Beautiful, exceptional hotel and restaurant. This is the only property of its kind in Iceland and it feels just like that. Best meal I had all trip, incredible staff, and so much attention to detail you can feel it around every corner. I have to come back when the spa finally opens.

Breakfast included in the stay was excellent! Dinner at the hotel restaurant the night before was good….but veeery expensive. The location was great, right on the black sand beach. The room was a bit hot to my liking, and the temperature couldn’t be changed,

If I could give this place six stars I would. The location was beautiful and the breakfast was amazing. The views alone of the ocean and Iceland were wonder. The hotel was completely worth it and I would love to stay here again.

Property is still under construction — amenities are not yet ready and there is lots of construction noise on site during the day. There also seem to be communication issues between staff members, with one promising one thing that others do not know about. On the plus side, the restaurant is amazing — thank you for an incredible meal!
