Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Pampa by IHG

The pool and work out areas were both closed. The beds were not comfortable and the trays of food for breakfast were empty for over 30 minutes. When someone finally found the attendant, she took a few minutes and replaced the eggs and brought out 2 trays of cinnamon rolls, with only one roll on each tray. We left and went someplace else for breakfast.

Spa was closed. Pool should be. Nothing indicating it was closed.

Didnt say online their pool was under renovation. Which is the only reason i booked here. Breakfast was lack luster. Ran out of everything and only refilled the eggs. Probably wont be back. Halls smell like mildew. Disappointing.

There were roaches crawling in the hallway on the walls. The pool, hot tub was closed. One worker said it needed parts. There was hair from someone shaving in the bathroom sink as soon as we got their..

Breakfast was ok, but coffee was terrible. Pool was not usable. No hot tub. Maintenance could do a better job. Otherwise stay was good.

The first night the fire alarm was going on and off for about an hour at 2am. Staff could not figure out why of how to turn it off. Then I find out the next morning all the amenities time were expecting were all out of service. The pool was closed, the over was broken so the full breakfast was not available washer and dryer were broken. If I would have known this I would have gone somewhere less expensive and has the same amenities without a fire alarm going off in the middle of the night. After all that we don't get any kind of compensation. Only reason a gave a little higher score on service was because the day time lady I spoke to over the phone prior to the stay was very sweet and helpful.

The pool was out of order. The vending machines weren’t stocked with drinks. The breakfast was AWFUL. Bagels were so hard they couldn’t be eaten. The pancake machine wasn’t working and there was expired milk in the breakfast fridge. The expired milk in the breakfast fridge was also luke warm. The air conditioner in our room barely worked and the fridge in the room froze food on the bottom shelf and didn’t cool at all on top. Very disappointed in this stay

I was told that management would contact me about my stay. Manager’s card I was given is Anna by an employee named Anna, at the front desk. I stayed for one night, June 25th. The tub wasn’t draining properly and the sink at the wet bar was constantly dripping no matter how many failed attempts I made at stopping it’s drip, so that I could sleep. Luckily I had two beds and 8 pillows to choose from because there were unidentifiable hairs and fibers on the bedding. Drip-drip-drop was keeping me wide awake though, so I went downstairs and requested a new room. I lost atleast an hour of valuable rest time, dealing with the inconveniences of the room and transporting all of my things to the new one. It was ridiculous. And to not even hear from management..it’s unacceptable. Thanks but never again!!!

Walked into the first room and crazy but the beds were about halfway made, sink was covered in what i would calm crap and they're was a toilet cake sitting on top of the air conditioner smelling up the nasty room. Called to get a new room and had to go back down get keys get new bedding Ali that crap but still it sucked.

Check in was very fast & super welcoming friendly Service. Room was very clean, comfy & quiet.

We booked this hotel because the others in the Amarillo area were significantly more expensive. The property is kind of in the middle of nowhere, but there were quite a few dining options around. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the property was very quiet. Half of our room keys didn’t work and one of the doors to get into the room was a little janky. It didn’t close all the way and had difficulty opening. One of the rooms had a distinct musty cigarette smell. There was water damage to the ceiling in our room, and as we overlooked the other roofs to the property we could clearly tell why - many of the shingles were damaged or missing. Our room was clean with clean sheets and towels, but the carpets were stained. Not a single ice machine in the entire hotel was functioning. And a lot of the other amenities were broken down as well, like the pool and the washers/ dryers. Would I stay again? Yeah, maybe. The negative points were intolerable - which is why we stayed. But the property is being seriously neglected overall.

I will never stay at this holiday inn again and I had higher expectations for a Holiday Inn having had stayed in some very nice ones before.

Rooms very clean and nice. Beds were really comfortable. Breakfast was great and very clean area. I was very pleased with my stay.

I usually have good experience at Holiday Inn, and that is why I always look to stay on their properties, however Holiday Inn in Pampa TX was the worst choice ever, rooms are dirty, door protection devices were broken (room 205), dust everyhwere on the room, furniture is ripping apart, lamps had no light bulbs, not enough plugs, they offered breakfast from 7 to 10, however looks like they only fill their trays once, if you are not early enough you wont get the promised breakfast, no one attending the breakfast area, I have family in Pampa and will continue to visit the town but I will be looking to other lodging options, not sure if I will pause my relation with Holiday inn in other places because of this but absolutely will do when I go back to Pampa.

The rooms are outdated. The beds were rocks. Bathroom had drywall bubbled and peeling off from a water leak. Not worth the $150 I paid and will never stay there again.

I specifically picked this room for the jetted tub and it did not work. The employee at the counter was very nice, but didn’t know how to make it work. The mattress was sunk in on one side. It was just disappointing about the tub. I could have gotten a cheaper room instead of paying extra for it.

The worst mattress I have ever had to sleep on. Springs or coils were completely compressed leaving the mattress with huge deformations and craters where your upper body lies. My head was lower than my feet. Could hardly sleep a wink and had it not been so late when I got to my room I would have asked to change rooms. I booked this room for two nights with my girlfriend staying there both days/nights and me the second night. She’s very modest and didn’t tell me till that night I was able to come in from work and sleep there. You do not want to sleep in room 323 unless they have swapped this mattress out. Everything else was as it’s supposed to be. Clean room and sheets.

Had no hot water for the shower in room one, switched to another room and had almost no water pressure. Not. Good experience.

The heater was broken tv wouldn't change off the menu channel telephone had no cord shower head broken

Hotel is run down compared to my other stays there. Took 3 rooms to get one that had everything working. Manager and staff seem incompetent. Housekeeping pounded on my door at 10:45 am and checkout was 11 am. Couldn't give me a receipt at checkout. Manager assured me she would email it to me. I had to call to get it emailed. Really just in general how much lower level visit than I've had there before and I have stayed there 6 to 8 times in the last year. Staff did not seem to know what they were doing and that includes the manager and the hotel was not nearly as clean as it usually was and of course equipment in really poor shape in the rooms

Sherry the 3-11 shift was fantastic our second stay during our trip is here and everyone was great. Sherry stands out to me in my opinion above and beyond just issuing you a room

We recently stayed at this hotel twice actually on our way to/from Colorado. After a long day's drive this hotel was a safe, clean oasis and we enjoyed relaxing in our clean comfortable room. All the public areas were appealing, tidy and clean. The pool/hot area was also very clean and nice. The breakfast was good...the food was displayed in an organized, clean appetizing way with many choices. We definitely recommend this hotel!
