We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Excess. We had a lovely room overlooking the garden where we could hear the birds along with the church bells. Lorenzo assisted us with a delicious breakfast each day. We would definitely go back.

The neighborhood is great bc it is not as jam packed with tourists but within walking distance to everything. The hotel is quirky & I loved this about it! Not stale like a chain hotel & not trying too hard to be hip. There is a lovely garden space & a nice restaurant for your morning coffee or breakfast. The staff is friendly & helpful. I highly recommend having a drink at their very small but very charming bar,
