. Breakfast was average. Staff was friendly. Property itself had stains in shower and needs updated, scratches on front door and walls. Did not have a gym as advertised and no laundry facility on site. Would not stay here again. Would recommend staying at other properties around.

We were only there one night but our family (3 rooms) were happy with the hotel. The staff was great, the room clean, and breakfast was good. The front desk lady came over to make sure we had enough breakfast and offered to cook more eggs for us if we would like (I'm sorry I did not get her name) There is an indoor pool which we didn't get a chance to use, but saw others enjoying it. It is in a convenient location off US23 with shopping and restaurants on the main street. The hotel is tucked back from the main road (turn south on James St) so it was quiet. We would stay here again.

I was so pleased with this stay. I needed a close hotel to the Marion Co prisons because I was coming in to visit my husband. This place was very clean, the indoor pool room was spotless, 9 minutes away from my destination. Prices were a steal! I WILL be staying again my next upcoming visit!

This hotel is run down. Walls in the hallways and rooms are dirty and paint is chipped. We reserved two rooms while we were there for a wrestling tournament and both rooms bathrooms were disgusting. My teenager and husband refused to shower. The shower was moldy, stained and dirty. The toilet base around the floor was the same. We were up all night as well because we heard every footstep in the room above us. The continental breakfast was limited and just not good. I didn't let me children swim, the whole first floor was full of the chlorine smell coming from the pool. This can't be safe levels. We don't leave reviews much but i felt compelled to this time. We will never consider this place if we are back in the future.

This was a good location for my needs. Cheapest in town when I was originally booking that included breakfast. This location also had an indoor pool which was a nice touch as I imagine that swimming outside the summer months doesn't typically happen in Ohio!

Worst hotel in Marion OH. Rooms smell of smoke, dirty smelly carpets. Went to room and never walked in due to overpowering smell of smoke. Requested another room and same thing just not as bad. Horrible pillows, pilled sheets that smell of Chinese food, hair in bathroom and bathtub. Nasty nasty place.

This was the worst hotel I've ever booked. Room was old, mildew odor. Toilet was filthy, with stains. Bathroom sink was dirty with hair on it. The most horrific part was finding bed bugs and eggs. I ran out the room and notified a woman at the desk. I told her I wanted to leave and I asked for my money back. She agreed to it and said she had to wait for male manager to be present to send refund. I recorded her saying just that as well.

The staff was very nice and professional. The room was good and we slept well on the bed. The only thing was our door didn't close all the way unless we physically made sure it was closed. Overall a quite good experience.

This place is your typical “over rated” hotel and I mean that in the most literal way. The rooms were nothing spectacular by any means whatsoever. They were fairly clean, but as soon as I walked in, I could immediately smell something. I do not know what that smell was. And then, of course, you know because I’m the one checking in late because I was traveling late. I guess I get punished by being put in room 208 which is right beside the elevator, so I got to listen to that all night not to mention the paper, thin walls where I could hear conversations from the next room over and the TV blaring all night. Needless to say I didn’t get much sleep. But the towels were clean and the bedding was clean and there were no bedbugs in the bed was actually comfortable so I would definitely not say it’s exceptional or even great. I would say it’s just your average non-bedbug still wear your sandals when walking through the place type of hotel. Hope that helps.

Breakfast was below average. The person who was filling it was busy talking to a friend and told us to let him know if anything needed to be replaced. The milk was sour. There wasn't very much of anything left and it was 8:30 in the morning. The room was okay but could use some updating. The first night the occupant above us was up a lot during the night and was very heavy footed. It kept us awake. I reported it to the desk in the morning and the next night it din't happen.

We have paid to have employees there over several weeks then we had to leave a day for an emergency & they wouldn’t refund that 1 day, it’s not like this is a high tourism and destination area, where they’re completely booked out. Will not re-book here.

To start with could not find reservation, only after I showed it on my Phone did he find it. Gave me the wrong wi-fi password and said it was my computer problem. Dead bugs on floor in carpet. Spent four days there and not once did any one offer to dump trash, replace towels. Tv had no guide to go by so you have to scroll through to find channels. Ask about a printed guide and was told they are not supplied any more. (not true) I have stayed at other Wydham motels and all supplied them. On the fourth day the milk in the pitcher was spoiled.I booked this motel instead of others because it said it was three stars. should be 1/12 to 2 stars max. I will not stay at this Wydham in Marion again.

Custom service was a+. This was our second time staying at the hotel. It's the only hotel in Marion I will stay at. Night desk clerk is super helpful and nice. Also the cleaning staff was always friendly and efficient.

Your customer service was the worst I’ve ever dealt with in my entire life. They were very unprofessional. They refused transfer to management when the problem cannot be alleviated. I was refused refund after I paid for the insurance before I even purchased the trip. It clearly states that I should receive a refund if at all unsatisfied. I didn’t visit the property nor check in. I have documented proof.

We were only there one night but our family (3 rooms) were happy with the hotel. The staff was great, the room clean, and breakfast was good. The front desk lady came over to make sure we had enough breakfast and offered to cook more eggs for us if we would like (I'm sorry I did not get her name) There is an indoor pool which we didn't get a chance to use, but saw others enjoying it. It is in a convenient location off US23 with shopping and restaurants on the main street. The hotel is tucked back from the main road (turn south on James St) so it was quiet. We would stay here again.

I was so pleased with this stay. I needed a close hotel to the Marion Co prisons because I was coming in to visit my husband. This place was very clean, the indoor pool room was spotless, 9 minutes away from my destination. Prices were a steal! I WILL be staying again my next upcoming visit!

Area didn't feel safe and looked old. You can hear everything going on in room next door. Hotel needs renovating seriously. Room view was barbed wire fence and storage

This was a good location for my needs. Cheapest in town when I was originally booking that included breakfast. This location also had an indoor pool which was a nice touch as I imagine that swimming outside the summer months doesn't typically happen in Ohio!

My partner and I stayed here on a business trip weekend. The staff was awesome! The continental breakfast was very good. The facility was very clean and nice. The bed was super comfortable and the pillows were extremely soft and fluffy I wish I could get these for my own use!!! My only complaint and why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is the water pressure in the shower was extremely weak but once I figured out how to adjust the temperature I finally was able to get it hot enough to enjoy but again the water pressure was limp. Everything else was excellent overall.

Breakfast selection was slim. They barely put anything out. I had to ask them to refill everything both days I stayed. Not at all happy with this hotel. I stayed at one a few years ago and also had a bad stay. I will not stay again with this hotel.

T\Multiple room problems - TV non working, a couple of lights burned out, toilet didn't want to flush, very low water pressure on shower. Overwhelming odor of marijuana in the whole hotel. Breakfast was depleted by 7:00 AM - server tried to restock but in her hurry put out undercooked food. Not mearly up to usual Wyndham standards.

My stay was pleasantly perfect. Great price, clean and comfortable. Brook was especially pleasant in greeting me in the morning. She did a great job getting breakfast out and it was great!

Breakfast was below average. The person who was filling it was busy talking to a friend and told us to let him know if anything needed to be replaced. The milk was sour. There wasn't very much of anything left and it was 8:30 in the morning. The room was okay but could use some updating. The first night the occupant above us was up a lot during the night and was very heavy footed. It kept us awake. I reported it to the desk in the morning and the next night it din't happen.

I was exhausted after fighting rain and traffic for hrs…. I got to the hotel…the front staff was ready for me and she was enjoyable to talk with. Got to my room, different story…I lifted the lid of the toilet and the whole seat came off, the other places I touch like a wall separation when I went to lay down some thing on it I realized it wasn’t attached properly I turned the a/c on and the room began to smell awful like the filters were moldy or dirty… I would have asked for a different room but was too exhausted to care …bed was comfortable and seem clean. I took a shower in the morning…and quickly realized when I got out of the shower how slippery the floor in the bathroom was…be careful. Looked at breakfast but left too early to eat anything…but people seem like they were enjoying it…I will have to think twice about staying there again….

The room was relatively clean, but the TV didn’t work. I called the front desk but no one answered. When we arrived at the front desk to check in, no one was there. We had to ring a bell. Not ideal.

The room was really nice...and clean. The bathroom...not so nice. Tiny toilet! Like child-sized and therefore harder for us slightly older folks to get up and down, with nothing nearby to grab a hold of to help. Also, the towel racks were far from the tub/shower making it difficult to keep towel close enough to use without them getting wet. Great staff. Pleasant and helpful.
