Super 8 by Wyndham Indianapolis/NE/Castleton Area

I went there because it said I have a pool which it does not have one so I wasted my time and my money to go there for no reason. It is very old and run down the rooms are in not that greatest shape in my room was supposed to be handicap accessible wheelchair accessible and it had a tub. I tried to add the photos that I took but it won't let me

Staff was very polite and friendly. Area is close too many things. Reason for lower ratings was the motel riom smelled kinda bad. Also one of the tvs did not work in the motel room. Also it said breakfast was included but ibwas told juice and a granola bar was breakfast. That is not a breakfast. Also pool was closed and it was outside. Price was not bad and revied would have being better if not do to the things i mentioned above

Very cleann rooms, hotel staff very helpful. However they advertise a pool, But it is closed down.

Dirty, dangerous stairs. No ice no screens no hot water and the sink backed up. I would ask for my money back at least partially of it because it was horrible but I know I’m dreaming never will. I stay there again ever

Super 8 was listed with a swimming pool as an attraction,yet they're pool was out of operation indefinitely as it has been for multiple years now.So why list it in the advertisement? But, It does have a nice scenic view over a body of water. I like that!

It was a terrible place to stay for the money. The pool was closed and never looked like it was ever open to begin with. The room had holes in the wall and carpet. The paint was mismatched and still had drywall mud on them. The room was poorly lit. The door to get in the room didn't work all the time. My kids had a hard time getting out of there. You had to really pull up or down to get the striker to move out of the jam.

only good thing here was more space than usual. Someone had been in the room before us an left a few unusual things!! Plus I had booked a handicapped room and we were given a second flood room with no elevator! I did point it out after we had checked in but they made NO changes!

This property should be bulldozed! The place is old and it looks it. No elevator for second story rooms. Breakfast was a joke; coffee, juice and granola bars. Room was in poor condition. Outside door did not seal, no stopper in the sink, hair dryer plug had to be pushed into the plug for it to work, furniture was old and stained, no coffee, iron and ice available. Wyndham Hotels should be ashamed to have their name associated with the place.

Upon opening the door of our room, it had a horrific smell of cat pee!!! None of the lights worked, and I knew there was no way I was going to stay there. Absolutely disgusting.

We have stayed at clean and safe Super 8 motels in the past and have been satisfied. This was like the ghetto. Kids and adults up and loud until midnight. Grass overgrown, front door hard to open, room smelled, carpet was not vacuumed, bathroom floor dirty, sawdust in bathroom, etc.

It was filthy the room stunk there was a big in the bed the doors were dirty it was just awful

The carpeting was so dirty that it stained my socks. The room smelled. The windows would not open. The pullout mattress had stains on it. I think the stains were menstrual blood. We stayed two nights so my kids could attend the Taylor Swift concert. We had no housekeeping during that time. It was one of the most disgusting rooms that I’ve ever stayed in.

Ok, we needed a place to sleep for 1 night. This was the only hotel in the area that wasn't $500, so we booked this for $189. Couldn't be that bad, right? Wrong. It was that bad. It's soooo run down & sketchy af. It's old & it looks it. Our room was ick. It had a mildew/old stale cigarette smell that hits you when I opened the door. Opened up the windows & there is no screen. Get to the bathroom & the tub was filthy. Guess we just don't shower, but that's ok. There was no hot water anyway. The bed was so freaking hard & I refused to get under the covers for fear of what I'd be sleeping on. The wifi didn't work, we had one outlet to plug in a phone which was so loose it wouldn't support the weight of a charger. What exactly were we paying for? This was all bad but the thing that really made me angry was the white envelope on the dresser that had a note written on it from housekeeping. They wanted a tip for "cleaning" the room. What?!? I have no problem giving someone a gratuity for a service, but there was no service. If it's your job to clean hotel rooms, then I don't know.... make sure you clean them?? I can't believe I paid almost $200 to stay at this place. Never ever again. I would have forked over the extra 2-3 hundred if I'd known how bad this place was. Look elsewhere. Trust me.

Don't let the pictures online fool you. The room was not clean and it had roaches. Once I saw the second roach, I had to leave. Utterly disappointed and disgusted. I should have asked for a refund.

Great staff and very clean room and comfortable

I’ll NEVER NEVER recommended. I found a lot of cockroach. I was upset that night, because I was worried about my baby, the weather and the worse part, go to the bed and found a lot of cockroach. Bad customer service. Dirty and unhealthy.

Theres absolutely no reason this should even be an option to stay at. The pictures are completely misleading. I stayed for one night because I had no choice and left the next day demanding a refund because the place was disgusting. There were burn holes in the sheets, the toilet seat was the wrong size, the light switches were missing half of there covers, the hair dryer was covered in hair and brown spots. There was holes in the wall and unfinished patch jobs everywhere. There was trash all over the grounds and police sirens throughout the night. Expedia should really take this hotel off as an option. Absolutely disgusting

Every was went good. The only complaint really is the bed was too firm for me. I could kept tossing and turning all night and I work up with a sore hip and knees. But overall experience it was good.

Bed pillows were the size of a couch throw pillow. (small). The facility has two story buildings with 6 rooms in each building. The steps going up to second level were old rusty steel frames with concrete steps. (no risers). Rusty holes in the step framework. It all looked unsafe. The building shook when neighbors walked up or down. Motion lights in the room that couldnt be disabled.When you rolled over in bed in the middle of the night, the overhead light would turn on.

The 1 bedroom suite was exactly what we needed!!

My stay was peaceful not alot of traffic on the property late at night. Property was clean. My only complaint was the air conditioning was in the front of the suite and therefore it was a little too warm during parts of the night. Otherwise would have liked to have a separate remote control for the living room but it was not a major problem

Decent place, plenty of beds for what we needed. Had a small mini fridge & ours had an extra bar sink which was perfect. Service was excellent, other than the sirens that went by the room was quiet, beds are a little harder than some & pillows a little flatter which was fine for me. Shower & water was hot & had dark out curtains. Some rooms had a water view, ours didn’t but it was still fine. Limited breakfast of coffee, juice & granola bars but juice was great! Pool wasn’t open yet, you can tell they’re been working to fix the place up & it’s still in progress but was exactly what we needed! Thanks! Would stay there again.

Nice location for short stay and the staff was accommodating. The only thing that frustrates me and my fiancee is the person next door to our room is talking on the phone in the middle of the night till early in the morning and not even think that he is disturbing the other people sleeping and he even left his empty bottles of alcohol to our door.

The check in was good. The clerk was very helpful with us being unable to climb stairs. Unfortunately the room was very outdated. There were no USB outlets, the tub appeared old and scuffed. The clerk had upgraded us to a better room that had a hot tub but it didn’t appear as though it had been used in a long time. The water was backwards in the faucets. The cold was hot and the hot was cold. The bed was hard as a rock. However, for the price we paid, we got what we paid for. We weren’t expecting luxury.

Have stayed here in past, uninspiring but affordable. Pleasantly surprised by renovated room(bedding comforter bathroom, etc. ) was informed lot of the rooms now done inside as well. Makes this hotel much more comfortable stay at great price. Seems safe enough certainly, maybe a little more activity in the parking lot but it settled down around dark.

Front desk was unreasonable. One didn't know English, the other was a bully. I had booked an Accessible room, advertised as an accessible room. We did not receive an accessible room. Room was dirty and unkept, I have photos to prove my claim.

When we arrived, there was no one to check us in. No one answered the bell or either number we called. We ended up having to find another hotel.

Took the night clerk 15 min to come to the desk. I was ringing bell Ans beating on the door. I was about to leave when he finally showed up.

The owners of the property were excellent and extremely accommodating. They were able to accommodate my every request and were overall extremely helpful

The first room I was given wasn’t clean and not had one option left. The other option was full of roaches, the door didn’t lock, no WiFi, electrical issues etc. was told I would get a full refund and didn’t receive it yet. I need help

Pretty dingy room, the shower leaked all night, and the staff seemed very frustrated to be speaking to anyone. Probably wont be back.

The rates are amazing compared to other hotels that are not as clean or as safe. The location is private, it is quiet and the staff is very friendly. They go above and beyond to make their guests feel appreciated. I appreciate their courtesy.

Check in was super easy and convenient- the rooms were spacious and accommodating- the area was quiet and nicely kept! We will be coming back in the future !

This was a horrible hotel that Expedia should be ashamed and Wyndham should be ashamed for listing. Drug dealers and prostitution was taking place right out in the open.

Near the malls and lots of restaurants!

Even though the address was 82nd Street, it was two blocks off of 82nd street so it was a little hard to find. When we peeled back the covers the bed smelled a little bit like urine. And they automatic lights were coming on for no reason I had to take the bulbs out just to shut them off. The people were nice and it was updated nicely though.

Very good place to stay ...... We stay 1 nite and was great..... Breakfast needs work

We arrived two hours early and walked to the front desk to see if we could get an early check in. No one was there, but there was a hand written note with instructions to call if needed assistance followed by a phone number next to a scratched out partially written number. I called the number and got no answer. We came back later at 7 and were greeted at the front desk and got our room and keys. Filthy motel, but what to expect for that price I guess. Next to giant construction site. Pool is closed with tarp, but wouldn't even use if available after inspecting the room. Dirty room. Burn holes everywhere. Found a used towel in the pull out coach. One of the remotes was missing a battery so had to alternate batteries to switch channels between rooms. Bathroom thankfully had half a roll of toilet paper. The bathroom fan didn't have on off switch, but did make a slight squeaky noise. Stains everywhere on most the room. Inspected bed sheets and mattress. No bed bugs, but filled with stains and crumbs. Broken office chair next to desk would suddenly drop 2 inches after sitting on it for a few seconds regardless if raised or lowered all the way. One of the light bulbs unexpectedly worked on the dusty desk lamp, so we were able to get a couple of card games going. The amazing continental breakfast consisted of coffee, juice and a baking pan of chewy granola bars. This was paired with a vending machine by the back door. The Cheetos were only a little stale.

The room was as expected. This is a low cost option with no breakfast and no coffee in room. There are two smallish tvs with basic cable. It was clean but there was a noticeable odor when entering the room.
