Rooms basic, shower and sink in room, no bedside tables? And plugs away from the bed side, breakfast continental only, coffee and tea available free all day, convenient to town and public transport. Restaurants and bars close by. No charge to leave bags prior to booking but a charge to leave them on the last day!! Lift was not working properly when we were there. They have a WhatsApp chat but nobody replies

Our stay was 'as expected'. The room was 'dorm-style' with the bare minimum for room and amenities but it was reasonable for the cost of the nights stay. The small bar with tables/chairs and a pool table allowed for some good space to hang around, have a couple drinks from the cooler, and enjoy some company before heading to bed. The location was pretty decent...within 2 blocks of some energized pubs and a couple of other food options...and only 10-15 minutes to the City Hall along with many other pubs and stores to check out. We met a couple that had come into town for a concert at the Opera House...and the IBIS Budget was their go-to place for a quick sleepover

Fairly standard for a budget hotel, generally clean and reasonably comfortable. Had a message from them the day before about where to park, followed the instructions about using the NCP car park and the app, discount code didn't work on the day so we ended up paying full price for parking not discounted which was annoying. Breakfast was a cold buffet with toast and cereal, which was good.

Clean but basic. Room was much too small, could hardly squeeze past the bed, nowhere to put clothes and other stuff. Shower only. No kettle or coffee/tea making. Free fresh ground coffee at reception, but no decaf. Parking at nearby multistory, with discount £12.50 per night.

Conveniently pretty central, pubs and food nearby, it’s a lively establishment and is in the cheaper bracket of hotel. You can get Pizza and booze tilllate, there’s a pool table, they even had bouncers.Rooms are efficient. It’s a bed and a shower, akin to an Ibis Budget. Oh and there is loads of parking on the Ringo App.

Bed had dirty sheets (hairs), mattress protector was disgusting, with various substances on it… and room had a horrible smell. I could not be moved as the place was full. Staff did change my sheets and duvet but only had a single duvet for a double bed… Staff in fairness, and in particular the Manager, Jacqui, were apologetic, extremely helpful, and my full refund is being processed. This is more of a low-end travel hotel although you wouldn’t think it with the prices they charge. I won’t go there again.

Staff were nice, the hotel is budget so you cant be picky, rooms were a bit dusty. Evidently dont get hovered and mopped on a regular, no soap in the despenser when we arrived, a stain in the bed. Room temperature was pretty intimitant. But it is pretty close to the centre, showers decent, TV worked. Is what it is hotel.

This hotel is very much a budget hotel as is indicated in the name. I had booked this room for a girl’s trip to Belfast but when we arrived I chose to add another hotel room. The shower isn’t in an enclosed room, it has a glass door that is partially frosted but which opens directly to the hotel room. If one is traveling with one’s spouse, or solo, this configuration may be fine but it becomes awkward when it’s a girls getaway. The room was clean and the bed was fairly comfortable. The shower had great water pressure and was roomy. There is no water kettle in the room. In the lobby there are two coffee machines that make a wide variety of types of drinks. The Americano and Cappuccino options are free but the other options aren’t. The cost of a continental breakfast is quite reasonable at £8 or so. There was no trash receptacle There were no tissues If you want a hair dryer you must check it out at the front desk There is no phone in the room The hotel is fairly close to the Grand Central Train Station (3/10ths of a mile), an easy walk. There are quite a number of restaurants, bars and clubs within a block or two. There is a Tesco market across the street.

I'd just like to thank the young lady on the front desk who very kindly went out of her way to arrange an early check-in for me. This helped me immeasurably - I was able to attend a wedding that afternoon without having to worry about nipping back to the hotel between the ceremony and the reception. I had travelled to get to Belfast for several hours and arrived at the hotel for 12pm. The room was ready but was told if I wanted the key it would be an extra £10 charge. As a guest who has visited that hotel on numerous occasions I found that terrible. No extra work was involved the room was ready so out of principle I waited until 3pm. The shower in the room was not great the top holder was broke so could only use the shower by holding it in my hand. Did I ask for £10 because of this poor facility ….. No but I am expected to pay £10 to get a key to my room when it is already ready.

Booked 4x Twin rooms, and called up to inform the hotel of a late night arrival. The hotel informed me this was fine, but then called me back to inform me that they had overbooked and only 2x twin rooms were available. We were given two double rooms with bunkbeds instead, which was not great. Happy that we had the total rooms required but not a great experience having to sleep in a bunk bed. Expected a refund for at least one room or a gesture of some sort for the inconvenience.

The location is ok, there were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. But the area seemed a little run down. The staff was great, but the rooms were pretty filthy, cramped, and our bedroom door was broken… The bedsheets weren’t very clean, and although the windows did a good job at blocking a lot of it out, but there was loads of noise coming from some of the clubs nearby. Wouldn’t really recommend.
The location is ok, there were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. But the area seemed a little run down. The staff was great, but the rooms were pretty filthy, cramped, and our bedroom door was broken… The bedsheets weren’t very clean, and although the windows did a good job at blocking a lot of it out, but there was loads of noise coming from some of the clubs nearby. Wouldn’t really recommend.

There is a night club right next to the hotel. Seems fun, but it’s quite loud. The window is double paned to block out the noise, but that didn’t help entirely.

Hotel central to everything. Located in botanic quarter. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Didnt spend time in the room, used to shower and sleep. Nice welcoming sfaff on reception. Let us store our bags until room was ready at 15.00. Didnt have breakfasts onsite too much variety in the city.

The hotel itself was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The lift from the ground floor didn't work and had to be used from the first floor, requiring the use of a flight of stairs. The hotel was next to a popular bar 'Filthy McNastie's' and the loud beat of music permeated the even-number side of the hotel despite two sets of double glazing on the windows. This music started at lunchtime and ran on until at least 1.30am.

This is a very reasonably-priced hotel in Centre of city. Close to some traditional pubs which were great for a nightcap. £7 for decent breakfast. Rooms small but absolutely fine for price and comfort. We arrived late evening and left 8am next day so just parked on street,and avoided parking charges.

As much as the staff were top notch lovely helpful people here are the bad points. Bed rock hard I got 1.5 hours sleep couldn’t do a second night left in the afternoon, tea and coffee only available in front of the reception 24hours but anytime you want a hot drink you have to go there. Breakfast is abysmal, Toast, jam and choc spread in jars but nothing you can put any in to take to the table. Croissant, Brioche, 3 cereals. Continental breakfast. Tinned mixed fruit, two bowls of yogurt and a very small selection of cheese and cold cuts. If I could load pictures I would.

Fairly standard for a budget hotel, generally clean and reasonably comfortable. Had a message from them the day before about where to park, followed the instructions about using the NCP car park and the app, discount code didn't work on the day so we ended up paying full price for parking not discounted which was annoying. Breakfast was a cold buffet with toast and cereal, which was good.

Very basic hotel, more like a hostel. Rooms very cramped, barely walking space around the bed, shower and basin in room, toilet separate. Common areas carpets stained, quite expensive for a basic basic service. Breakfast a very minimal continental breakfast for €8.

A very much so budget hotel. Definitely on the over priced side for what you get. Very little options at breakfast, plus awful music in the background. They seemed to be price gouging aswell considering they hiked up the price of a room on the day of a concert, even though it was only a Wednesday. Otherwise staff are super friendly, the place is clean and location is good.

The hotel balanced budget & practicality nicely. For two nights, via budget air travel, I didn't need a wardrobe, for example, but did have hanging space. Shower & toilet in cubicles rather than seperate bathroom? A practical solution. The bonus was a genuine continental breakfast with proper croissants, bread rolls, cheese & cold meats, not just mini-croissants & mini-pains au chocolats. Not forgetting properly strong but still machine-provided coffee. All really rather impressive...

I really enjoyed my stay. The location is so convenient, only a kilometer to Grand Central Station and to the city centre. Breakfast buffet doesn’t have a lot of options but is plentiful and of good quality. Staff are friendly and were helpful when I had a question.

You can get Pizza and booze tilllate, there’s a pool table, they even had bouncers.Rooms are efficient. It’s a bed and a shower, akin to an Ibis Budget. Oh and there is loads of parking on the Ringo App.

This place isn’t worth staying at. It’s not clean and the area is very congested. There’s no parking available with the hotel and there’s not enough space in the lounge area. Overall, I was unhappy with my stay. The only positive thing is that it’s in the city centre.

To start with, having paid £284 for 2 nights through Hotels.com, I learnt that another couple couple paid far less. Not a great start. The room would be ok for one person but was a little cosy for 2. Not just the size of the room but the fact there was a gap under the toilet door which was no help for a bit of privacy. Similarly, we could hear the occupants next door using their loo. So soundproofing isn't great. Being unable to switch off the toilet light, which was not helped by the aforementioned gap, I contacted reception who sent someone up to demonstrate how to turn the light off. This involved reaching up in a gap between the toilet ceiling panel and wall and locating a rocker switch. While 'Totally safe', it would have been very difficult to locate in the dark. Howver, he did say that he would ensure maintenence would sort this the next day. This was not done as maintenance did not work on Saturday. The staff while generally sympathetic and helpful seemed very lethargic and yawned while checking us in, mumbling what floor we were in etc. Maybe best to spend a little more money and stay somewhere a little better next time.

Overall, the hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, the bed was uncomfortable, and we felt the breakfast was not worth the price. For €10 per person, the buffet only included cereal, yogurt, toast, and coffee, which was very disappointing, especially considering the price in Canadian dollars. We stayed at several hotels during our trip, and at this price point, we had much better breakfasts elsewhere. Not only did we have an uncomfortable night’s sleep, but we also left the breakfast buffet still feeling hungry and had to find breakfast somewhere else.
