Stayed 7 nights

Stayed at Xmas with family that had travelled from Melbourne. Location fantastic however we were disappointed with the fit out. Tired furniture throughout, beds uncomfortable with lumpy pillows, and the dishwasher is only a half drawer appliance and not located in the kitchen downstairs where food is prepared. Overall the layout a bit dysfunctional and for the peak price (1000 a night) it didn't meet our expectations.

Great pet friendly property, Amazing upstairs and downstairs living area and we especially loved the wood fire on these cold winter nights. Very disappointed with having to pay for linen given how expensive it was to for a short 4 night break!

The deck is the hero of this house - fantastic for all-weather lounging looking out at the treetops. House is thoughtfully & generously appointed, upstairs and down. Beach over the road is wonderful for little kids (though being a dog exercise beach, it might not suit some). We loved the walk/bike path through the peppy trees too. Only reservations are (a) that most of the sleeping berths are bunk beds - there's only one genuine dbl/queen bed and (b) house is on a bend and cars tend to whiz at speed along the road in front - so take care!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved having our dogs with us. The house is very comfortable and the outdoor BBQ area is amazing. The location is ideal.

We loved Sand Castles. Only one thing missing. A large dishwasher in main kitchen. A lot of water wasted washing up. The living area upstairs with fabulous huge balcony was perfect. We had our dogs & my two granddaughters enjoying the size of the home & activities provided.
