Typical Red Roof Inn. We liked the parking at front door style of this motel and that was close to restaurants. The breakfast selection was not great, even for a continental.

Room was big; bed comfortable. Good size refrigerator and a microwave. Shower was decent. Front desk clerk had no personality and barely spoke. Not welcoming at all. Ice machine did not work in the morning. No box of tissues, just a little packet. Soap dispensers worked poorly. No extra toilet paper. Fixtures were very loose. No side table for right side of the bed. Light on that side needed an extension cord because they are no outlets on that side either. TV worked poorly and only a handful of channels. Breakfast was very mediocre. No coffee or juice. Waffles were watered down. Few choices. Place needs upkeep desperately. We would not stay there again unless desperate.

All drains were plugged up somewhat and slow to drain. Took shower and water was ankle deep. Gross. Only one washcloth and 1 set of towels. Paint peeling off ceiling molding. Not happy this time. Sure not worth $95.

The room was dirty as was the bed and bathroom. The bed had dirt around the mattress and the sheets were gray. All the surfaces were filthy. The one chair in room was stained. We were disgusted and went to sleep in our car.

Location was good for what we were doing, the hotel did have a musty odor and mold in the bathroom and the floors had debris and dirt on them as soon as we entered. it severed it's purpose for our needs.

It was VERY apparent that the sheets were never changed before our arrival. The floors and bathroom were dirty and the faucet was wobbly. We had booked another night for the following week for our return trip and canceled it immediately after seeing this room.

This was an unbelievably bad place to stay The TV wouldn't work, the rod for the shower curtain was ready to fall off, and the wall lights were hanging by a thread and crooked. The breakfast that was advertised was almost nonexistent. There was no juice or waffles for cereal, and the few pastries that were there were certainly at least a day old. And the coffee must have been heated up from a previous day. We have generally been okay with Red Roof, but this was aweful.

The property is clean and nicely kept. Although the building is older, the owners are keeping it nice and as up to day as possible. The bathroom is updated and the furniture is nice and new. This property as all the niceties of the surrounding much older overnight lodging. The building is adjacent to and ABC store and that seems to be where the noise is coming from.

Was staying here for SC State Homecoming. Water was hot; Fridge was ice cold. Outside of the location being perfect from the campus for my peace of mind; this hotel was horrible. First and foremost, they cancelled my reservation before I arrived, and charged me for it. Second, the room was not secure as to I had to constantly make sure the door wouldn’t pop open whenever you pushed the door. When housekeeping came to check on me Saturday, they knocked on the door & it opened with little to no force. Thirdly, there was no sitting furniture for the said room. My guest had to sit on the bed. Fourth, the television not the cable box worked. Fifth, the shower head was not secure onto the faucet therefore causing the flow of the water to be limited as far as reach. Sixth, the phone and outlet/light went out on one side of the bed. And lastly, the ceiling was cracked at the roof of the room and was visible on one side. Checkout was very impersonal and unprofessional. Would only recommend this place as a pass-by spot. Do not stay if you’re used to high-end hotels.

When we arrived the temp outside was 90 and the rooms air conditioning was not on so the room was at least 90 inside and took 6 hours to cool the room to a desirable temp that we could even try to sleep. The room was in poor condition. Would never stay again

Had numerous issues with tvs not working. They switched my room because they couldn’t get it to work. Came back to my room on the second night of my two night stay to my room key not working. The front desk tried arguing saying I only paid for one night instead of two that I did. After pulling up my reservation again they said “oh well” and updated the room key. No apologies were given. No toliet paper rack as it was yanked off the wall previously. House keeping didn’t clean good. Trash on the floor. Smoking room with no ashtrays. Asked for a wake up call at 6:30am for an event I attended and never received a call. Overall headache due to the numerous complaints and couldn’t enjoy my stay. Will NEVER come back to this place again.

Was staying here for SC State Homecoming. Water was hot; Fridge was ice cold. Outside of the location being perfect from the campus for my peace of mind; this hotel was horrible. First and foremost, they cancelled my reservation before I arrived, and charged me for it. Second, the room was not secure as to I had to constantly make sure the door wouldn’t pop open whenever you pushed the door. When housekeeping came to check on me Saturday, they knocked on the door & it opened with little to no force. Thirdly, there was no sitting furniture for the said room. My guest had to sit on the bed. Fourth, the television not the cable box worked. Fifth, the shower head was not secure onto the faucet therefore causing the flow of the water to be limited as far as reach. Sixth, the phone and outlet/light went out on one side of the bed. And lastly, the ceiling was cracked at the roof of the room and was visible on one side. Checkout was very impersonal and unprofessional. Would only recommend this place as a pass-by spot. Person at check in was on phone whole time. Just pointed to where to sign. Could not get WiFi and went to office for help, he was still on phone. Said he would send someone to help, they never showed. Property was ok for RRI, person at desk needs to learn business manners

Had numerous issues with tvs not working. They switched my room because they couldn’t get it to work. Came back to my room on the second night of my two night stay to my room key not working. The front desk tried arguing saying I only paid for one night instead of two that I did. After pulling up my reservation again they said “oh well” and updated the room key. No apologies were given. No toliet paper rack as it was yanked off the wall previously. House keeping didn’t clean good. Trash on the floor. Smoking room with no ashtrays. Asked for a wake up call at 6:30am for an event I attended and never received a call. Overall headache due to the numerous complaints and couldn’t enjoy my stay. Will NEVER come back to this place again.

Front desk person seems annoyed that he has to check us in. The refrigerator was making loud noise. The bed has hair in it. The towel has a sticky stain in it. Outside from our room there were peoples hanging out at the store next to the parking lot of the hotel and we can hear them all night.

The property is clean and nicely kept. Although the building is older, the owners are keeping it nice and as up to day as possible. The bathroom is updated and the furniture is nice and new. This property as all the niceties of the surrounding much older overnight lodging. The building is adjacent to and ABC store and that seems to be where the noise is coming from.

Well appointed and convenient to I-95. Friendly staff and a good place to get to dogs for a run. We are partial to rooms that exit directly to the parking lot, it makes it easier to take the dogs out.

This was an unbelievably bad place to stay The TV wouldn't work, the rod for the shower curtain was ready to fall off, and the wall lights were hanging by a thread and crooked. The breakfast that was advertised was almost nonexistent. There was no juice or waffles for cereal, and the few pastries that were there were certainly at least a day old. And the coffee must have been heated up from a previous day. We have generally been okay with Red Roof, but this was aweful.

Room was big; bed comfortable. Good size refrigerator and a microwave. Shower was decent. Front desk clerk had no personality and barely spoke. Not welcoming at all. Ice machine did not work in the morning. No box of tissues, just a little packet. Soap dispensers worked poorly. No extra toilet paper. Fixtures were very loose. No side table for right side of the bed. Light on that side needed an extension cord because they are no outlets on that side either. TV worked poorly and only a handful of channels. Breakfast was very mediocre. No coffee or juice. Waffles were watered down. Few choices. Place needs upkeep desperately. We would not stay there again unless desperate.

Refrigerator and microwave were both broken. Our ice melted in the freezer. The sink drained very, very slowly. There were blood stains on the pillowcase and other stains on the comforter. Washcloth was discolored, dirty looking. Breakfast was terrible. Don’t recommend. Other Red Roofs have been good.
