I enjoyed the breakfast and pool. It was very convenient to everywhere that I need to go. Friendly customer service and staff. Thank you very much

I liked that my room was two steps right in front of the gym, pool, and dining area. Couldn’t have had it any better than that. The front desk was friendly and professional. I did get to see the older gentleman who was spoken about in previous reviews and he really is that nice pleasant gentleman. The other front desk workers on my 8/23 & 8/24 stay were awesome and always service with a smile, which I told them thank you because smiles carry weight and sets the tone for the customer’s stay! The only downside was that my dad fell getting pout of the tub/shower. There was not a nonslip mat of any kind and he tried to grab on the curtain to break the fall but that tore down along with his fall. I also loved the inside pool. It was a bit cold but once I eased myself in and started moving around it warmed up but it would be great if they could have a lil warmer pool. Just a suggestion.

Rooms were clean. The indoor pool was warm like a bathtub. The breakfast was warm and good. The front desk people were very nice and friendly.

The water pressure and temperature were stellar. I really enjoyed the beach balls in the pool area, it was a nice touch and a lot of fun. The only negative was that one of the towels had threads off the sides and a couple of wash cloths were not completely clean. It was a bit humid in the room when we raised the temperature.

Quiet clean hotel - loved gym pool and breakfast!

My family and I were completely disappointed in our stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Woodbridge, VA. Upon arriving to our room we quickly noticed that the room was not serviced properly. Our shower head was disgusting, it was packed with mildew, there were food stains on the sofa, and a used bandage was left on the night stand by the bed. Our mattress had clearly seen better days as it was sunken in in the middle. I ended up sleeping at the foot of the bed so not to damage my back. Iended up driving to WalMart to purchase cleaning supplies to clean the short myself as u was afraid that the mildew would come off on our skin. When I asked the floor attendee for an extra towel to go to the pool, she replied that she did not understand English. Once we made it to the pool, there was a sign on the door stating that the pool water was green due to a St. Patrick's Day party. Unacceptable, St. Patrick's Day was will over 2 weeks ago. The pool should have been cleaned and restored to its clear water state by then. We choose that hotel particularly because of the indoor pool, but we were not comfortable using it with green water. I should not have had to purchase cleaning supplies. I have attached several photos showing our room. What a disappointing stay.

Tub closure busted, Pool hours 10 to 10 so by the time your done driving check in its too late and doesn't open until you are already checking out. Breakfast is 6-8 if I was a worker and had to get to work fine but I a retired and missed breakfast both times because I get up at 830 like most retired people or people not in a hurry. My friend got cereal and waited they closed the kitchen so she could not get milk for her cereal. There was NO sausage, bacon, oatmeal, scrambled eggs or drinkable milk. Front Desk was very polite and friendly. But I will not stay there again. Why pay extra for breakfast when you don't get it, why pay for pool when its too cold to get in, sure they heated it after we started swimming but then its already 10 pm.

Pool was very nice. Room are very comfortable, check in was quick and easy.

We were in town visiting our son who is stationed at Quantico. so this hotel was a nice in between from base and then we could go visit DC easily. hotel was clean, staff very friendly. We LOVED the breakfast. was a great start to our day before we walked the miles around DC. Only a couple issues. 1, was that the pool was out of service while we were there. not a huge issue, but slightly disappointing. 2. the rooms are not really soundproof. we had a tour bus of young kids there a couple nights. they were being kids.. but it sounded like they were going to fall through the ceiling above us.. bouncing balls, or something.. again. .kids being kids.. was only a night or 2 like that. nothing the hotel can be blamed for. would definitely stay here again.

Not the cleanest place

The hotel was very clean and the room was very nice. The staff at the front desk was very kind and helpful.

Room was dirty, sheets smelled like sweat, carpet was not vacuumed, under the bed has not been vacuumed in months, bed was not made properly upon my arrival, stood there for three nights the only thing we got was clean towels as we requested, not even once they cleaned our room. The bed had a HUGE dent in the middle, we struggled to get out of bed. One positive thing, breakfast was good. I come from the Hotel Industry, I know how a hotel room should look like, and smells like. On top of that the guests across from my room were knocking on my door late at night. Did not feel safe.

Filthy floors and bathroom walls.

The property management needs to give close attention to the cleanness of the rooms. We spotted ants and roaches inside the room. The room was not cleaned the second day into our stay and when I requested the front desk to have it cleaned, I was told by the receptionist that the cleaning crew will be about to leave. However, I made sure to take the 'Don't disturb' door tag out before I left the room in the morning in the hope to be cleaned. So, we had to sleep in uncleaned room with no basics replenished.

Staff was friendly and breakfast was good. Cleaning needs a lot of improvement. Desk top and remote were visibly smudgy. Shower was dingy/old and had hair in it. Carpet was stained and there was pop bottle caps under one of the headboards on the floor. Not thorough cleaning at all. Beds were clean and comfy and air conditioning worked. We booked last minute, in town to visit someone in the hospital 5 mins away. It served it's purpose but wouldn't stay there again.

Shower head was extremely dirty and moldy, water flow was terrible although we didn’t use the shower due to the condition of the shower head. There was also the issue of dried blood yes dried blood on the pillow case. This was my second stay and it will be my last.

We’ve been staying at this hotel for years on our way home from Florida and I was shocked by how dirty and rundown this place was. There was black mold on the bathroom floor and it looks like the floor hasn’t been vacuumed in weeks. We recently stayed here in March and from then to now what a disgrace. The floors in the hallway were filthy and looked like they hadn’t been mopped since we were last there. Completely disappointed by the state of this hotel.

The staff were friendly and it was a quick, easy check in/out process. The room was a little outdated, had some issues with the bathroom light (did get fixed), and the bathroom cleanliness was subpar with a stained towel, dirt in the tub, and writing on the mirrors.

In bed bug

We booked a stay at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Woodbridge VA. It was supposed to be for 2 queen size beds, but only realized the next morning that the reason we were so cramped, was because the beds were full size, not queens.

No frills. Clean. Impressive water pressure(shower). Staff was helpful.

Could use some updating. Elevator was questionable at times and the walls are very thin.

I stayed 6/3 through 6/5. They put me in room 202 which was below either an elephant or the cleaning staff doing laundry all night. I was not able to sleep at all for two nights. The noise started around 0200. The ceiling creaked and you could hear people above you all night. I wanted to leave after the first night but since it was after noon the front desk said they had to charge me for a second night. After I woke up the second day there was a nasty brown roach in the bathroom scurrying about. I took multiple photos and video so it could not be disputed. It made me feel disgusting. When I checked out they did not ask how my stay was or anything. I will be filing a complaint with the appropriate people.

The staff here is excellent. Breakfast has many choices. The walls are very thin, you can hear phone conversations from other rooms.

Convenient location. Quiet. Most comfortable mattress.

Room had great bedding

The staff was wonderful, engaging, polite, and very helpful. Unfortunately, we could hear everything through the walls around us and the floors above us. Also, the fan in the heating/cooling unit would kick in on high and make a really loud noise and wake us up. The bathroom fan worked well, but it also had a very high pitch screech when it was turned on. It’s an older building.

The room was big enough and the beds were comfy. Air conditioner was great. The breakfast had multiple hot options and was above average. It was clean and stocked adequately

Nice & clean. Newer rooms are very functional & well laid out. However, the total price (room, taxes, & fees) of a king bed room totalled $309 per night which is too expensive. Next time we'll shop around for sure.

The hotel was very clean and the room was very nice. The staff at the front desk was very kind and helpful.

Excellent customer service. Toilet overflowed and staff came to resolve promptly and neatly. Kudos to housekeeper Evelyn, houseman Victor and Assistant General Manager Jami.

This hotel is my go to when I’m am in town. My other favorite was sold out and this is my second favorite. I enjoy this place, I don’t enjoy the rude manger who is not patient and pretty much by force kicked me out and did not return my incidental fee because I wasn’t ready to leave at 11am check out with my toddler. I came back for a second visit and I had a terrible check in experience, I will be back for a third visit soon in the next six month and I hope this experience tops the last two. I do enjoy the convenience of this location so I’ll be back and on guard

Stayed here a month ago and still haven’t gotten my deposit back, even after calling SEVERAL times.

Your average hotel, no frills, but for the price it was cool. Room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable and shower pressure was good. Lots of stores and restaurants nearby. However, you could hear everything thru the thin walls. We were greeted with an attitude by the Front desk clerk (Toya), as a few of us waited 10/15 mins before she came down the elevator and proceeded on her personal call while checking us in. We weren’t sure if she was talking to us or them. Later in the evening and throughout our stay she was pleasant, but 1st impressions are everything and I’m really big on customer service. After all, I can get a bed anywhere, I choose to pay for service.

Booked in so we were close to Dulles Airport. Hotel was pleasant enough with good breakfast options. Service and room was good and the area seemed fine with shops/food outlets nearby.

Hotel was clean, staff were friendly and polite. Breakfast included was fairly good. Would recommend having additional staff during that time as a couple of items needed to be refilled but the staff member was moving quickly.

Clean updated bathroom, comfortable beds with extra pillows and a useful desk lamp made my stay great. My only issue was that breakfast ended at 9am which I missed out on. I did make coffee though which was great.

I was looking forward to scrambled eggs and sausage links but there was none.

Pleasant, friendly staff, and very clean room. The whole hotel was clean including outside entrance. The breakfast had plenty of selection and the area was clean.

Stayed enroute to Florida Weather was nasty so we had to get off the road. Hotel is up to date, clean, has good water pressure and comfortable beds. They could do with a towel upgrade. Theirs were rough and thin Breakfast was just okay. Eggs were rubbery

I don't know why I don't always choose Holiday Inn Express hotels....they are amazing! Super comfortable beds/sheets/pillows (soft & firm); full-size bottles of lotion, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, & body wash (all brand name); front desk very helpful when checking in; food at breakfast had an impressive variety of hot & cold items.

The hotel offers free breakfast which literally has everything you wish to eat in the morning.

The staff were so nice!! No matter the time of day, they met us with a cheerful hello! The breakfast also did not dissapoint, with on the spot pancakes, eggs, bacon, oatmeal, bagels, patries, yogurt and more, you definitely could not ask for more! Rooms were clean and well managed. I highly recommend this Holiday Inn Express
