We were unable to check in. The power was out, which was not noted on the website, so we paid for a room. The doors were locked and we couldn't stay. They have not responded to my request for a refund. Will never do business again unless they do. Please update your website if your rooms are unavailable.

I actually had difficulty figuring out how to get into this hotel because the main entrance is down a hill and around in back, not very comforting in the dark. The lobby seemed a little gritty and the room did, too. The room was oddly huge, then I realized it must have been one set up for handicapped folks (I am not). There was no coffee in the room, only a big urn out in the lobby. There were no cups or glasses in the room. Lighting was poor. There was a fridge and microwave, however. No breakfast nor a restaurant in the hotel.

My particular room smelled awful. Like air fresheners trying to cover mold and years of age. I slept for 4 hours and had to leave because of the air quality in the room. Never stay there!!

The place is infested with cockroaches, the bedding linens are filthy dirty and looks to have never been washed. The room had a bad oder as soon as you walked in. The mattresses were old and lumpy. We got a refund after less than 10 minutes in the room. Never stay here!!

There was literally fecal material smeared on the plastic mattress cover... My wife cried until we packed up and left without staying more than a half hour. If you feel like staying in a room where someone was recently murdered, this is your place.

This place is the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed and mind you we paid $400 for 2 nights. I wish I could rate 0 star. It still gives me PTSD after my last stay. I’m so scared thinking about it still. Everything is filthy and gross. It’s like they never clean and just keep taking in customer. Just please do yourself a favor and do not do not do not stay here. I only made this decision bc it was the closest one that available in EF weekend. I regret staying here till the end of my life. It’s truly traumatized.

Worst place I've ever stayed. The sheets were clean but that's the only positive thing I to can say about the place. I'm not a neat freak, but this place is filthy. I didn't want to touch anything. Had I not prepaid, I would not have stayed there.

Everything about the hotel room was gross. The smell of the room was disgusting. The bathroom smelled like old vomit. The bathroom didn't look like it was cleaned. The towels were all folded differently as if the room wasn't turned over from the old guests. The towels were stained. The bedding smelled like it hadn't been washed in years. The mattress was like a rock and you got 1 lumpy old pillow. Not what you'd expect for spending almost $200 a night. I would never return to this location.

The bathroom smelled like mold and pee. The shower curtain didn’t hang right so when you showered all the water just came out the sides. The noise from the hallway and the people above us kept us up most the night and woke us up very early the next morning.

For a low price its a nice hotel but between the brown stains on the sheets, broken lamps, tiny tv and broken faucet in the tub its better to go somewhere else. If your looking for a right budget stay then come here

Nothing but a rundown shack that hasn't been updated in probably 100 years. Had to complain 3, yes THREE TIMES about the animals above us, sounded like they were jumping off the beds onto the floor - WHERE were the parents? After the 3rd complaint they FINALLY moved us to another room. I'll sleep on a street corner before I spend one cent in this place again.

Very convenient location while visiting Michigan Adventure. The front desk lady was very friendly and caring. Walking distance to Mcdonald and the gas station. Right off the highway,which was nice too. Definitely a quiet location with friendly staff.

Beware of this hotel. It is rundown, dirty, and unsafe. I had to call the manager on a phone at the front desk and he answers it by saying "What\'s wrong?" I said that I was there to check in, so he shows up to check me in. He took me downstairs into a very dark hallway to my room which was also very dark. The sprinkler on the ceiling was gone, the bathroom was old and dirty. I decided to do an errand and came back an hour later to see a police car out front. It looks like some people live there because there were personal items in the windows. I decided to leave and go to another hotel. I forfeited my money. I felt very unsafe. I do not recommend this hotel at all, stay very far away! There are other options up the road.

This was a fiasco. The rooms I booked were supposed to be king sized adjoining rooms with tubs. We get there and the tubs are basic and the rooms are not adjoining. I said something to the people at the front desk. They switched our rooms so they were adjoining. But instead of having a king size bed. We had two queen sizes instead. Ok, that was very kind of them. We head to our rooms. The minute we hit our floor. The entire hallway reeks of cigarettes. The rooms themselves looked decent, at first. The bathroom was nicely stocked. But the toilet paper rolls that were put in place for us to use. Had poop on the wrapper. The showers had not been cleaned at all.The carpets were littered with dirt and whatever else. There were black standing grease spots all over the floor. Our feet turned black walking on the carpets and mulitple pairs of socks were destroyed. When dinner time came around on our second night. We were told by the restaurant that we had to meet them in the gas station parking lot. Because the manager had a problem with food being delivered from them apparently. The staff are incredibly kind. But the upkeep of the place is very lackluster. I will definitely not be choosing this place again. Very disappointed.

The room and bathroom need a serious remodel . They also need a good cleaning . I understand that this is a pet friendly room , but isn’t that why we pay $20 a night for (a little extra cleaning) ? I have never stayed in a room without some sort of coffee maker , although they do have coffee in reception area . They categorize this as a no frills hotel , a great description .
