Candlewood Suites - Wichita East by IHG

We were in a 2 bedroom suite that had plenty of space and a nice layout. The beds were super comfy. We didn't cook but the kitchen looked well-stocked. Love the free coffee/tea/cocoa in the lobby. The a/c worked great. The pool table in the lobby was nice to have. We also liked the lending locker that had cards, and board games.

The desk staff were unknowledgeable about check out procedures and could not provide a printed receipt. The sink apparently backed up while we were gone because we returned to nasty black stuff all in it. We were away all day and didn’t use it. Public men’s room stayed stopped up for three days. Husband even offered to plunge it himself. Dog poop was in the hall. Hall and room had cigarette smoke smell.

The room was very spacious with a work/dining area and small kitchen. I was able to use their grill outside.

I had to immediately checkout because I have a severe allergy to cigarettes and I started having a reaction before I even got in my room. Definitely not a smoke free facility.

Rooms are really nice & clean.
