Otelin girişi sıkıntılı, araç girişi için 2 kapısı var, aracı birakmak için kullanılan kapi resepsiyona çok uzak, bavullar ile uzun uzun koridorlarda yürümek zorunda kaldık. Wife and i had an absolutely perfect experience here. Extremely clean and staff was very professional and polite, they are happy and eager to help you with anything. Great breakfast buffet with diverse food options. Very clean and cozy room. Free wifi throughout the whole place. Pool area was awesome! Excellent service and very clean. I stayed for three nights on business. This was my first time in Izmir and I'm glad I booked at the Swissotel. My room was spacious, clean, and quiet. The breakfast was outstanding. I think this was the best spread of breakfast items I have seen in Turkey during my travels. I didn't have a chance to access the pool, but the grounds were beautiful and it had been warmer I would have spent some time outside by the pool. The immediate vicinity didn't have a lot of restaurant options, but if you walk north and then go left at the first stoplights, you can enjoy a nice walk down a market street and then at the end of the market street is where you will see a lot of great shops and restaurants. I grabbed a great dinner and some baklava, which was vacuumed sealed so I could take it back to Canada. This hotel is close to the water and only a 15 minute walk from the famous huge market in Izmir, which seemed to stretch on forever (I almost got lost). If I visit Izmir again, I will definitely book this hotel if the price is right!

We have been staying here every time we visit Izmir. Everything is top quality and all members of the crew are extremely kind and welcoming. You feel welcomed the moment you enter the hotel and the feeling stays the same your whole trip. I highly recommend the breakfast buffet. The food is top quality and the variety is great too. The kids love both the indoor and the outdoor pools. The gym is fully equipped and everything is clean and well maintained.

The Efes Swiss never disappoints, after the big Hilton's closing, it has become the best option in the downtown area. The only sad part was that the open pool wasn't open yet in mid-April although weather was really nice. I hope I will be able to swim there next time!

This was the most expensive and unfortunately, the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I traveled from New York and stayed for 7 days following a hair transplant surgery, expecting a comfortable and accommodating stay. Sadly, it was far from it. To start, the pricing is unreasonable. A single bottle of water from the minibar was 7 euros, despite the already high room rate. One evening, while recovering and unable to leave the hotel, I ordered room service a cappuccino and a slice of cake with ice cream for 17 euros. I expected at least a decent experience at that price, but the cappuccino was made with instant coffee and milk powder, and the cake was terrible. Worse still, a hotel staff member entered my room around 10 PM without knocking or calling ahead while I was inside. Their explanation was that they hadn’t been able to “provide service” because I hadn’t left the room all day. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. It was a serious breach of privacy and made me feel very unsafe. To top it all off, as I was checking out, I was charged an extra 200 TL per day for parking in the hotel’s lot. I’ve stayed in many hotels across different countries and have never encountered a hotel charging their own guests for parking like this. I would absolutely not recommend this hotel. What should have been a comfortable recovery stay turned into a stressful and disappointing experience. Swissôtel Büyük Efes gives a bad impression of Izmir and Turkey. I will never return

I always stay at Swiss Hotel when visiting Izmir. Each time my experience and appreciation is more positive and enjoyable. The staff are always wonderful, and service at the pool, restaurants and room service are better than most hotels at $1,000/night. The breakfast is vast in selection and the quality of the food, vegetables, and fruits are as fresh as can be found. Sixt-Rent a car is within the premises and the Purcell spa & fitness center are a great place to checkout, with superb service and equipment. Now I understand why all friends advise me to stay at this hotel and why I won’t be staying anywhere else when in Izmir and will be recommending this vast and expansive hotel, over any new high rise or 5 star ⭐️ hotel in Izmir. Thank You Sadi the Concierge/Bell Supervisor, Ilker at front desk, and save the best for last, Barca who speaks more proper English than most native speakers and makes us feel at home like no one else. All this and more at the Swiss Hotel in Izmir is what makes me feel I’m at home and why Izmir most likely will be our 3rd home away from US. See you very Soon and Thank You.

Staying at the Swissotel Büyük Efes İzmir has been one of the best hotel experiences I had in years and I’m a frequent traveller. It’s location made it very convenient for sightseeing on foot as well as by the ferry and by car. From the first moment we set foot into the premises to the check out every single employee of the hotel worked tirelessly to make you feel welcome. The breakfast included plenty of good quality food options to choose from. The spa facilities at the hotel are excellent as well. Highly recommended stay for a perfect city escape.

Everything and everybody service was excellent except for our dinner at Scappi was overcooked and cold and the service was below what is expected from a restaurant of that class and price. Also, we had asked for a quiet room and were assigned a room whete there was a lot of traffic noise.

The hotel is massive, very clean and well maintained. My room was also quite big with everything I wanted: a coffee machine, huge bed, a bath. The breakfast was good. I’d only recommend allowing guests to make their own tea or coffee. I was waiting for my tea to be made by the waiter for 15 minutes and no tea was brought to me in the end. The restaurant is open at 6:30, but they are still running around preparing stuff, bread toaster for example wasn’t turn on and it took 20 minutes for it to warm up (I couldn’t wait because of my morning flight) so boast or tea for me that day😿 A cleaning lady was banging my door at night asking if I wanted some tea (not sure why) and my room phone called around 2 am.. Reception desk people were very helpful and nice. I’d come again.

This hotel was perfect for our family stay in Izmir. The hotel and its rooms are spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable and the overall service at the hotel was great.
