The family that runs the property speaks wonderful English and is so helpful and works to make your stay comfortable. The hotel is beautiful and well done. Clean and everything works. The location could not be better to be near by shopping and restaurants. They park your car for you for your stay and are always willing to help with maps and directions to places. I loved our stay. Great European breakfast included.

The hotel staff was wonderful and the property safe and clean. It was close to the center and we were able to walk every where. Finding the parking lot was a challenge so I’d recommend getting directions in advance.

We stayed overnight. The hotel is really close to Duomo, valet parking as no on site parking. Our room was about 15 meters from the main reception area/hotel. The breakfast is also in the main hotel. Our room was ok (as its in the main street so if light sleeper), you can hear the noise outside and the room upstairs. Close all to the shopping and trattoria.

My husband and I just spent two separate nights in the Hotel Duomo and found it very comfortable, convenient, and clean. It is just steps from the Duomo and an easy walk to shops and restaurants. The bathroom was well laid out and came with big fluffy towels. Most importantly, the hostess and her husband were very helpful and kind. He parked our car for us and brought it back to the door when we checked out. A word to the wise, do contact the hotel before arrival for instructions about how to drive into town. Our GPS had us going around in circles, but when we called, the proprietress guided us right to the hotel. We would happily stay at Hotel Duomo again.

We loved this hotel, their staff and the breakfast. The rooms and everything about the hotel is clean and enjoyable. Keep in mind this is a historic hotel, so it is cozy and delightful. We parked in their private area. The staff couldn't have been better or more helpful. We would certainly recommend staying there, and we'll do so again.

The hotel is right across from the cathedral and there are many bars and shops in the Square. The hotel was extremely clean nice size rooms and very comfortable beds. The TV in the room also had English channels, which wasn’t always the case in some other hotels in Italy. The breakfast was excellent scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and sweet bread abundant. I would certainly stay in this hotel again.

Unfortunately the only good things I have to say about this hotel is that the front desk attendants are friendly, the location is great, and the included breakfast is nice. Otherwise, I would not stay at this hotel again. The mattress was probably the most uncomfortable I’ve ever experienced. The furnishings are tired & dingy. The bathroom smelled of mildew and the shower desperately needed cleaning. It was not a comfortable or pleasant stay.

The location is everything - right by the Duomo! The staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean - not too fancy - but you have everything you need. The bed and the bedding were quite good. They have a nice breakfast buffet with many selections. I will go back again.

The Hotel Duomo is a very nice property directly off the square. It is very walkable to anything you want to see in Orvieto. The room was clean and comfortable and the included breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed our stay and recommend the Hotel Duomo.

It was amazing. The owners were very accommodating and friendly. All of the hotel was very clean and it had everything we needed. Breakfast was great with a lot of different choices. The location was perfect. All of the things we did were easily in walking distance. We loved Orvieto.

This is an excellent choice to stay in Orvieto. Perfectly located (just steps away from the Duomo) it's close to the main streets and attractions of the town. The hotel is not to big but in perfect condition. Spotless. The rooms are spacious, clean and have everything you need. Everything has been carefully maintained. The breakfast in the morning is delicious with everything you would expect. Staff is very friendly and will help you with anything you might need. I fully recommend this hotel. I would not choose another one if I return Orvieto.

部屋が広くて天井が高く、そして面白い絵画が飾ってありとてもリラックスできました。イタリアにしては朝食が充実しています。スタッフの方も明るくて感じが良かったです。チェックイン前、チェックアウト後に荷物を預かってくれたので、ゆっくり散歩できました。また利用したいと思うホテルです。

What a great hotel at a perfect location!! It’s close to Duomo, very easy to get from Orvieto train station by funicular and bus A to Duomo. I got a room at a separate building from the main building, so it was very quiet and the room is so spacious, clean and comfortable. There are so many shops, restaurants, cafes, gelateria around the hotel. Highly recommend it!!

Proximity to many landmarks and of course, the Duomo is literally next door. One of the few hotels that came with a stocked mini fridge. Great breakfast selection and plentiful so you don't have to come early. My room came with a balcony which was a pleasant surprise. Also spacious and modern bathroom. The service was friendly and accommodating. If I have to pick something, then it's the dated air-conditioning but it's down to preference - I preferred a icy cold room. Other that this, the hotel is highly recommended.

Hotel Duomo was wonderful. So close to the duomo and area is very quiet and safe at night. Our room was outstanding. Bedding was great, bathroom as well. A/C was perfect temperature. Nice closet with mirrors on insides of doors and a safe. We had a door that opened overlooking the lower patio and we could see the spires of the duomo from our room. Breakfast was very good and substantial. Can’t say enough good things about the staff-so helpful and cheerful. Light rain in the evening so the staff provided umbrellas for our use. WiFi was fast and steady. Highly recommend the Hotel Duomo.

We lived our Junior suite room at this hotel which had nice furniture and the room was comfortable. The breakfast here was great with made to order eggs and bacon plus a buffet of other self serve foods! The location is great with views of the duomo. Everything you dream of Italy!

Hotel Duomo in Orvieto is like coming home. The authentic caring of Andreina, Alessia, and Massimo is felt even before one arrives on property. All 3 were present to all the needs that emerged including some needs that were unexpected. That truly care about the happiness of their guests. We were also impressed with the thoughtfulness of the hotel, anticipating the needs of guests to support comfort in special ways, including room amenities and design. I have stayed at other locations in Orvieto and moving forward, it will always be Hotel Duomo. They are legions ahead of other options…

Excellent location and great staff. This is a family owned hotel that is perfect for a nice stay in Orvieto. I will be returning here. Gianni, the owner, gave us all kinds of wonderful recommendations and even described some of the town’s history to us. We would highly recommend it.

We had a very comfortable stay and the staff were so accommodating and kind. The location just around the corner from the Duomo right at the top of the town was perfect and also so quiet just off the tourist routes. I hope to stay again

Central location, great breakfast, clean rooms, friendly staff. It’s a short hike up from where the funicolare leaves you off. A little rough with bags if it’s super hot out, but otherwise a nice and pleasant walk. You are a staircase away from the duomo and a couple of side streets off of the main drag. We booked this on the Rick Steves recommendation and had zero regrets with our choice.

The location is everything - right by the Duomo! The staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean - not too fancy - but you have everything you need. The bed and the bedding were quite good. They have a nice breakfast buffet with many selections. I will go back again.

This is an excellent choice to stay in Orvieto. Perfectly located (just steps away from the Duomo) it's close to the main streets and attractions of the town. The hotel is not to big but in perfect condition. Spotless. The rooms are spacious, clean and have everything you need. Everything has been carefully maintained. The breakfast in the morning is delicious with everything you would expect. Staff is very friendly and will help you with anything you might need. I fully recommend this hotel. I would not choose another one if I return Orvieto.

First of all, it's Orvieto! This is a magical place. This hotel has the best location in Orvieto. But they do not just rely on their location; they back it up with genuine hospitality and a wonderful breakfast. Highly recommended.

The hotel is right across from the cathedral and there are many bars and shops in the Square. The hotel was extremely clean nice size rooms and very comfortable beds. The TV in the room also had English channels, which wasn’t always the case in some other hotels in Italy. The breakfast was excellent scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and sweet bread abundant. I would certainly stay in this hotel again.

The Hotel Duomo is a very nice property directly off the square. It is very walkable to anything you want to see in Orvieto. The room was clean and comfortable and the included breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed our stay and recommend the Hotel Duomo.

Wonderful location with convenient bus service from the Funicular to Piazza Duomo. Our room was very comfortable and clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a delicious assortment at the buffet breakfast and recommend Hotel Duomo most highly.

What a nice hotel! We greatly enjoyed having breakfast at the Hotel Duomo. Scrambled eggs were prepared on demand for us rather than warming in a tray. It was exceptional in many ways (fruit salad, very fresh honey, cakes and pastries). The staff were friendly and helpful. The room in the annex was modern enough. The street is busy with cars but that cannot be helped. A problematic entry door was being repaired as we left.

We lived our Junior suite room at this hotel which had nice furniture and the room was comfortable. The breakfast here was great with made to order eggs and bacon plus a buffet of other self serve foods! The location is great with views of the duomo. Everything you dream of Italy!
