The place was clean, beds comfortable and fantastic pillows! The kitchen was well stocked and the bathroom had extra toothbrushes and other items often forgotten. We will definately come back! One suggestion, the steps could use grippers especially during the rainy season.

This was a very nice condo. Clean and cozy. Beds were comfy. Kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed eating supper on the deck. We were only a few streets from the Lakeside gate. We were very pleased with everything.

Cute, cozy, and clean nautical themed loft apartment. Less than a mile from Kelley's Island ferry, with easy access to East Harbor Park. Hosts were friendly. Apartment had all the amenities we needed and more. Our kids loved the board games and the beach toys (we would never have thought of bringing). We cooked breakfast and dinner every day in the kitchen. We loved to enjoy the nice open deck and the fresh lake breeze. Very satisfying stay.

Terrific value for a house at Lakeside. Immediately, we took to the layout and terrific use of space. Only disappointing thing was the inability to walk to Lakeside beach. Google maps decieves you into thinking it is a short walk down several blocks. But the whole gate around Lakeside prevents this as the house is clearly just outside the gate. Thankfully, we discovered the work around: driving to the free parking lot next to the west gate into Lakeside and getting the 2 hour shopping pass (also free). REALLY wish the owner had explained this process in the welcome literature. But once we figured this out, we had two terrific evenings in town and the birds nest was a lovely retreat to return to. We highly recommend staying here. I might add that the owner was very flexible with check out times.

This was the perfect place to stay while visiting friends who live in the area. The A/C was super nice during the heatwave, and the amenities were thoughtful and useful when our 12 year old realized she forgot her toothbrush. The communication from Paul, amenities, and cozy home are the gold standard for VRBO.

We enjoyed the comfortable and coziness of the place. It was on a corner lot but was very quiet. They helped get our luggage up to our place and when bad weather came, they offered for us to stay in basement with them. Very nice people

The hosts were excellent at communicating from the beginning through the end. They checked in when we arrived and during to see if we needed anything. This upstairs cottage was clean, well-stocked and nicely decorated with all the light, beach styles that remind us of what we love about Lakeside. Even being here in the winter, we enjoyed the peacefulness of the area. Being off the main road we expected more road noise, but we didn't notice it at all. We had a lovely, cozy stay!

My friend and I enjoyed our two day stay at Bird's Nest. The location was very convenient to Marblehead and Lakeside. The host included many extras in the kitchen and bathroom. The grounds were lovely. We had a slight problem with the bathroom lights and as soon as we called the host he was right over to solve the problem. We would definitely stay again.

This adorable 2 BR 1 Bath second floor apartment is just where you want to stay if you are near Marblehead. Very close to Lakeside/Chatauqua, Kelly's Island ferry and Marblehead lighthouse. I was there after Labor Day and I had easy access to everything I wanted to see and do - without the summer traffic. The proprietors are onsite and very kind and easy to work with. I would definitely return on my next visit to this area.

The home was very nice, but Expedia gave the impression it was within the gates of Lakeside, Ohio. We were expecting to park at the rental then walk everywhere. But we could not do that since the location was more distant for walking. Other than the location, the rental was very nice.
