Hotel Romerito

Very clean, did not go for the breakfast option as it was quite pricey, no parking though, and this is one of the reasons I chose the hotel… I arrived late in the evening and when I arrived in front of the garage door( after a steep decent to the garage, I saw the door closed and called the intercom, I was informed the parking is full… I circled around for 15 min and parked in a taxi place available until 08.00… next morning I took the car at 7.30 and came back to the hotel to try again… more than half of the parking was empty… did all the cars just left between 01.00 in the morning and 7.30? I really don’t know… but no parking is an issue

Great price, amazing gym

Some renovation noise in the early morning and little noise isolation from the hallway, but still a super value stay. Exceptionally clean room and great gym facilities!

The hotel is very beautiful and authentic despite the surrounding area. The staff is amazing and very acomodating. It is nice that they have a garage for a small fee and a restaurant opened for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Quite with parking, cafe/restaurant on site, lift to upper floors, helpful friendly staff, lovely courtyard to sit and have a drink. For us it suited the bill, nothing to dislike. Thank you.

It was great - we love the garden. The hotel was beeing renovated which was obvious in the hallways etc… the rooms were nice and new! :) The elevator didn’t work though. :) We will be back 🇪🇸👍🇩🇰

El ascensor se averió y no lo repararon hasta el día siguiente. Al tener mi esposa movilidad reducida le costó mucho acceder por las escaleras. Un hotel debería disponer de un servicio de reparación urgente

Restaurant was closed

Our room was just lovely, with a great balcony. The en-suite was perfectly clean, like the rest of the suite. The restaurant was inexpensive and the food was excellent. We can’t forget the beautiful inner courtyard which we used every day. Highly recommendable hotel.

nice gym, close to airport, we paid for underground parking (8 euros) which was convenient, restaurant food was good, courtyard very pretty and quiet

En general la estancia ha estado bien La habitación es un poco pequeña pero correcta, lo único que aunque todo está limpio, el suelo no está limpio. No podía caminar descalza pq no se había fregado el suelo, ninguno de los dos días, aunque pasan cada día a limpiar y ordenar la habitación. Por lo demás todo bien.

Uno dei motivi per i quali avevo scelto questo hotel era la possibilità di parcheggiare nel garage dell’hotel. Arrivati ho scoperto che non c’era posto. Colazione scarsissima! Due fettine di pane una confezione di burro e una marmellatina moporzione e caffè 5,5 euro. Ho chiesto due altre marmellate per i miei bambini e hanno aggiunto al conto altri due euro! Abbiamo preferito fare colazione in un bar di una stazione di servizio nelle successive 4 mattine, dove era possibile scegliere anche croissant, ciambelle e tanto altro. Alle 9 del mattino in albergo non avevano più cornetti! Pulizie delle camere quasi invisibili. Personale al check in, poca empatia e quasi scortese. Chiederei un rimborso solo per non aver potuto parcheggiare la macchina che era la mia priorità. Ho sbagliato a prenotare questo hotel e se tornassi indietro non lo prenoterei assolutamente!

The staff were very friendly and helpful, one in particular spoke very good English and was doing a great job trying to help out many last minute bookings, after a flight was cancelled (I'm sorry I didn't catch her name). They were very patient with everyone and accomodating. It was a beautiful hotel, and the courtyard was lovely to sit outside and enjoy a meal in. It is located conveniently to the airport and I would definitely stay here again.

Todo ha estado correcto a excepción de la limpieza del suelo, se notaba que hacía tiempo que el suelo no se limpiaba. Mi hija estuvo un rato andando descalza y acabó con los pies negros y llenos de pelusa.

We had a fantastic and comfortable stay at Hotel Romerito. The hotel had everything you need - comfortable bed, hot water, good shower pressure. The restaurant at the hotel offers a good breakfast as well! The hotel was very clean - there was always a team of cleaners throughout the day. More than I had seen at any hotel!

Close to the airport. Rooms are very clean and cosy but not big. Very nice inner yard. So, choose room facing the yard. It will have small but nice balcony. Soundproof is bad. Big underground parking. Nice staff. Good cheap restaurant with delicious food. In general, very nice hotel for a short stay in Malaga, especially if you're with a car. In case you would like to go to the center of Malaga by public transportation, there is a bus stop (#20) just near the hotel, bus ride to the historic center is about 20-25 min

Arrived late at the airport so this was the perfect stop gap for an overnight stay.. the staff were welcoming and the room was clean and comfortable we had an amazing sleep. The only negative was that there was no kettle or drink making facilities.. a cup of tea on arriving at 1 in the morning would of been appreciated

Hotel Romerito was a one night stop. We arrived at night, then caught a plane the next morning. We had a car and used their secure underground parking for €8, perfect. The room itself was tiny, even for a couple. The AC was great and the windows kept noise out. Perfect for a one nighter in and out.

Extremt lyhört. Rummet minimalt. Frukosten à la carte som tog en timme att få efter beställning. Saknade vattenkokare på rummet. Bekvämt med flera olika kuddar att välja på.

Bom quarto, mas como era no térreo, havia barulho do corredor e também havia barulho do lado da janela, pois dava para a ladeira da garagem. Localização bem longe do centro e do comércio, sorte que eu estava de carro.

Room was clean and comfy, just a bit smaller than I booked for, unfortunately kitchen was closed, so we cannot add breakfast to our stay and I guess the rooms are not insulated because you could hear every step in the hallway.. Otherwise it was ok and staff was friendly

La habitación estaba muy limpia y acogedora, pero es bastante ruidosa, cuando pasa la gente por el pasillo se oye todas las conversaciones y el paso del agua en las tuberías cuando en otras habitaciones abren los grifos se escucha demasiado (de normal ese ruido en una casa no se oye).

Very clean hotel lobby and rooms and the shower was the best we’ve come across at any hotel. The bathroom could use more counter space and more hooks would be appreciated in the room. The courtyard is absolutely beautiful!

We were unable to get refund when we had to cancel our stay. The hôtel kept asking us for sensitive data from our bank account number, in Canada, to refund us. They say they can’t do orherwise, Even if we prepaid with our crédit card. We don’t understand why!

While I do not actually think this hotel deserves a 5 star rating I do believe it deserves a higher rating than it currently has, therefore I am trying to raise the average. We are currently in the middle of a full weeks stay here and am using some downtime to get this task accomplished. The "facility" itself is maintained meticulously with a very hard working staff. The restaurant within the hotel is, without a doubt the best in the neighborhood. Remembering what we are paying for the room per night expectations need to be set proportionately to the charge. Of any hotel we ask most for 3 items 1. Good A/C - check 2. A good strong and hot shower - check 3. Comfortable bed(s) - check We had no ants or bugs of any kind As an Architect it really is a rather attractive and semi classically designed facility. As in most of Spain, as Americans we are bothered by the amount and "locations," of all the smokers but I suspect it is also regulated by laws. The ONLY drawback I have thus far, which would be free to fix it is that the staff we deal with could be a lot more congenial and hospitable to us. It might be that they are very used to Spanish speaking clientele, which, while we do our best we are not fluent. UPDATE....The staff has now gotten used to us, or it was me however they are also very friendly struggling with little English matching my feeble attempts at Spanish. All in all. Price to quality in.my opinion is well on the mark if not actually a super great value and find. If

Check in was slow and no elevator have to carry the suitcases thru 15 stairs.

The service staff are so kind and very professional

We had a fantastic four nights in Hotel Romerito. We had originally booked for two nights but extended to four. All the staff are amazingly friendly and helpful which makes this hotel so special. We are cycle tourists and the hotel have very kindly stored our large boxes while we go off on a cycle tour. You can catch a number 20 bus into the centre from outside the hotel.

Cute hotel, but some of ladies at the reception were very unhelpful and dismissive when I asked for help, expecially the one with black curly hair, as if she was angry or annoyed with something and just had zero sympathy for my situation. The least they could do was use Google translate to understand me. The restaurant had very limited fresh pastries and overcharged for a coffee. The coffee was double the price of one across the street. The room was clean, but only one shampoo/conditioner for hair and body, which is very cheap. Not a single coffee maker or hot water dispenser anywhere in hotel. So, for a cup of tea or coffee you had to keep going to the restaurant. The fountain and courtyard was cute,but then other mentioned stuff are important as well.

Wir waren nur für 1 Nacht als Zwischenstop da und waren absolut zufrieden! Ausnahmslos freundliches Personal, mehrsprachig und hilfsbereit. Tiefgarage mit direktem Zugang zum Aufzug zu den Zimmern, für 8 Euro vollkommen ok. Der Innenhof ist wirklich schön! Und bei unserem Aufenthalt weihnachtlich geschmückt. Wir waren zum Abendessen im Restaurant. Auch dort wurden wir sehr freundlich und mit Spaß bedient und das Essen war lecker und auch preislich im Rahmen. Das Zimmer war völlig ausreichend mit 1 großen und 1 kleineren Bett. Bad mit Dusche sauber, Fön vorhanden und sogar Zahnbürsten und Einwegrasierer. Sehr aufmerksam 👍 Auf der Terrasse konnten wir den Abend schön ausklingen lassen. Wir können das Hotel empfehlen!

Für eine Nacht vor oder nach dem Flug super Industriegebiet ,- nichts in der Gegend! Hotel ok.. Alles gut

Fuimos para ver concierto en sala Paris 15 y la ubicación del hotel está a 10 minutos andando. Hotel muy bonito y con encanto, habitación correcta limpia y cómoda y la atención de los trabajadores de 10. Si voy otra vez repito seguro. Relación calidad precio perfecto.

Einfaches aber sehr sauberes Hotel, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Ganz toll, der Innenhof. Mit dem Bus geht's, mehr oder weniger, problemlos ins Zentrum. Zehn Minuten mit dem Auto zum Flughafen

Het hotel ligt buiten het centrum. In nabijheid weinig vertier. Echter bus 20 stopt bij het hotel en brengt je voor € 1,40 (2024) op de beste plek van het centrum.

Nice solution if you need to get to Malaga Airport quickly and early in the morning.

Can't ask more for an overnight stay. Spotless hotel, 15€ Uber from airport. In an industrial area so not a holiday place but great for what I needed.

Hotel was bright, refurbished modern bathrooms. Lovely courtyard to relax & enjoy food / drinks. Popular restaurant. Staff friendly & helpful. Excellent base for exploring the region. Bus stop outside into Malaga. (Approx 20mins) Great little bars/ cafe -take out local food, shops on the road through lovely Los Padros village makes up for the Approach via industrial area Would recommend.

We enjoyed our short stay at Romerito, the staff was kind, the room was clean and the hotel very pretty. Even if there is not much around, it is easy to get to the city center by bus.
