Renaissance Charlotte SouthPark Hotel

Gifts for my kids were thrown away by housekeeping. ​My kids love cookies and pretzels from Trader Joe's, so I drove 40 minutes round-trip to buy about $60 worth of snacks. However, housekeeping threw them all away, claiming they thought it was trash. ​I cannot understand how anyone could confuse a double paper bag full of new, unopened snacks—with the receipt on top of them—for trash. ​The front desk offered me snacks from their lounge, but that is not what my kids wanted. I wouldn't have spent two hours shopping for specific snacks in the first place if just 'any' snack would do. I am deeply dissatisfied with this experience

Upon check-in, Paige at the front desk was exceptional! The room was lovely and South Park in Charlotte is a beautiful area to stay. Thank you Renaissance for a wonderful experience!

The location is great. The room was decent. The parking is easy and free. Having to sign up for things or pay just to get internet is not very guest friendly. Overall is was a good stay.

the staff was delightful during a time when families were stranded with their pets for the ice storm. They were working long hours with smiles on their faces.
