No ice no coffee maker in room and breakfast was not good

Ice machine didn’t work the pool wasn’t open and people hollering alright outside

Reserved a king got two queens. Ice machine did not work. Breakfast was subpar they ran out of milk.

Kids loved the pool and room was spacious

Terrible- would like a refund. Pool was empty, hotel half full- guy gives me a room in the middle of the second floor. Had to carry heavy bags up stairs. Tv did not work, ice machine was out of order. I was so tired and had to deal with this after traveling for 8 hours. Reese offered to move me- he gave me a room opposite side of building. At first I thought it was right under my room. I was too tired to re pack everything.

Very disappointed that the pool was not open considering we were never notified of it. I had 2 rooms with sad kids! Very upsetting. Then management called our room and asked my daughter to move our cars (which were parked in regular Un marked spaces) because other guests wanted to park there! The audacity!!!!

Easy to get into and park a big Uhaul. Clean and seems safe!

Place is being renovated we stayed in an updated room. Family friendly. Clean pool, sheets and towels. Bathroom was clean and updated as well. If your traveling with small children note there is no tub. Felt safe mexican restaurant food is good as well.

The floors of the room were dirty, my sheets full of stains, I asked for a room in the non-smoking area and we could barely sleep because of the bad smell that entered the room, if we weren't far from home I would have packed up and fled from here.

The pillow cases on the bed was stained.

Didn't like the dead bug, belly up in the corner of the bathroom. Didn't like the overall poor condition and lack of maintenance and upgraded facilities in general. Very poor condition for Wyndham hotel.

We really, really like staying here. The staff are lovely (very professional and helpful), the rooms are very clean and modern, and the property is clean and well kept. It’s also very convenient to get to (right off the I-95).

The recent stay at Days Inn by Wyndham Emporia was quite disappointing. The assigned room (July 7-8) had a noticeable musty odor. The air conditioning unit struggled to cool the space, even on its highest setting. Additionally the carpet was very old. We were very itchy in the morning. There may be bed bugs! One large dead roach was found by the air conditioner unit. The bathroom door would not close and the door knob was loose. The hotel staff was generally polite, but the overall amenities and room quality didn't justify the price paid. On the positive side, the hotel's location is excellent, to stop and rest before continuing the drive down to the south. However, the condition of the room significantly impacted the ability to enjoy the stay. It is hoped that the hotel considers addressing these concerns to improve the guest experience.

This was the most awful hotel we have ever stayed in. The room was dirty, crumbs on the tables, the floor made our two year old son’s feet black, the mirrors had streaks and dirt on them. The shampoos were used, not new. The beds were not queen. Maybe full. The bathroom door was hanging off the hinge and the front door was also broken. You could see through the crack to outside. There were 2 chairs in the room. One was broken and the other was extremely dirty. I took a picture of the chair because it was so disgusting. We will be writing a letter to Days Inn HQ or Wyndham HQ or both. The breakfast was absolutely terrible too. We have been to other Days Inn and the breakfast was pretty good. Not at this location. It looks old.

The bed, they really need to get something. To put you're clothes in. There's no closet. There's no drawers, All your stuff had to stand in the bag until you used it.

Front desk staff was very friendly. The beds were not so comfortable in room 141. Bed framing were metal so every move made the frame squeak loudly. I would have changed room but we arrived late and unloaded and did not want to move. The mattress was not so comfy either.

AC/Heating unit in room is loud. Springs on bed squeaked every time you move

Just a quick overnight on the road/ Clean and convenient. Good value but the walls or connecting door was paper thin. could hear the conversations of the folks in the room next door. Also TV had terrible reception and no way I could get it off of the "fuzzy" mode. Too late at night to bother anyway.

We loved the walk-in shower. We usually try to get an accessible room because my wife has mobility issues but there wasnt one available. However, the regular double room was spacious & had the walk-in shower so she was accommodated perfectly. Thank you!"

Kids loved the pool and room was spacious

Although some of the aspects of the room, such as the TV had been updated, channel selections were quite limited. Also, the door frame had a substantial gap against the door as there was a gap on the lower left side that was over 1", enough for insects or small rodents to enter. The staff was accommodating.

Totally renovated room. Loved what they did as we have stayed there before. Took out carpet and now has flooring. Great walk in shower. Clean smell. We will be back. Great job!!

The doors in two separate rooms allow a lot of sound in. I could hear conversations and traffic clearly

Check in was seamless but was charged 2x for room after checking in at front desk to get keys for room etc. Was refunded but was a headache

I reserved a room the day before I checked in. When I checked in, I told the guy at the desk my name & that I'd booked with Expedia. He found my name quickly and asked for ID & credit card. I asked for a ground floor room and he asked if I wanted a king bed. I said I don't care, I'd just like 1st floor, no smoking and he nodded & said, "Ok 1st floor SMOKING" so I said, "NO, NO smoking please" and he gave me keys to a room around the corner which I could tell immediately was a smoking room. It stunk of smoke & had an ashtray so I went back to the front desk, where the guy argued with me before telling me all he had left on the 1st floor other than that was in the new wing & I said that's fine. So he reprogrammed the keycards and I was off to the new wing where my room was newer and nicer than the earlier smoking room so I have no idea why he thought people wouldn't want to stay there. Other than that, the room was fine. Very, quiet and comfortable. Also, $7 less than what Expedia said, so YAY! Except I was double-charged and Expedia was rude about it. They would not accept my credit card statement as proof & wouldn't call the motel until after I left the chat & found the receipt & emailed it to them. Even then it took a day for them to acknowledge I'd been double charged & they blamed the motel.

We stayed in room 145, it was not in the "renovated" area. Outside of the room there was a strong smell of urine. Inside of the room it was not as bad, but did not smell neutral. The beds were noisy, whenever my kid turned I would woke up. The AC was also noisy. The receptionist was not very welcoming when we arrived. Barely talked to us, just handed papers and said generally where the room was. I would not stay there again. We arrived at 11:30pm and left at 7am. Happy it was a short overnight.

The woman at the front desk was friendly and courteous very professional

The Days Inn, Emporia, is undergoing a remodel so the exterior has construction things in the parking lot. At check in the Desk Clerk took an extensive amount of time with the two parties that were ahead of me because she was having to use both front desk computers and an issue with the credit card reader. I was in the lobby over 20 minutes before I was checked in.

Front desk people are awesome! Very friendly!

We were traveling and the hotel was very close to 95. It waa very clean and comfortable. The staff helpful and nice.

Great place to pull off I-95 quickly, at a great price, nothing fancy.

Everything was up to code. No complaints. I felt safe in the neighborhood. For the most part quiet location.

You get what you pay for and for what we paid for, this place was overpriced. If you only need a place to sleep and then move on then this will have to do. Way too expensive and skip the included breakfast entirely!

the continental breakfast was extremely disappointing. it was toast and waffles. very sad about that.

First room- refrigerator didn’t work. They gave us a different room. In that one, the microwave and refrigerator didn’t work! No breakfast (as advertised)available due to construction ! Advertising said hotel was newly renovated-the renovation isn’t finished!

I stayed here last year and decided to stay again this year. They look like they have updated some more things but not just right. The soap dish was way too small for the space in the large shower area. I could barely put my soap dish on top of it. The hook on the back of the bathroom door was at the top of the door. For those who are height challenged, this can be an issue. Then there was not a hand towel rack by the sink, since the sink is outside of the toilet area. So if someone is in the shower/toliet area and you want to wash and dry your hands, there are no towels there. Overall, it was still a nice stay but those small changes will make it better. Breakfast still had some good options. Breakfast biscuits with and without meat, oatmeal, cereal, assorted pastries, yogurt, coffee and juices. The staff were nice and friendly.

Breakfast was promised an advertisement, and when we got there, it was under construction, and no allowances were made. They did not even put coffee out. Very disappointing. Otherwise property was fair.
