We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Aviva in Tzununá on Lake Atitlán for two wonderful nights, and it truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. The staff made us feel right at home, always ready to help with a smile and going the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect. The rooms are absolutely beautiful: spacious, stylish, and thoughtfully designed with stunning views of the lake and surrounding volcanoes. Every detail feels luxurious yet eco-friendly, from the comfortable beds to the modern bathrooms and peaceful balconies where we could relax and soak in the scenery. We also loved the restaurant—the food was very good, fresh, and flavorful, with a nice variety of options that suited our tastes perfectly. Whether it was breakfast or dinner, every meal was a highlight of our stay.

This spot was booked for our honeymoon. The lake town is vibrant and full of energy. We loved this establishment because it captured the beauty of the lake while allowing us to enjoy our time away from all the noise. The staff here made us feel fantastic and knowing they have a restaurant on site where all the staff get to know your name was fantastic. We went from town to town after our stay here and I wish we stayed in this hotel for the whole time.

This hotel is fairly new so alot of construction is still happening and the road leading to the property is a bit rough. However, the staff is so pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was delicious my entire stay and the hotel is very clean, rooms are also spacious. The bed was huge but way too hard for my liking so made it a bit uncomfortable.
