Stayed 3 nights

We booked our weekend getaway in Cabin 3 without knowing anything at all about it. More out of convenience than anything - dates were available, price was affordable, and dog was allowed. We didn’t know we were in for one of the most enjoyable, relaxing weekends we’ve ever had! Best decision ever. What a hidden gem this place is! Max (super nice guy!) has done an amazing job keeping the grounds quaint and cute. With the babbling brook, hammock, fire pits, lounge chairs, fishing docks and scenery, it’s literally a stress-free zone. The cabins are simple, rustic, and cute, just keep in mind they were built in the 40’s and have been updated to add bathrooms, so there’s no choice but for the bathrooms to be small. Still so worth it for all the charm of the property as a whole. Next time we go back, we want to stay in Cabin 11 which is more updated and directly on the edge of the lake with a deck - next time! Thank you so much Max, for taking such good care of this place! We’ll be back!

We had a wonderful stay, the lake is gorgeous and the cabin is as described. It was very cozy and the communication with the owner was great. This is somewhere I'd definitely stay again.

Wonderfully appointed small cabin, lakeside. Water toys available for free use. Very quiet. Cabins are older but very clean and cute.

There was so much to do at Lake Augusta Cabins. Since I was there getting ready for a family reunion in Watkins I didn't make use of the kayaks and other water equipment but I loved swimming in the lake at the end of the day. Great place and just my idea of a lake cabin. Small, has the essentials (AC was great) but a place where I'm likely to spend most of my time outside. Max was a great host.
