Clean good breakfast

This was a nice spot to stay for a couple nights while we were attending a wedding in the area. The suite was nice and clean and the staff at the counter and at breakfast were really great. They could probably use another elevator as the wait seemed like it might be an issue. We were just taking the stairs since we were on the second floor, but obviously that’s not an option for everyone. The only issue I had was with the location. The area itself seemed okay; not the nicest in my opinion, but I don’t really know Charlotte very well. My issue was more with access in/out while driving. You can only turn right out of the parking lot, which meant you had to do a U-Turn a little bit down Tryon Street if you needed to go the other way. You may be able to get to the street another way if you go back behind the hotel, but we didn’t try this, we were just following GPS. The other issue was just the intersection in general… it is pretty heavy traffic through here and takes forever to get through no matter which way we were coming from. The traffic lights around here just seem like a mess. I initially didn’t want to remove a star for this since it might not be an issue for some people (especially if you aren’t going in and out a whole lot), but it was actually very inconvenient and held us up multiple times. While I wouldn’t mind staying in this hotel again, I wouldn’t stay in this area again.

This place is beautiful, clean, and safe; I would return.

Room was clean and comfy. Breakfast was good.

Staff was helpful, airport shuttle was convenient and the room was very spacious. I would definitely stay here again.
