Upon check-in we were greeted by Shena with a big smile and friendly, fantastic attitude. We were a family of 14 driving from Albany NY on our way to Myrtle Beach. It's our annual vacation and we stay at this hotel every year. Our TV remote control needed batteries and Shena happily brought them to our room and installed them. She also told us if there's anything we need, to just let her know. This was by far our best experience at this hotel. The only issue was the lack of working ice machines. The first floor machine was unplugged, and the only working machine was located on the fourth floor.

The woman that was on at night was AMAZING! The rooms were dirty, smelled like mildew, pool was unusable because of how green and dirty it was. Spiders in corners, stains on the rugs, broken outlets etc.

Friendly staff - very important to me. Little things that could be better - water fountain not working outside of exercise room - and some bathroom soaps and lotions empty. Fun pool, exercise room good to have, in general a great hotel. I’ll use it again.

A system update resulted in the hotel's inability to generate room keys. Each guest had to be escorted to their room each they left and returned to the hotel. For example, we checked in, and then went to dinner. When we returned, someone had to escort us to our room. The same thing happened the next morning after returning to the room after breakfast. This was a slight nuisance, but the staff did their very best to be accomodating. They were great! The second issue was a bit more concerning. We stayed in a wheel chair access room. When we took shower, all of the water flooded the bathroom as well as the entrance. This was due to a drainage issue. We spent quite a bit of teying to use towells to get up the excess water. We showed the hotel manager when she came to give us more towels to put on the floor, and she agreed there was an issue with the shower's drainage. She offered us another room, but by that time we were already settled into the room. Since we were only there 1 night, it wasn't practicle to move. We deserve a partial refund.

Pleasant, efficient check in. Room was clean but there were some old stains on the carpet. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Remote controlled window shade did not work. Parking was tight but we finally found a space (lots of electric company trucks due to recent storm, some needed more than one space.) Road noise from I-95 was very noticeable from our side of the building which faced the highway. Toilet ran intermittently all night - loud enough to disturb me as I'd finally almost fall asleep. I am a light sleeper so it might not annoy another person. Breakfast described as continental but actually a bit more substantial with waffle makers, egg white frittatas, sausage patties and home fried potatoes. Didn't use the gym or pool but both of those areas looked clean and inviting. I'd stay here again but would ask for a room on the opposite side of the building.

We had a room with 2 queen beds. One bed had not been changed. Dirty spots(stains) and hair on the sheets and spots on the pillows. TOTALLY DISCUSSING!!!!! There were no housekeeping personal avaliable to change the bed. The person at the front desk had a gentleman from maintenance come to check the room and saw the condition of the bed in question. He apologize for the inconvenience, and helped us move to another room. We didn't find any issues with the second room that was given to us.

Worst Hampton Inn I stayed in with my small dog. 208.16 for a substandard 2 bed room. Drain in sink was clogged with hair and would not drain. Black stuff under toilet lip could be scrubbed. TV remote wouldn’t work. Very dark room with only 2 lights in between beds and one on desk. Could hear entire conversation of man next door in locked adjoining room. Coffee maker was not cleaned from prior patron. Skip this Hampton Inn. Not of the standards you are accustomed to receiving at other Hampton Inns.

The hotel hallway smelled of dirty feet and there was dried dirt all over the floor. The room was filthy and needed to be updated. There was visible damage on the walls that needed repair. The shower curtain had mold on it and the remote to our television was broken. The room quality was that of a $30 rate at best. I would not recommend to anyone.

The air conditioner in our room did not work at all just fan mode. The room is kinda run down. The door to the room was pretty dirty like somebody spilled something on it. For 200.00 dollars, I expected something nicer. I did not report the air conditioner because we arrived so late at night.

I booked because of the ratings but i don’t think 5 stars means what these people think it means. For the price I’ve stayed in hotels that were half the price and twice the condition and amenities. The fixtures were old, the internet was horrible, tv tiny, rooms outdated, etc. The staff were fine but for the price a i would definitely not go again. I’d take a chance at the red roof in across the street who has better internet connectivity than hotel itself, lol.

The tv was not hooked up when we got there. The bathroom door got stuck trapping me in the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was not kept stocked, we had to ask for things like silverware, sugar, bread, etc.

We always like to stay in Hampton Inn on our way to Florida or The Carolinas. The room is always clean. The night person had a terrible attitude. The morning person at checkout was uninformed and did not answer any of our questions. Like why did you charge me $25 for my support dog? She said we would have to call corporate.

Arrived at hotel @ 9:45. There was no one at the reception desk. Just a sign, saying to enjoy coffee and will be back in five minutes. That five minutes turned into a half an hour when the clerk finally arrived she said she was busy cleaning rooms and that’s why she wasn’t at her post. This is a 24 hour hotel. I should always be someone at the desk. There is no security. Absolutely no one

Arrived at 9pm for my reservation witj my.dmall children to be told the 3rd party booker expedia overbooked them and tney had no room to give. Woman was rude and refused to even make eye contact with me. Told me good lucl getting a refund from expedia. Contacted expedia immediately whom attemtped to try tje jotel and was unsuccessful. Today tried ahain for expedia to be told i was a no show, which i was not and ended up staying next door at tje comfort inn. Still fighting for a refund from the hotel and expedia.

Hotel was OK, seemed short staffed. Went to front desk and the agent was outside smoking. They saw me, gave me the one second sign and then smoked and chatted on phone for about 5 minutes before coming back to desk. Rooms were not up to the usual standard. Mold on shower curtain and possible blood stain on comforter.

Great place to stop for the night. Not a huge choice of "sit down" restaurants in the direct vicinity of the hotel, but otherwise the hotel and its location are a plus for anyone going up and down the coast.

Leftover food in our fridge when we entered room. No shampoo in pump container in shower. Noisy AC, ran constantly but room thermostat always said 75. Hampton breakfast that we always had enjoyed was woefully lacking. No hot eggs, no syrup, coffee ran out, milk ran out. No yogurt, etc

I stay here because of the consistency of room cleanliness and comfortable bed and bedding is super. Check in was a little slow this time and the coffee area was lacking product. Also, my room only had one cup. Breakfast was good. I still find this hotel a good value.

In the middle of a 9 hour car trip, the Hampton Inn was welcome stop. Check in was quick and easy. The room was clean and well furnished with everything I needed. Breakfast was very good too. I would definitely stay here again
